Gwyn and Tina were very friendly and perfect hosts. They provided very clear and frequent communication from the very start and we received a very warm welcome on arrival. We absolutely loved staying in their beautiful home set in the lovely Berkshire countryside. It was a pleasure to look after their gorgeous Pickle, she is such a lovely cat. She loved a fuss and settled on our laps in the evenings. Local shops and pubs are less than a 5 minute drive away and there is a lovely Indian restaurant in the local village from which we had a takeaway from. Plenty of countryside walks around the area too. We had everything we needed for a really comfortable and enjoyable stay, thank you so much Gwyn and Tina for a lovely sit. We would not hesitate to recommend this sit and would happily stay again.
Two Cats and a Lady! That’s the title of this wonderful housesit review. Arlo and Xena were two of the most friendly and affectionate cats that I could have asked for during my time in the heart of the Motor City. And with close proximity to Downtown, the stadiums, museums, and plenty of restaurants, there was a lot to choose from. The home was warm and inviting, as well as comfortable. And Matt and Rachel were very accommodating hosts with helpful suggestions during my stay. I’ve always thought of myself as a surrogate Dog Mom but now after sitting with these two sweet cats, I’m also a proud Cat Auntie. I hope to have another chance to sit for Arlo and Xena one day! We just left Sue and Alex's house and we already miss Max and Daisy! We spent wonderful days in the company of the dogs, they are very polite and obedient. The house is spectacular, well located, and has a breathtaking backyard, needless to say that we love everything, right? They welcomed us for a wonderful dinner, made us feel comfortable, we felt at home! We would like to return at another time! Thank you so much Sue and Alex for welcoming us so well, and trying hard to understand our bad English.
We had a fantastic sit at Nigel’s. The house was so comfortable, in a lovely village and we couldn’t have been happier. Tally was so friendly and affectionate. She is a low maintenance cat but certainly enjoyed our company when we spent the day at home. We would leap at the chance to house sit for Nigel again!!
We so much loved to sit with Mo and Tucker! They are so cute, and we had a great time with them. We enjoyed taking Mo to the beach, he is such a good swimmer, and he is so intelligent. Tucker was a bit shy at first, but in a couple of days we became friends, and we loved to spend evenings petting him on the lap and listening to his purr. The house is charming, with a beautiful garden. And Rebecca was easy to communicate with and very helpful. It was a great experience for us and we are already missing guys.
Benny is such a sweet, gorgeous, big and fluffy dog with a gentle nature. Mena is full of character and loves to cuddle up whilst charming you with her pretty blue eyes. Mandy's cosy cottage is near some lovely walks and Benny is more than capable of joining you on them. We spent many days exploring the area together. He especially likes it if you go via the big ponds so he can have a swim. Mandy was great at keeping in contact with us despite it was a extremely busy period for her and we did a handover with a previous house sitters. Any questions we had she would promptly respond. We are happily looking forward to spending more time with Benny and Mena at Mandy's home.. a delightful duo.
