We had a great time sitting Molokai and Lena in Kathy‘s home! Lena is genuinely the nicest dog and Molokai was sweet too after taking some time to warm up. It is a beautiful house and we felt very at home. Kathy provided us with lots of information and was very understanding about a situation that came up while we were housesitting. All in all we can only recommend staying here!
Molly and Lola are wonderfully friendly dogs with their own individual personalities, and are a joy to hang out with and to take for walks. It was great to watch them sniffing and exploring, weaving through the fields of wheat, and catching up with each other excitedly. They are straightforward to look after and were super well-behaved when we took them out in our car for a walk in the woods, as recommended by our hosts. Blythe and Polly are very affectionate cats and are full of character. They waited happily on their bed for us to come and stroke them, and would miaow gently and lead us over to their biscuit bowls when they thought a bit of extra topping up was in order. Within a day they were venturing downstairs to bask in the sun and spend more time around us and the dogs. Myles and Toni are great hosts, they kept in touch and told us everything we needed to know, and responded quickly when we had a couple of little questions during our stay. They are really relaxed and found the perfect balance between giving us the information we needed, checking in with us at the start, and trusting us to get on with the responsible job of caring for their lovely and clearly well-loved pets. Their house is modern and comfortable and has a beautiful light-filled kitchen and dining room to prepare food and relax. We had good weather and really enjoyed eating outside on the patio and a daily relaxation session in the hot tub, which was a wonderful bonus. We knew nothing about Bardney beforehand and our hosts provided great information about different places to walk the dogs, and other locations to visit. We were pleasantly surprised to find so many lovely walks on our doorstep, through the local fields and hedgerows, past the site of an old abbey and along the canal. Woodhall Spa made a lovely afternoon out and the retro cinema was a treat. We highly recommend this sit and would love to return ourselves in the not-too-distant future.
Gosia, Michal and their little son are very nice and welcoming people. They are really easygoing, communication was great. Gosia explained everything I needed to know when we met. The neighborhood is really nice very close to the local public transport, shops, parks and the beach. Their apartment is bright and very quiet, it had everything I needed. Lola and Kokos were very adorable and really friendly. Both of them like to play and they like to sleep a lot. Kokos had a way of looking at me with his head tilted to one side like he wanted to say something. He loves to sleep under the blanket or just hide in his box and sleep. Lola likes cuddles and belly rubs and she wants more and more. Gosia and Michal are great hosts! I had a nice time here, The Hague is a great city as well. Thank you!

I can't recommend John and Julia enough. They were most welcoming and really took the time to introduce me to Wilbur and Purdey and to show me the ropes concerning their amazing house which is spacious, beautifully furnished and very hi tech. I had the most amazing stay. Wilbur was up for good long walks and was beautifully behaved on and off the lead. And Purdey just couldn't get enough cuddles. It was a reassurance having Julia's parents just down the road and they were happy to help with any questions. I've done very many sits and this now has to be my all-round favourite to date. I hope to be back but other housesitters should count themselves very lucky if they land a sit with these guys!
We loved every minute of this sit! Trish and Joe are very kind and their home is so beautiful and comfortable with amazing views of Granite Mountains by day and starry skies by night. And it's so quiet and peaceful. It's about 25 miles from downtown Prescott where there are some great restaurants and lots to see and do. That said, apart from one foray into town on our first day to get groceries, we were quite content to spend our entire stay at home with Riley. Riley is such a good boy - very well-trained and easy to care for. He sure likes his walks! We hiked every morning for 3-5 miles and he still had energy left to play frisbie or tuggie. He did nap throughout the day but then, every night like clockwork, he'd put himself to bed. And he'd be out like a light until he woke 8 hours later ready to walk and play again. That's the life of Riley! Overall, I can't imagine a more perfect sit experience. We're hoping we get invited to come back again!
