What a special season it was to stay at Gail's house with Merlin and Molly! It was a very pleasant two weeks, the house is cozy, warm and we had everything we needed for our daily routine. Gail is a wonderful hostess and made us feel at home from the day one, when she picked us up at the station and welcomed us with dinner. Without a doubt, we immediately fell in love with this furry duo. Merlin is, without a doubt, the most loving and affectionate dog we know. He loves receiving affection and lying next to our little daughter as a perfect protector. Molly is charming, calm and super affectionate, and loves a long walk! We had a lot of fun together! Wymondham is a very charming little town with lots of cafes and parks to walk around. There is a large market less than 1 mile from the house and a bus stop within walking distance. We miss you already and hope to see you again at some point!
We loved sitting Jennifer's house, and Maguel the gorgoues cat. a great and comfortable spot. Jennifer made us feel very welcome.
There's not enough words for how amazing it was to housesit for Cassie, Brandon, and Butters. Cassie's communication was easy-going, concise, and timely from the very first messages. C + B's home is such a welcome breath of fresh air in that Cassie's skillful expression of imagination and creativity is seen in so many spaces that you can't help but be moved and smile. (I got so many compliments on Cassie's mural during video calls.) On top of that, Cassie is so open and so welcoming that their space really becomes a retreat for petsitting. Butters, easy-going and lovable in his set ways, reminded me of a precious Jack Lemmon from Grumpy Old Men. He's a legend at his insulin shots and will keep you on schedule when he'd like a snack or to check in. Such an amazing sit and anyone would be lucky to make a new friend in Cassie and Butters!
Housesitting for Harriet and Andrew was a joy, they are very nice people and left us with clear instructions. Lily Blue is an easy sit, she doesn't need much attenion at all but loves to lay on your lap, anywhere you are. It's a bit of a sad experience that she is blind and deaf, but she is a healthly pug with a good appetite. The house is very comfortable with a big garden and the opportunity to play tennis on your own court :-) We are very happy we did this sit and like to thank Harriet and Andrew again for there trust in us.
