We recently had Pascale stay at our home for four nights to take care of our pup, Denali. From the outset, Pascale was kind and it was evident that she genuinely cares for animals, which gave us peace of mind while we were away. However, there were a few challenges during her stay that prevent us from giving a full five-star rating. Firstly, we had some communication issues before the start of her stay regarding arrival and departure times. Despite originally saying she could take Denali out before heading to evening events on her arrival day, she later told us that she could no longer do so at the last minute. Pascale also informed us of a departure change right before we left, which left us scrambling to make alternative arrangements on short notice. Second, she lost our house keys during her time with us, necessitating getting her access to another set (fortunately, the lost set got turned into our super). Third, there was an instance where Denali was left alone for over 10 hours, despite a previous explicit discussion about the appropriate length of time away from Denali, where we had indicated 8 hours was the limit to ensure no accidents. While Pascale’s kindness and love for Denali are commendable, these issues highlighted some areas where communication and reliability could be improved. We appreciate her efforts and care for our dog, but future pet owners might want to discuss these aspects to ensure a smooth experience for everyone involved.

It was an excellent cat-retreat! All family is wonderful - cats and the pet parents. Wilf and Bernard are very easy cats, smart, gentle, understanding and behaved like angels 🙂 both have adorable characters! It was the first time for me when I spent several days with the black cats and they are absolutely fantastic! First time in my life I saw kitties who enjoy water SO much! Lol! Alisha and Tom are so friendly and well organized - it was very kind to leave the notes around the house in addition to the Welcome Guide. Also, they are hospitable and attentive hosts, took care of all the details when I arrived so I felt welcome during my stay. Location is great, too. I’d be happy to come back and curious if the boys start swimming soon - they’d like their own cat swimming pool! :) :)
Wishing you all the best Alisha and Tom, and lots of love, joy and prosperity to your wonderful family Xx

Kody the dog is very well behaved, affectionate, quiet, food motivated, and playful. He was a joy to care for. Jan’s home is lovely, spacious, comfortable, well organized, arty, with spectacular views. Communication was easy, everything went very smoothly. Highly recommended!!

It was an absolute honour to housesit for Matt and Kattie. I'm beyond grateful for their generosity, trust and thoughtfulness.
Tenley is the sweetest dog ever, I'm already getting emotional writing this... I don't like that I can't have all the lovely dogs in the world! But anyway, I thank THS for existing.
The flat is stunning, the area is super interesting, and the views are truly breathtaking. If you are lucky enough to get a chance to housesit for them, don't hesitate.

Lenny is a lovely dog. Well trained and calm. Antonia was a wonderful host. She prepared everything for my arrival and explained the details of my stay. The communication during my stay was also excellent; she was very responsive through WhatsApp and assisted me with all my doubts and problems. I definitely recommend this sit. :)

Donna and Ross are such a warm and welcoming couple! I stayed the night before they left so that I was familiar with taking care of all their pets. They shared a delicious dinner on the deck with me and we laughed about our many travel stories.

Their property is beautiful and a true oasis of calm!

Their three dogs are best of friends and it was amusing watching them play together. Their cats happily minded their own business (aside from pawing at me when they wanted to be fed 😅).

Anyone who has the ability to stay here is in for a treat!
