This was such a lovely sit. My son was sad to leave. Sister cats Pixel and Polly are so much fun to take care of. They are affectionate and have big personalities. Polly especially loves to be your shadow and to weave in and out of your legs when you walk downstairs! She is very chatty and loves her food. Pixel loved playing with toys on a string. Both of them enjoyed being brushed. The house is modern, bright and minimalistic yet with all mod cons. Location is just outside of Salisbury centre near to the hospital. Charlie is a wonderful and warm pet parent. Thank you Charlie for the great communication and being so kind.
I had a wonderful time housesitting for Katherine and Steve at their home on picturesque Littlejohn Island. It’s a little piece heaven for nature lovers like myself as there were always deer and turkey doing their daily stroll through the yard. Lola is the absolute sweetest dog and delightful companionship. The proximity to the ocean and the nearby nature paths was probably my favorite part of this sit, taking long walks with Lola everyday. She stays near and is so friendly with other dogs, yet always keeping the local squirrels in their place :) Communication with Katherine was easy, I was left instructions and we had open dialogue as weather events, etc. transpired and she kept me well informed with everything I needed to know. I totally recommend sitting for Lola if you get the opportunity! I will miss her!
Linda and David are wonderful humans. We had the opportunity to arrive one day before they leave to know them, the animals and the house. It was a very warm welcome. David showed us our apartment and the next morning the animal routine. The animals are amazing and calm. Cassie always wants to sleep on your lap, like Poppet. Paynter was sleeping in his bed and Pooch strolling around or looking out of the door. The other cats are mostly outside. We did not imagine that such big dogs can be that cute as they are 🙂 The house itself is a once in a lifetime house with an unbelievable view up to the Pacific. We would love to stay here again for sure.
We had the most incredible sit with Robyn and the family. We fell in love with Maisie, Mali and Henry and Maisie’s brand new 10 puppies. From the very start when we video called Robyn and Justyn, we felt at home. We got along so well and were even a bit sad they weren’t staying at home with us. They organised the best Welcome Pack with everything we needed to know about Crynant and caring for all the pups. We were in contact with Robyn the whole trip, which made things so much easier and helped with any questions throughout our sit. Even went as far as helping us locate a car. Robyn’s mum came and helped us to go collect the car so that the puppies for cared for and safe. The house is just truely stunning and we were so comfortable. We loved hanging out in the snug, sipping wine in the Jacuzzi, having bubble baths and cooking dinners in the lovely kitchen. It was so clean and orderly which helped us to keep it beautiful during our stay. The walking tracks around Crynant were incredible and we really loved the Community Forest! We loved going down to the dog park and meeting other community members and their pups too. All in all, it was truely a wonderful sit and one that we will never forget. We miss the pups already and can’t wait to come back next year. Thank you Tayler family!! Jacquelyne and Arran xx
What a wonderful experience! Nico was the sweetest dog, an old soul happy to receive as much love as could be given to him. The mother cat and her 2 kittens who lived in the garden were a pleasant surprise. Francesca was a super friendly and hospitable host with a beautiful home. I could not have asked for more as an introduction to Puglia. I hope to return one day! Grazie mille!
I loved looking after Coco and Reiki so much! They are the most beautiful and gentle cats and super easy to look after. They both stole my heart but especially Reiki who can be shy with new people but quickly became my sidekick following me everywhere around the flat. Beautiful creatures and beautiful flat.
