Our stay with Gay at Eunkyeong's apartment was perfect. Even before we arrived in Quito, the communication with her was clear, honest and trustful. We could ask her for help and tips in Ecuador and she would always be there to support us. Her apartment is in a good neighborhood and the view from the flat is breathtaking. When we arrived, Gay made us feel like home really quickly. She is a lovely cat who likes to play and to cuddle. She is really curious and would often observe us while cooking or doing yoga. Thank you Eunkyeong for the whole experience with you. We hope to see you again in the future.
We had a wonderful time looking after Samson, who truly is a special character! He is the most lovable dog and Connie and Josh weren’t lying when they said everybody in the town knew him! Connie was easy to communicate with and gave us ample information about the house and Samson before the sit. When we arrived, they showed us their wonderful home and where we could access Samson’s things, as well as plenty of tips for places to visit during our stay. A fantastic weekend!
I feel incredibly lucky to have had the experience of housesitting for Christiane and her beautiful family. Christiane invited me to come a little earlier so that she could help familiarise me with the locality and feel confident when driving and this was very helpful. The hospitality and generosity shown to me was exceptional and made me feel so welcome, as when the whole family came to pick me up at the airport and take me back when I left. However, whilst the house and surroundings were first-class and the sights of Bandar Seri Begawan impressive, absolutely the best part of the housesit was looking after Hermann, the sweetest little dog with a really BIG personality. He kept me entertained with his antics and feeling loved with lots of snuggling, and it was a joy to be greeted by him each morning. I feel confident that anyone housesitting for Christiane would also have a wonderful time and I hope that one day I might have the chance to do so again.
Fig & Zig were good as gold - it was a pleasure to look after them for the weekend and stay in Katie’s beautiful apartment. Would be happy to sit for them again and can highly recommend.
Everything was so perfect that we don't even know what to mention first! Mia is an incredibly well behaved, cuddly, fluffy ball of hair that follows you everywhere. Really easy to take care and we fell in love with her whitin the first 5 minutes. She snores like a human but that was a continuous source of laughs for us. Amazing in the car that Christine and Patrick kindly lend us, we took her all around Malta. She would just walk around moving her tail and lay under the table when we were at restaurants. We are going to miss her a lot! Christine and Patrick were all about the details. Communication was amazing, they always answered very quickly and helped us feel like home. They recommended us a lot of places which always were really good. They also left us a very nice bottle of wine so that we could enjoy that beauuuuutiful terrace they have and payed us a night in a hotel (our flight was the day after the sitting was finished), which we are truly thankful for. We don't have anything bad to say about this sitting, it was our first and it was more than perfect.
Charlie is a gorgeous girl and the best housemate I could have asked for. We had a lovely week together and walking her was a meditation - she trots beside you, no pulling, and is friendly and sweet greeting other pups. Our favourite walk was over Stourbridge Common by the river, and Charlie was a big hit in the Green Dragon just over the road from there. She Loves chasing her ball - we played a lot of ball. And she's also a great study buddy - I got some great reading & writing done in the lounge while she sat in her chair and watched the world go by. The house is immaculate and has a long garden and lovely conservatory. Brigette stayed in touch throughout and was lovely to communicate with - she made everything so comfortable and welcoming. There is a beautiful bakery in Arbury Court just a couple minutes from the house called Dorringtons, which does the most amazing baguettes!
