I had a wonderful time pet sitting for Karissa's pups! They are the sweetest dogs, and the house is very comfortable. I was working remotely while there so spent a lot of time in the home. The back yard was perfect. I also enjoyed the neighborhood, and would come back anytime. One of my top favorite sits for sure. :)
It was a pleasure to care for Izzy! She is a very affectionate and chatty kitty that loves to be close to you. Ashley's home is very well equipped. Everything you may want or need is either in her beautiful home or within a short drive. Ashley is kind and always available for all communication. I would highly recommend this sit!
This was our first housesit on the site and we couldn't have been any luckier. Roger and Jenny are a great couple, so friendly and welcoming from the first point of contact, they made us feel like lifelong friends. Rupert and Ollie are simply adorable, both have so much love to give and each with plenty of character of their own. We enjoyed taking Rupert out in the car, he travels so well and happy to go anywhere with you. There are local walks too though, so car walks aren't essential for him to have a good time. Oliver is always happy to see you too and he does love a brush, he purrs continuously. A beautiful house in a quiet village just added to this ideal sit too.
Rich and I loved this house sit, from the kindness and generosity of the homeowners to the sweetness of Hoshi and the beauty of the house and surrounding area. Barbara and Patrick provided excellent instructions on Hoshi’s care (she is one easy kitty!), as well as details that made it easy to use the home’s many amenities. They took time to go over it with us before leaving for their trip and were easy to communicate with throughout the stay. The patio and deck were wonderful spots to appreciate Marin’s weather and views, and the plantings throughout the property provided both beauty and privacy. We took advantage of the many local happenings, from farmers markets with live music to amazing sunsets and beautiful coastlines. Can’t recommend this sit highly enough; thank you, Barbara, Patrick and Hoshi!
We enjoyed a week with Milou, Toby, and Bruno! Riikka and Ricardo welcomed us to the house and had everything prepared for us to settle in easily. They were also flexible with our departure arrangements. Our experience with the three dogs was wonderful. Milou is very intelligent and enjoys sniffing everything during walks. Toby is a sensitive and affectionate dog. And Bruno is a fearful and nervous dog around strangers but becomes very loving once given time. We recommend future sitters to be patient and not force interactions with Bruno. He is harmless, but it's better to let him take the lead in approaching you (he'll be your best friend in two days). There won't be any issues with taking him for walks as he'll be too excited since he loves that time. Otherwise, they are calm dogs at home. The house is spacious, cool, and filled with natural light, which is perfect for the local weather. Riikka and her family made sure we felt comfortable and gave us clear instructions before leaving, which we appreciate. Thank you so much for everything!
