I miss the 'Royals' to this day! This was such a wonderful sit, in such a comfortable house, in such a lovely neighborhood--Michelle was so welcoming, she made me feel right at home. I highly recommend it!

We met June and Alan a few weeks before the sit so all was clear and everyone was happy. A slight hiccup on the first day, but new flights quickly arranged. The cats Willow and Phoebe were adorable, Willow especially, enjoyed being fussed. Their home is a large open space, extremely comfortable, well maintained, with a gorgeous wraparound garden. The location is perfect for exploring the Norfolk broads and only a short trip into the city of Norwich. If you get the chance to house sit, you will not be disappointed. Thank you June and Alan for sharing your home and fur babies.
Warm regards,
Ros and Del

Chai and Brutus were great to sit. Chai is a very seeet, cuddly pup. I think Brutus would like to be a cuddly lap dog, but he doesn’t fit in laps! lol

Andrew
Andrew met us when we arrived and showed us over the house and how everything worked, and talked us through how to take care of Moolie & Bhindi as well as leaving us a detailed typed up guide. He was very warm and friendly, and made us feel very welcome in his & Jessica’s beautiful house, and very relaxed about our week ahead.

Moolie is the most lovable and easy to care for dog I have ever cared for. She is very well trained and extremely responsive to any commands and so is a joy to walk in any of the beautiful walks around Ashmore woods & countryside. Once off the road she can be let off the lead snd will run about happily but will always come to you when called. She also walks beautifully on the lead - never pulls and usually walking close to you. She is also very happy in the car and just as good in a new setting/new walk as she is with her local/regular walks. She is very friendly with other dogs and people. And at all times she is a lovely companion spend time with - good natured, affectionate and playful. We are both missing her already.

What can I say about Bhindi the Bengal?! He is absolutely beautiful - his fur glints gold in the light with the most beautiful markings. He is such a character - very cheeky - up on every surface, into everything, howling for attention or his food (or our food if it happened to be fish!!) but he’s so lovely that you can’t help but give in to him! We became enslaved pretty much on day one! He and Moolie are lovely together - often snoozing together in one of Moolie’s baskets. He needs watching if he goes upstairs - Andrew stressed the importance of keeping the bedroom doors closed in case he peed on the beds. But apart from this potential bad habit - he is very easy to look after.

Andrew and Jessica have created a beautiful and very comfortable home, full of Jessica’s stunning pairings and Ashmore is a very special place - a quintessential old English village with very friendly neighbours, and surrounded by unbroken beautiful countryside and dense woodland. It was such a shame Moolie got a cut on one of her pads near the end of our sit and so we couldn’t carry on walking her. She accepted having her paw bathed twice a day with no fuss or difficulty and was fine about just being let out into the garden for the last few days - she is just such a flexible and relaxed dog.

All in all we had a very happy and relaxing week and would most definitely return if asked, and would highly recommend.

My stay at Karen and Andrew's, looking after Charlie Brown couldn't have been more comfortable, inviting and fun
CB is an energetic happy going lab who has the most attentive loving parents.
I arrived a couple of days prior to really settle in and to get to know the whole family, the routine, and the area.
Karen and Andrew have a lovely home and there are great walks to be had in the area and others accessible with a short drive.
Thank you for your hospitality and sharing your home, CB, and Launceston with me. I was thoroughly spoiled and can't recommend this sit more highly!
