This was THE most wonderful sit I’ve had to date. If I could leave 10 stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Then I would.
I’ll begin with Coco and Lexi. 2 amazing Portugese Water Dogs. They both are the most loving, delightful, well behaved, loving, cute girls. Lexi is always to heal. Coco on the other hand, should you let her off lead, is away out of site almost immediately. Lexi will follow. During my wonderful 3 weeks sit, Lexi did respond to call back, albeit, it can be 4-6 minutes. Do however take your instructions from the hosts, Michelle and Peter regarding Coco off lead. Following each walk, as the weather was very wet, Coco and Lexi know that there’s a quick shower down before re-entering home. They are both as good as gold in this respect. Warm water hose right next door to the door. During the day, as most dogs, they are chilled, relaxing, or sleeping. Never far from your side. When you retire to bed, and they’ve had their last outside ‘moment’ they are happy to be kept in the kitchen/ diner on their bed until you wake up in the morning. All in all they are amazing.
Turning now to both the hosts Michelle and Peter and their home. Michelle and Peter could not have been more welcoming. The communication throughout was excellent despite a 12 hour time difference. Their home is amazing. It was spotlessly clean, my bedroom was beautifully prepared, bathroom also. Very comfortable bed. Their home has everything a sitter could wish for. The views across the golf course, directly accessed via their back garden gate are fantastic. You would be delighted I’m sure, to sit for Michelle and Peter, should you get the opportunity. They are relatively remote area wise, so if you want to explore the beautiful area, a car would be necessary. As you would imagine, I’d be delighted and honoured to sit for them again. Michelle, Peter, thank you. Missing Coco and Lexi very much.
