Cat Sitters in Oyster Bay

Rebecca and Richard were excellent house and pet sitters in every way, doing everything I would have expected and more. They took great care of Tilly, looked after the house and gardens and did extra things - Rebecca cooked a great meal on their arrival to share with me and a brownie slice which was waiting on my return to the house. Richard mowed the lawns while I was away. They were punctual, reliable and communicative, sending pictures of Tilly out on walks almost every day. They took Tilly, my 3.5 year old labradoodle, for walks every day, and my neighbours commented that they could see how well she was looked after. I'm lucky to live where I do and I like to have others who stay appreciate the amazing environment and community here. Rebecca and Richard certainly did this. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Anne and Tony were ideal house sitters, very organised, helpful, friendly and empathetic. They are great dog people and quickly gained the trust of my young and energetic Welsh Springer Spaniel which is not easy! They communicated regularly through the stay, sending reassuring photos each day. They left my place in an immaculate condition with some lovely hand written notes about their stay. 100% recommend Ann!

Jonathan and Mariana have now looked after my cats twice and both times they have been 5* sitters. They take excellent care of the cats and my apartment, leaving it spotless both times. Throughout the stays they kept me up to date on the cats and were very communicative and flexible during check in / check out. I wouldn’t hesitate to have them sit again.

Lauren is a lovely and bubbly lady who loves animals and took care of our little girl very well. We wish her safe travels.

Abbie cared for Zeno extremely well and also looked after the house well. It was very clean and tidy for our return. She kept in touch about how Zeno was doing.

Sue sat for us the week before Christmas. She looked after our dog Scooby Doo and cat Eastie. Both have reported a positive experience

Amy was very friendly and personable! The house-sitting experience was not our best due to a lack of communication and an unfortunate situation with Amy getting locking herself out of the house at night, which wasn't able to be resolved immediately. Regarding communication: We didn't hear from Amy during the sit, so we sent a message on the 5th day to check in on the cats and she responded with an update and a picture, which was nice to hear and see. I think we would've liked more updates during the 9 day sit because we have two senior cats (one that we have to keep an eye on for health reasons, who was having trouble eating and finishing her food) so we were a bit worried while we were away, but maybe we weren't clear with Amy about our expectations. The next message we got was on the 9th day of the sit and it was informing us that Amy had locked herself out of the house that night and left the keys inside. We tried to call her multiple times immediately after receiving the message, but she didn't pick up. We wanted her to check for the spare key, but we couldn't reach her. We were quite worried by this point as our senior kitties would be home alone overnight, though Amy let us know they had dinner, so at least they wouldn't be hungry. It was late night, but she called back about an hour later, apologised for missing our calls, and said she was already at a friend's house so she couldn't go back to the house and check until morning time. In the morning, she went back to the house and couldn't get to the spare key, so we had to pay for a locksmith to come over and pick the lock for her to get back into the house and to check on the cats. That wasn't a great experience for us as we were quite worried about the cats, but Amy was nice enough to stay until dinner time since my husband's flight home was delayed, so that was helpful.

Megan and Felix did a wonderful job looking after our two cats. They gave regular updates and left our house neat and tidy.

Brittany was a wonderful pet / house sitter. I arrived home and everything was very tidy and Skye was a happy girl! Britt took excellent care of Skye and took her on many adventures. When I picked Britt up, Skye took to her straight away. This was the longest that we have been away and it could not have gone better. Britt sent us updates and was in contact daily. She is very thoughtful, bringing a lovely tea towel from Australia and leaving very nice cards and tea. I highly recommend Britt and would gladly welcome her back anytime! Thank you Britt for taking such wonderful care of Skye!

Niamh was an amazing housesitter. I'm so sorry to see her go. She was just great with the dog and I'm sure my sooky Labradoodle is now depressed that she's gone. The fact that Niamh is a qualified Vet is a bonus. Apart from that, she's the nicest person and so easy to live with that I invited her to stay a few more days until her next housesit. She just fitted in with everything and on the night I returned, she had cooked a hot dinner so that was a lovely surprise. The dog and I will miss having her around and we wish her all the best in her future travels. I wouldn't hesitate to have Niamh back again if she were on the Gold Coast in the future.

Amazing communication while we were away. Our boys were very happy and healthy when we got home and The house was left extremely tidy! Would abolsoluty recommend Harry and Cecilia!
