Anna and Jahfaa, along with their one-year-old, stayed at our house from July 26 to August 11. Regarding our two dogs, they seemed healthy and happy when we returned, and it appears the medication for one of the dog's eyes was consistently and properly applied, which we appreciated. However, we did have some issues. The housesitters wanted to have mail delivered, so we left them our post office box key on a keychain. It wasn't on the keychain when we returned home, and they simply corresponded they didn't know where it was when we asked about it. Their child pooped in the pool, so if you have a pool or hot tub, I recommend you verbalize that the child wear a swim diaper. A curtain rod was pulled down and left for us to fix, the plants were not watered, and a few areas weren't left very clean (the microwave had several days' worth of spills and caked on food inside and neither of the beds had been remade). We returned from a long overseas trip, and it was a bit disheartening to have so many issues when we returned.
It is always so nice to come home to happy, healthy dogs that have obviously been well taken care of! Thank you to Zipei and Nick!
Amy arrived after I left for my trip and then left before I returned home. I would have appreciated a bit more communication since we never met but it seemed to work out. Otherwise, the house looked like I left it and my cat seemed fine.
