Nik has looked after our young sprocker for two week-long stays. We are so glad we found Nik. She takes the dogs on fantastic and varied walks, shares lots of gorgeous photos via her Instagram, and was very understanding of our dog's more teenaged moments. It gave us such peace of mind to know our boy was staying in a home from home, playing with lots of new friends, and having lots of human contact. We would never choose a kennel over this. We highly recommend!

Too many dog w few workers around. We sent our dog for a day boarding. It has a capacity of 50 for overnight and 40 day boarders. There were about 50ish dogs there that day. At the morning drop off, there were two ladies working. When we came for the pickup about 1700, only one lady there. It was really noisy w many dogs barking. My dog probably thought he’s visiting a dog psychiatry for that day, really skittish afterward.

Our little dog waits by the car to go to Niks in the morning, his favourite day of the week. He sleeps for Britain at home the following day- really useful to get office work done. Nik takes them on stellar long walks in all weathers and has an obvious soft spot for the dogs and their ways. Dog has boarded more than once to cover family matters arising. Nik is fantastic!

Took my dog at very short notice and after three day stay I’ve never seen him sleep so soundly. Nik has a lovely set up so I’m sure your dog will have no complaints and would rate the stay 5 stars themselves

Nik truly does care for every dog that she is looking after and takes them on lovely walks. She also gives regular updates on how your pup is getting on. 100% recommend

I had an excellent overnight experience at Blu Collar Boarding with my two dogs (plus Blu the Dalmatian is a lovely companion!). Brilliant value, plus Nik took pictures on the dogs playing on their walks which was a lovely touch - a home from home for doggies!

Wonderful place! Wouldn't consider sending my dog anywhere else now that I've found this gem, he is looked after so well, taken on the best long walks and you can tell he loves going there - thanks ever so much Nik!

We had such a wonderful experience with Yvonne. She looked after our cockapoo Woody so brilliantly and took him on some amazing walks. What was most reassuring for us was that he was so excited to see Yvonne and the other dogs every time we dropped him off (or Yvonne kindly picked him up) and he was always suitably tired (but happy) when he came home again. Yvonne offers a very professional but friendly service and she went above and beyond to accommodate our schedules. We will definitely be using her services again in the future and would highly recommend her business to anyone else in the area.

When I found Yvonne a couple of years ago all my dog-care worries vanished! I was only prepared to leave Peanut with the best, and Yvonne and her family are just that. Yvonne is kind, always ready to help, professional, and flexible, and the dogs quickly become part of this wonderful human and doggy family. Her service is worth every penny. Peanut was clearly loved, and as an older dog Yvonne identified and catered for her needs whether she was there for a day or overnight. Now we have Mimi the puppy, who adores Yvonne and her family, loves running around the beautiful, big, safe garden, and playing with the doggy friends she has made. We were so lucky to happen upon Happy Tails when we moved to Oxford two years ago. Yvonne has been walking and minding Coco regularly since then. She is flexible, reliable and a genuine dog lover. Yvonne has been walking our dog for the last year or so, and we couldn’t be happier with the service she provides. She’s super with animals, and it’s clear she has a real love for them. We were so lucky to find Yvonne - she is reliable, communicative, extremely flexible and most importantly so clearly loves our dog. He eagerly waits by the door the days she takes him out, and the photos she sends us every time prove he’s loving every minute. My one warning is if you are thinking of using Yvonne you must be emotionally strong enough to deal with the fact your dog may love her a tiny bit more than he loves you!!

Our dog Holly adores Yvonne and her lovely family. Yvonne takes her on wonderful walks and Holly always comes back well exercised and happy. She has also stayed overnight very happily with Yvonne. We have found Yvonne to be absolutely reliable and flexible. We are very lucky to have found Happy Tails for Holly!

I can not recommend Happy Tails highly enough. Yvonne is extremely professional dog-manager and my Fox-terrier Paddy absolutely adored both day-care & longer term boarding with she & her family. The location of Happy Tails, on the outer Oxford border, is also idyllic for dogs. There is plenty of free space to run around & Yvonne takes the dogs on long walks & sends back photos showing the activities & adventures. I will be forever grateful for the love & care Happy Tails has given us.

Yvonne is amazing with all dogs. She was always very responsive and Poppy loved going there. She always came home exhausted which is always a good reference to how much she enjoyed herself. Our dalmatian Dolly always has a wonderful time with Yvonne, who is an extremely caring and reliable dog sitter. Dolly can be anxious away from her family, but she always settles very quickly with Yvonne and absolutely loves her big garden and the wonderful long walks. Thoroughly recommended.

We couldn’t ask for a better dog Walker than Yvonne: she communicates brilliantly with us to set up the walks for the week and sends us amazing pictures so we get to see just how much fun our dog Boris has had. No matter the weather Yvonne can be relied on to give your dogs a good walk. Her help whilst we have been working from home and stuck on the phone all day has been a godsend. Couldn’t recommend her more highly.

Our Peggy loves staying with Lorain and her lovely labs at Dog Haven Boarding! Whether it’s a weekend trip or just a daycare session, the dogs are occupied and engaged and get plenty of love and cuddles. We are so glad to have found them as it really has been like a home from home for Peggy, she even knows exactly where she’s going once we turn off at the roundabout and gets all excited in the car! You can tell Lorain really cares for the dogs and gets to know them and all their little quirks to make sure their normal routines aren't disrupted too much. We also get plenty of photo updates which really make us smile! We would recommend Dog Haven Boarding 100%!

We were away for a week, and our energetic furball Rocco had the time of his life with Lorain and his new best friend, Ronnie. Our 3-year-old Golden Retriever was truly receiving top-notch care every step of the way. Having recently moved into this area we are so pleased to have found Dog Haven Boarding. Lorain is so thoughtful and kind and has really helped our dog Oscar to settle and feel at home with her and her other dogs. Lorain and her lovely family look after our highly strung English bulldog every year when we go on our holidays. It’s a home from home for our four legged baby, she loves it. Our Lola is always well cared for and looked after during her stay. Amazing service!

Lorain has looked after my rescue dog who does not warm to people easily. However, the moment he entered Dog Haven he was at ease and instantly loved Lorain (unusual for him). Lorain has looked after my greyhound for the last couple of years and she loves it there. It’s like home from home for her and much less stressful than a traditional kennels. Highly recommend!

We have used Dog Haven Boarding on numerous occasions and it is a god send for our two little fur babies! We were not keen with putting our dogs in kennels, particularly as our little Yorkipoo is very needy, so when we found Lorain and her family offering daycare, overnight stays, including holidays in a home environment we were so pleased. We went for an initial visit to meet Lorain and to see how our dogs would enjoy the stay, and interact with Lorain’s own lovely labradors. It is a clean home, with a good sized, safe enclosed garden for the dogs to play and enjoy the outdoors. They are also taken for walks outside of the house in small groups during daycare on leads, as safety of the dogs is taken seriously. I think this is really important for routine and also provides further stimulation. Photo updates during the day gives reassurance and is a nice touch. After daycare, on collection, both our dogs appear very happy, so we know they have been well looked after whilst in daycare with Lorain and often are very keen to get back into the house when we return. We also used Dog Haven Boarding for our first holiday away since we got the dogs and we were very anxious. Lorain listened to our requirements and met all the needs for our dogs whilst we were away. So it was easy to enjoy our time away without worrying about the dogs. Again the photo and video updates really helped us to stay relaxed and not worry so much. Lorain is very approachable and has a lovely manner. She often responds at short notice and she is totally amazing with our dogs. If you are considering a home environment for daycare or whilst you are on holiday, I would highly recommend using Dog Haven Boarding!

I can't recommend Lorain highly enough. She clearly loves dogs, and they clearly love being with her - dog people will understand what this means. I always used to feel guilty going on holiday and taking my black lab to kennels. Not any more. As soon as we are near Dog Haven he knows exactly where he is and is visibly excited and happy. Loraine sends through regularly updates during the stay and I'm always happy knowing that our dog is being well cared for.

My two dogs were instantly at ease with Lorain, as was I. She has the loveliest manner with dogs, and I felt very happy to leave my boys with her. They came back happy and tired. When we went for our second visit, they could not wait to get back through her door! I am delighted I have found Lorain , and we will now be regular visitors.

Our black lab loves going twice a week and he is treated like a member of the family. We cannot recommend it highly enough. A fantastic friendly service where the wellbeing of the dog is taken very seriously. First class and much appreciated....thank you.

This is a wonderful company run by a wonderful person. I can’t thank Alex enough for the flexibility she has given us with our dog Pep. Pep always stampedes her way into the house of the carer, Sue. Alex always goes above and beyond to make sure everything goes well. There’s loads of reviews on their website but I thought I should put one here. They’re a great outfit.

Our dog visits Cumnor Dog Lodge weekly for daycare and also used the boarding service occasionally over the last few years. Always had a great experience, and dogs have plenty of space to run around and play. It is easy to reach out to the owner, who is always happy to provide updates and pictures of our furry friend. Marc is very experienced with animals. Our dog is always excited to visit Cumnor and returns home very happy and tired after.

It's nice seeing a few animals around the area, and it's generally nice to walk, no dogs needed. There's a spot with a great view around the place.

There aren't many people I'd gladly leave my dogs with all day, but Mark has a wonderful garden/compound where the pups can run free and have fun, along with day beds in the shade and an indoor area.

There are NO photos of the dogs overnight boarding rooms. A proper dog lover would not let a dog stay in a place that does not show what the dogs accommodation is like!!!!! I'm shocked at the stars given when there are no photos of the dogs accommodation which should matter to a real dog lover!!!!!!

My dog goes every day, Marc is very good with all his charges. My dog enjoys goes there and mixing with his friends.

Our dog loves it there great for day visitors and over nights.

Well the guinea pig came home alive so will definitely use again. Joke a side, I rang on the Saturday and managed to get booked in for the Monday for 8 days. they were very welcoming, the radio was on for all the small animals they were looking after and very clean.

Always worry about places like this, but this is like the perfect little place for your small babies. We left 3 rats here, they were safe, happy and I think they got treated better than they would at home!

Oxford Small Pet Boarding did a fantastic job looking after my daughters Conure while we had 2 weeks holiday in the summer. Their communication is excellent, they answered all our questions, let us visit in advance and nothing was to much trouble. They are easy to get to, once you find them, and the animals are kept in a clean and secure unit. Conrad was very happy there and his cage was spotless when we collected him, in fact he sulked at being back he was so well looked after! Their prices are very reasonable too. I highly recommend them, and hope they won't be too full in future to have our bird back!!

Oxford Small Pet Boarding is a brilliant board, Megan and her husband are lovely and welcoming. Completely put us at ease when we dropped our bunny off. Lovingly looked after and given time to run around, our bunny was very happy staying here and she's come back happier than ever and probably missing the grass under her paws! I'll definitely be using Oxford Small Pet Boarding again especially as it's such great value for money. You can see they have a passion for making sure your pet has the best time. Home away from home!

Absolutely delighted with the care my 2 guinea pigs enjoyed on the several occasions we have left them here. Lovely clean cages and all care personalised. Megan loves her little furry guests and treats them as if they are her own. Can't recommend highly enough.

We have left our two guinea pigs here a couple of times and are really happy with the care they have received. Megan was happy for me to come and check the place out beforehand and was very knowledgeable answering all my questions (as guinea pigs are fragile). We now refer to it as the guinea pig spa!

I am so pleased to have found Oxford Small Pet Boarding. My four ducks recently enjoyed a week being looked after by Megan. They had a super run and duck house and Megan looked after them all with such care and attention. Nothing was too much trouble. Excellent communication with customers. Highly recommend.

I've used this service twice and been thoroughly impressed both times. For two male guinea pigs, the cage size was great, and they came home looking well fed and happy. Drop-off and pick-up also couldn't have been any easier and the option to leave behind transport cages/boxes behind is a bonus.

Meg took wonderful care of my daughters' two pet rabbits. It was lovely to relax on holiday knowing that they were in safe hands and also that she ensured that they had outdoor time running around and not cooped up in a cage.

I am delighted with the services we receive from Pixie Lee Pet Services. Lee walks my dog twice a week, shares photos and videos and it is great to see that all of the dogs have such a great time. It is challenging to put our trust in someone else when it comes to the welfare of our furry friends, but I am so happy to have found Lee and I feel very comfortable and completely trust her to look after my dog each time she takes him out.

Hi my name is Ariel and I am a very demanding cat. Lee looks after me when my mum is away and she is really good! She plays with me and she walk me out (unless it’s raining and in that case she cuddles me!). My mum is really happy with the care provided and she would recommend her to anyone who would ever need a trustful person to look after their beloved animals!

Lee has been an incredible help since we adopted Basil, our retired greyhound. She has made it possible for a working couple to keep their dog happy and healthy; Basil clearly loves her. Lee has been flexible with regards to walking arrangements and has always proved reliable. She clearly cares for the animals she looks after and had proved really helpful in monitoring any health concerns we had about Basil. Pixie Lee Pet Services are amazing! We were a bit nervous to send off our pup at first but needn't be at all. Our dog absolutely loves Lee and the other dogs and we feel safe, and happy to send him off with her. We have used Sarah regularly (several times a week) for over a year to walk our two terriers. She has been reliable and professional throughout this time. She understands our dogs different needs and reports back if anything is not right - one of our dogs is elderly, doesn’t like the heat and can have good and bad days. Sarah meets her needs and works with what each day brings!

Sarah has been taking my two dogs out for walks, generally at least 3 days per week, for about 18 months now, they love their walks with Sarah, on the odd occasion that I am home when she arrives I see how excited they are to see her! She is really conscientious, on wet days she makes sure to towel dry them when dropping them back home & always makes sure they have clean water after their walks. She is really flexible, often taking them out with very short notice! I highly recommend Sarah!!

Sarah is amazing! She is a real dog person, professional, knowledgeable, and adaptable. We would have anyone else looking after our dog, who she has looked after since he was a puppy. She has a background as a veterinary nurse, and cares for other animals on her farm. Our dog cannot wait to leave when she comes to collect him, and he loves staying with when we are away.

Sarah is amazing. She really does deliver a professional service. We have two ex-hunting rescue dogs who are lovely but both have their quirks - she looks after them brilliantly and they absolutely adore their time with her. She's walked them regularly for the past year and even brings some of her dogs over for "play dates" so that ours can have some doggie social fun in a safe setting at home. She's mega reliable, super professional and always gets back to you promptly. She has even helped us out when we've been stuck and has generally been a godsend. I am v picky with who looks after our two boys, but will happily recommend her 100%. If you are at all thinking of getting any help with looking after any of your pets then she is definitely the answer!

Have recently started sending our 20 month old pup to Sarah for extra socialisation and some additional training around livestock and we couldn't be happier. Sarah was recommended to us by a friend, has great general knowledge of dogs as well as being a trained vetinary nurse gives us absolute faith our dog is in good hands for the day. Seen a great improvement in her already and would not hesitate to recommend.

I have a weekly walk and check up done on the days I'm at work and GEORGE has never been happier. Maliha has been walking our greyhound Jazz for nearly 6 months and we are very lucky to have her as our dog walker. Maliha has been walking our elderly dog Sage for a year and a half now. She's almost part of the family at this point, and Sage is very excited when she comes to pick her up! She's also met our very unsociable cat Archie and she keeps an eye on him when we're away. Maliha is reliable and trustworthy and we feel lucky that we met her! :)

Maliha came highly recommended to me and has been walking Mabel for the last few months. Maliha has very quickly built a great trusting relationship with both us and Mabel. Pet Fetch is a very reliable and friendly service. They are professional, trustworthy and our dog really enjoys his visits and walks. They quickly built up a great bond with our dog who absolutely adores his walker. The update pictures we receive on every visit are a real highlight to a great service!

Have used Jackie for 4 years now, both for dog walking three days a week, and for boarding. She has never let us down and Luna loves her to bits. A long time she also looked after our rabbits and they came back better behaved than when we dropped them off!!

Jackie has looked after our two cats whenever we have been away during the last two years. Both are elderly cats requiring daily medication, and Jackie has never let them down. She has made herself available even at very short notice and I can honestly say I don't know what we'd do without her. Highly recommended.

Jackie has looked after our Labrador Mac since he was a puppy 3 years ago. In the initial stages Jackie provided us with sound advice on how to train Mac with his walking and with general house behaviour. She regularly walks Mac and he is more than happy to stay at hers every so often when we go on holiday. Jackie has looked after our rabbit Mary Lou on a number of occasions now and we really couldn't imagine anyone looking after her as well as Jackie has. Mary Lou always comes back to us in great condition, happy and healthy. Jackie is incredibly personable and clearly loves the animals in her care as much as their owners. Furthermore, Jackie has gone above and beyond for us and really got us out of a tight spot. After Christmas, I had booked a taxi to take me to collect Mary Lou but the estate was not big enough for her cage. Jackie instead delivered the cage back to us, following in her van. Really above and beyond. In my experience, Jackie gives exemplary service and I couldn't imagine leaving our pet with anyone else.

I couldn't recommend Jackie highly enough. She has walked our dog Molly for about 3-4 years and has always, from day 1, taken great care of her. Molly seems to know when Jackie is coming and always waits expectantly, going off with her without a look back! Jackie has been extremely flexible and always managed to help out even at the 11th hour. There needs to be a Holiday Ark in every county!

Holiday Ark provides a fantastic service, Jackie is very professional, thorough and reliable, and genuinely cares about the animals she looks after. I have absolutely no reservations about leaving our cat in her capable hands. The client-consultations she undertakes a week or so before the visits commence offer both sides an opportunity to ensure absolute everything is covered and agreed in advance, although she has always been very accommodating even when we've needed to add extras in, change dates etc after the consultation. It is such a relief for us to know our boy is being properly cared for by a warm and friendly human when we're away on a well-earned holiday - we don't need to stress about him at all!

Jackie is a brilliant walker. She has looked after our dog since a little pup and is always reliable and friendly. Our dog loves his walks with her!

I have been using the services of Holiday Ark since it's inception 5 years ago. Our family had just got a very lively Viszla puppy, Ruby, and we needed somebody to help with walks, AND to continue the training needed for such a strong minded breed. Jackie and the team did that without question, and helped us get through that first year of dog ownership. We regularly send our dog to the Ark for day care and sleep overs, which she loves. Ruby loves being in the company of Max and the other regular dogs visiting the Ark, and it is great to see her interact with her doggie friends when out walking. All in all I find Jackie's service to be flexible, efficient and very good value.

Rudy had a fabulous stay at Pet Whisperers hotel for 11 nights. We had regular updates, videos and pictures of our Boy, all were really appreciated! We could relax knowing that our boy was well looked after and constantly stimulated during the day, tired and comfortable during the night. We would recommend Pet Whisperers to take care of your four legged family member while you are on holiday.

Oxford Pet Whisperers are an exceptional team of caring and dedicated professionals whom I completely trust with our puppy. The heartwarming videos they share on Instagram always brighten my day, showing all the happy dogs playing and enjoying themselves. They provide a wide range of activities and enrichment experiences, and you can even book additional services like baths, tail trims, and full grooming. Amber absolutely loves her time with them and has grown so much more confident since she started attending. I would highly recommend Oxford Pet Whisperers to anyone looking to enhance their puppy’s socialisation. Or to anyone needing day care facilities due to work schedules.

Our golden retriever Ella is a regular daycare visitor and this year we tried the doggy hotel facilities for the first time. It gave us peace of mind as we knew she will be comfortable knowing all staff and environment, and she absolutely loved it, I don't think she was very impressed when we turned up to pick her up 5 days later, she wanted to carry on with the fun! We had a couple of updates on how she is getting on which was lovely to have. And you can see what your pup is up to during the days on Instagram account. Would definitely recommend this over regular kennels!

Lovely introduction. The business has an amazing concept with everything to make the dogs and the owners happy. So much space and all is clean and safe. Even the air gets filtered. My dog didn't want to come with me home after 30 minutes there.

once again Oxford pet whisperer have outdone themselves my little baby Frenchie had the time of his life actually came back with some extra manners. They also managed to squeeze me in a short note as I had to go away thank you very much for everything you’ve done.

We booked our dog in for a puppy groom last year. We looked online and saw that it was going to cost £10 but were surprised by hidden charges and ended up paying around £35-£40. The female groomer was not friendly towards our dog and did not even ask for his name, then was rude when we arrived back a few minutes late to collect him. He did not look well groomed and certainly did not look happy in his post groom photo (see pic). Upon returning home we found out why as the groomer had cut him under the eye and did not tell us. It looked like she had just washed the wound and covered it up. Luckily it did not become infected. We were very displeased and frankly disgusted with the service but due to other factors in life getting in the way at the time we never reached out to Oxford Pet Whisperers, hence the late review. We would certainly not return nor recommend their services to anyone else.

From the start, they have been very accommodating, professional and so friendly! We love the amount of time our pup gets to play and socialise with her friends as well as the first week report card and ongoing photos we can see on social media during her visits! A really well-run and dog centric business who we will be sure to continue to use 👍🏻

All I can say is that this company provides a fantastic service - my 16 week Frenchie had the time of his life playing and mixing with the other dog and staff. thanks for all the support and kindness you gave to my little boy.

Thank you so much for another fabulous groom on Friday. The family commented on how silky soft his coat was and he smelt fabulous. Teddy is so happy at OPW he goes off happily and comes home content and in need of a good long snooze. Having a bath/groom at OPW is a must, especially if the children/grandchildren are home for the weekend as Teddy looks and smells great. Roll on his Christmas groom . Couldn’t recommend highly enough! Jamie, Natalie and the team are amazing. I’ve been sending my dog Cooper to oxford pet whisperers for a year and a half now since he was a puppy and I wouldn’t dream of using any other daycare/dog walking service. They are experts in their field and take such good care of Cooper. He comes home tired out for the evening after a day at daycare and as soon as I turn the corner in to the car park to drop him off, he gets so excited! The pick up and play service is great too as it allows me to be a lot more flexible with work! The daily updates on Instagram are fantastic as it allows you to see what your dogs been getting up to in the day. Couldn’t give a more glowing review ⭐️
