Rebekah and Coco were so great to work with!! The house was wonderful. In a cute little town and the complex has a pool. Coco has a little patio to go to the bathroom if she absolutely needs to but loves to go on walks! We were able to explore and she came with us everywhere. She was so great to sit outside and loved to walk around Raleigh and Southern Pines. The house was wonderful, super luxurious. Coco has separation anxiety so we did not like to leave her alone but she was so great to hang out with. Was like a little cat under the bed. We would definitely sit again
Freya is a sweet, accommodating and well behaved dog who loves to snuggle and play after noon. She is a beauty. Throughout the day she lounged/napped quietly around the house. We threw the ball at the park at least once a day. Her build, just like her personality, is very strong, so when excited, she can pull at her leash a bit. Alex and Stephanie are intelligent, kind, and friendly just like Freya. They responded to each of my messages from across the globe with impressive speed which was helpful and appreciated. I enjoyed getting to know them and how personable this experience was. Their apartment is craft and comfortable with a nice balcony. I had a wonderful time and would highly recommend this housesit!!
I loved my weekend with Nina and Maxi. They are great dogs and so easy going! Conny was great to work with and the home clean with everything you need for a comfortable stay. I highly recommend staying here!
We’ve been sitting for Winston for 5 days. It was a totally lovely experience! Winston is a sweet boy, we enjoyed taking him on walks. Many people couldn’t pass by, but would stop and ask permission to cuddle him or make a photo with him. It was not hard, but pleasantly to take care of Winston. After returning home I open our photos with Winston and immediately start smiling, because of all warm memories of time with him. Once we were leaving the house to walk him, we couldn’t return fast, because we fell in love not only with the dog, but also with the neighborhood, so we would walk and walk around, being amazed by the architecture and nature. It felt like Europe in the USA. The most excited was the WashU campuses area in just 10 minutes walking distance. On Sunday I also went to the church on Delmar Loop in an old Tivoli theatre building - it was cool to see the theatre from inside, and the location in just 5 minutes walking from home was amazing! I also arranged a meeting with a friend of mine in one of many coffee shops on Delmar Loop, and it was so close from home, I loved it. My birthday was during this sit, so Anna and Richard allowed me to have guests for a celebration. Everybody fell in love with Winston and the house, it was a really delightful birthday with friends near the fireplace. The house is great! It felt so cozy to sit near the fireplace in the mornings and evenings. I loved to sit there while feeding my 2-months baby. Winston would come and stay near us the whole time. He definitely likes company. And he was very nice with a baby. The kitchen was also comfortable to use. It is big and has all the needed amenities for cooking. We liked cooking there so much, that we even cooked a lot of soup and meat in advance and froze it for our future use back home. Anna and Richard allowed us to use food from their food pantry, which was very nice, because we didn’t need to bring our own oils, oats or tea. They also prepared a huge shampoo in bathroom for us, and even left a nice gift in our room. It’s not our first THS sit, but their hospitality exceeded all our expectations. Anna and Richard are precious. They communicated all our responsibilities pretty clearly, showed the house and neighborhood, as well as left a handbook with all contacts and details. I hope we will come to sit for them in the future again. If you have a chance to do it - don’t hesitate to apply, it’s totally worth it, you will get a beautiful experience.
I had a great time staying in Kenmore with Ninja. Karon and John made me feel very welcome when I arrived and showed me everything I needed to know and left contact numbers if needed. Ninja is such a lovely cat and so easy to look after, he liked to come and sit beside me when I was working, and would sleep at the bottom of the bed at night. He liked to get out and go for a wander outside for a little while during the day but would come back no problem. The house was lovely and so comfortable and the area round about is beautiful with plenty of nice walks. I felt very relaxed and refreshed after spending 2 weeks there!
Roxanne is a lovely person with a stunning home in a very nice part of San Diego. She met with us the day before and was welcoming and thorough in her instructions. The sit is low maintenance as it's in a complex with trash chutes and recycling bins are the responsibility of the building managers and staff. So your one job will be caring for Cayenne, who is a beautiful Belgian Malinois. Cayenne is a rescue and has anxiety some days...she just wants to be respected, cared for, and loved. We shed a tear when we left, we loved Cayenne so much. I'd thoroughly recommend this sitting opportunity.
