I enjoyed looking after Leah's cats, her mum's two dogs and fish for a long weekend. Leah's house is very peaceful and spacious and I enjoyed some nice walks in the local area. I was easily able to reach the sit by train and walking. Would have no hesitation in recommending sitting for Leah.
Marley and Max are the most easy going and loveable pets! This was such a wonderful stay.
Had a great sit! Killi, Stuart and the kids gave me a warm welcome when I arrived and showed me around their beautiful house. Crumble is a very sweet dog who loves your attention and likes to hang out with you. The house is a beautiful walk away from the beautiful center of Lavenham which is great to visit. Sandy and Wotsit are two beautiful and sweet cats that are independent and love to cuddle at the same time. The chickens offer you a daily egg which you can find in their chicken villa. Loved sitting Nemo in Karen’s friendly, clean and fun house. Nemo was a lovely boy, very affectionate and well behaved. Loves lots of long walks around the beautiful surrounding areas. The house was left spotless and is very nice to spend time in. Look forward to looking after Nemo again!

This review is your sign to apply to sit there !!! We had 3 lovely weeks in Lucan and you shoud too !!! This was our first sit and the experience was so so amazing ! We applied for the sit 4 days before the D day because the sitters who were supposed to come had to decline. That was our first experience and we had an idea about what to expect thanks to the reviews. Before we came, we had a video call with Sonia, her daughter Rachel and Harvey ( Rachel’s dog ), we quickly had a good feeling, probably because of their smiles !!! Rachel told us we could come a day before and eventually leave a day or two after if the flights were less expensive and this is what we did ! That was so nice of them to have this good behaviour… When we arrived, Sonia came to pick us at the airport ( 20 minutes away from her house ), she would explain us everything we could see on the road and that was lovely ! We had a walk with Oscar and Harvey before we ate the super dinner Sonia cooked for us ! Alice, her grand daughter joined us and we had a LOVELY time ! Oscar is a very friendly and calm dog, he would follow us everywhere ! He loved sleeping around us when we would watch tv and watch us when we cooked ( maybe he expected a treat ! ). He’s a big dog but doesn’t pull when you take him for a walk ( except if he sees a cat or smells food but he does just a little ) and he always waited for Damien when he was behind. He loves playing in the park ( 7 minutes away from Sonia’s house ) and would always give the ball to Harvey !! We also cared about Harvey when Rachel was at work, but every time she was there, she proposed us to have both dogs so we could have free time to enjoy Lucan, Dublin or wherever ! That was so so nice of her, thank you !!! Harvey is more active than oscar ( probably because he’s only 2 ) and he is very lovely. We spent less time with him but we loved so much thoses moments because he’s very nice and he brought more and more love in the house. Just as Oscar, he would always have something in his mouth and that was so cute because they would both come to us to show us and then they switched ! It was so funny because it could be a plush but also shoes or socks !!! We felt home at Sonia’s house very quickly. She has a LOVELY house that has everything you could need. It’s a luminous house with a great decoration that we really loved !! Her house is 20 minutes walk to a supermarket ( SuperValu and more ), 5 minutes to a beautiful park, 30 minutes from the center ( Lucan Village ) and 3 minutes from Rachel’s house ! We had the chance to get to know more about Sonia’s family and we will never forget about them, they have a place in our heart. We couldn’t imagine the way they would treat us, we felt like family to them. Everyone treated us with respect and love. We shared several dinners together ( Rachel is a very good chef!! ) and we just had AMAZING MOMENTS with them. They always showed kindness and patience… They helped us when we had a problem with hot water, lended us bikes to visit the surroundings, told us the places and restaurants to go to, asked if we needed stuff at the supermarket… The last day, Sonia took us to visit Castletown with Oscar and we loved so much the nature. We were so happy to spend this time with her because she is just so kind and everything she did for us was with her heart, just as her family did. They are all good people and you can just see it… They are very open minded and we never felt juged or anything. I could write more and more to explain it but to summarize, we had a new family across the atlantic sea and we will meet again for sure ! They will always be welcome in our house :) Thank you Sonia, Rachel, David, Alice, Isaac, Oscar and Harvey !!! I don't know if we will ever have a better sit than this one !! See you soon
