Tracey is a wonderful hostess and has a cozy flat in the heart of Madrid. The location is ideal for exploring on foot and can't be beat. Sigurd is king of the castle. Our than regular meals, he is self-sufficent. He warmed up to us quickly and soon was sharing the bed. We loved our visit and hope to return in the future.
I lucked out by being able to stay at this beautiful home in Rockville with an amazingly affectionate Kitty. I thought it would take longer for her to warm up to me but she was hanging out with me by the first night, which was great because I really enjoy the company. The lovely screened in porch and the beautiful kitchen was all I needed to get my work done. I was very comfortable during a pretty hot spell in Maryland. The homeowners were far away and yet kept in close contact. Was grateful to Be in an area where I had some family and was even able to have them over for dinner one night. Ability to use Amy's beautiful Table Ware and house for time with family was a real gift
Friendly and generous Jordan and John welcomed me into their super, ultra modern, comfortable, warm home set in fabulous 6 acres and what an amazing sit this was! Billie is the most beautiful 7 month old whippet staffi puppy. She's gentle, well trained, excellent on and off lead, brilliant in the car, loves people and other dogs and very snuggly of an evening after long walks. Billie is the perfect companion! Croston is a gorgeous village with friendly people and marvellous countryside walks. I was indeed hooked on Billie's charm and it was a privilege to look after her. I would love to return and recommend this sit 100% as a feel good time with a dog with the loveliest nature. Thank you Jordan and John!
This was a wonderful sit. Dan & LouAnn gave very clear instructions on what Chipper needed. They made me feel very welcomed in their beautiful home and offered information and suggestions on how to enjoy their neighborhood and the extended Knoxville area. There is a walking trail in their community and a beautiful park across the street to enjoy. Chipper is a beautiful sweetheart who needs a lot of tender care. He enjoys eating and being brushed! He’s a special soul ❤️ I would highly recommend this sit.
Josie & her family’s home is located in a lovely rural setting about 45 minutes south of Louisville, KY. The home has nice landscaping as well as a front porch and back deck for relaxing and/or enjoying the bliss of silence—roosters, distant tractors, an occasional bark, and lots of birdsongs! Music to the senses :-) As for the town, there’s not many entertainment attractions, but there’s a Kroger (chain grocery store), a couple of dollar and thrift stores, and a few “mom & pop” eateries & boutiques. My favorite adventures happened at Buttermilk Falls, a paved nature trail with about 5-7 mini waterfalls, which is also close to the river. Josie is easy to communicate with—after an initial Skype introduction, she and I kept in touch & shared pics of our “vacations” via text. Josie has 3 cats of varying personalities: Dumbo is a big, cuddly, sweetie; Turbo is sweet and a bit distant; Kit (a rescue) is more of an outdoor cat who doesn’t appreciate much human interaction. I had a lazy, catlike stay and thoroughly enjoyed my time with Josie’s kitties :-)
