Rose was incredibly sweet and had a wonderful energy from the get-go! We experienced some slight delays in leaving for our trip but she remained very flexible. We really appreciated her fun art photos of the cats that she shared with us throughout our trip. Major bonus points for a sitter who not only enjoys spending time with our furry babies, but also gets inspired by our space! I got the feeling that the cats really enjoyed all the attention that she lavished on them, because they were so calm when we got home. I would 10/10 recommend Rose and we would definitely love to have her back.
Sarah provided detailed instructions for Lyra’s care, plus info about her home and neighborhood, in a Google doc. Despite being overseas, she was super responsive to questions and took quick action to fix an unexpected issue with the WiFi. Lyra is absolutely lovely- shy at first but sweet and affectionate once she cones out of her shell. Also, Sarah’s apartment is clean and charming, and the nearby Mt. Pleasant downtown is quaint and historic. I’d welcome the opportunity to sit for Lyra again.
We just had our best sit. Higgins is such a great dog. He is so well trained, is loveable, funny, goofy and such a charakter. One's he gets to know you (and stoppes missing Bette & Barry), he starts to cuddle and loves to be close. We had amazing walks with him, even off leash was no problem. Barry trained him so well. We just felt in love with Higgins and it was hard to say goodbye. Bette & Barry are such great people. We met one day earlier to get to know them, Higgins and the house. We were so well taking care off, just amazing. Chatting with them was just like meeting old friends. Just great peoble with big hearts. And Bette's cookies were delicious. The house is great, a big yard, located close to the beach and so many options for great walks with Higgins. We also took him out by car. Thanks Bette & Barry for trusting in us. And Higgins, you've stolen our hearts. We miss him a lot. We'll come back for sure if ever a sit comes up again.
We had a pleasure to watch Terri, 10 year old yorkie, for two weeks. She is an adorable little doggie and you can't ask for a better dog than her! From the moment we met her, she wagged her little tail and welcomed us. 2nd day, she even jumped on the bed and slept with us, which we loved so much. Prior to our arrival, Terrance sent us a detailed guide and it was very easy to follow his directions to take care of Terri. His apartment is very close to the MRT station, lots of places to eat and grocery store. His condo had gym, reading room and awesome pools! The condo is big enough to take Terri for a walk, so you don't need to worry about traffic while taking Terri out. Overall, we enjoyed our stay in Singapore and Terri was an awesome companion to stay with!
Had a nice time looking after Pablo who is a sweet boy. He is low maintenance but tends to bark quite a lot at outside noises, which isn't too much of a problem but just a note for future sitters. The flat itself was comfortable enough and I could see that Alex made an effort to accommodate my stay there & even left chocolates for me, which was nice. All in all I would return if they needed help & thanks again for lending me your home. All the best guys. Matt
What wonderful dogs - Ayla and Jackie are senior Aussie Shepherds and each have some back leg issues, so they generally stay on the property. They are sweet and smart and are trained not to leave the unfenced grounds. They just hang out, accept hugs, and sleep a lot. Cris and Cal are great; welcoming, laid-back, and easy to communicate with. Their property is a lovely acreage located just as you enter town, so everything you need is close by. Don’t forget to go swimming at McIvor Lake.
I had a great time with Bep! She is absolutely lovely, loves cuddle and is very low maintenance. She is always excited when you give her some attention or when you come back home. She likes to sit on your lap and responds very well to tapping your leg or the bed/couch or wherever you would like her to go. She was one of the calmest cats I have cared for so far. I really fell in love with her! Communication with Merel is super easy and she responds quickly. She really made me feel at home. I would highly recommend this sit to everybody. Thank you Merel for this experience and see you (and Bep) soon!
