What an incredible pleasure it was to care for Chloe, Charlie and Hank! Katrina & Madison have a beautiful home that is beyond comfortable, and their three fur babies are the most chill, easy-to-care-for guys anyone could ask for. Charlie was a bit reserved when we first met, but warmed up to us quickly. Chloe runs the "food service" department....she's the one that lets you know when it's dinner time. ;-) And Hank! What a fun, loving baby he is. Always wanting to be by your side, and always ready to snuggle or just lay on the couch with you. In fact, all three just love hanging out, playing in the yard, and getting love. Katrina had everything well laid out, and feeding time was easy. They are truly a treasure and so much fun. Everything you could want/need is available within a few miles of the house, and the house itself is so comfortable we never wanted to leave. We absolutely loved this sit, and are already missing Chloe, Charlie, and especially Hank. We hope to be able to care for them again in the future. Thanks Trina & Madison!
A+ is the most succinct one can get in reviewing Johnny & Henri’s sit. And spending time intermittently with each of them along the way just sweetened the pot and made the overall experience that much richer. We found them both to be kind, good natured and really thoughtful people! The backdrop of our sit is a lovely home (we lived primarily in the attached gite) set in a shallow valley within view of and only a ten minute walk to Castelnau-de-MontMiral. While Castelnau may be tiny, its charm is enormous and it does offer a small convenience store and pharmacy that can come in handy. We were trained well by Johnny over the first few days for the routine involved in feeding, grooming, exercising and overall caring for their amusing cast of characters. We were glad he took that time before he left as there was plenty to do and it prepared us well from the very beginning. He also left us a detailed schedule of the general activity of the home. Lipton and Jazz have gentle, warm personalities and will welcome all the attention you are willing to provide. While tender hearted, they are every bit sneaky, crafty escape artists, loud barkers, and can be a bit mischievous at times - but isn’t that normal for Cocker Spaniels? They will tug on your hearts as they make a very cute pair! Overall the kitties are a lot more independent though we did find both Helix and Harper to seek out opportunities to be with us and turn on their affection. Their calm, quiet, and affectionate manner made it very easy to be with them. When hanging around the premises, you’ll find the home and gite offer a homey and comfy ambiance. That said, you’ll want to make time to explore the natural beauty of the area - rolling hills and panoramic vistas abound. Small and medium sized medieval villages are nearby and should not be missed. So yes, we heartily recommend this sit. Thank you again Johnny and Henri. We will long remember our time with you and your crew!
It was great sitting foand r Helen she is very relaxed the house is in a very convenient location and l could have my dog with me. Murphy is a lovely dog and soon bonded with us. Would happily look after Murphy anytime.
I had a wonderful stay here in Brooklyn with Chowder, who is the sweetest cat! He really does love to play fetch, and he's a smart boy who is good at keeping to routine but also adapts well to little changes in schedule. He's pretty treat motivated (he knows some tricks!) and also understands having to entertain himself if you're on a call. He's quiet at night and takes long naps during the day, but will let you know when he's hungry. Chowder is social and loves any attention you give him, but he's very independent and is certainly an easy cat to take care of. Ian's place is a wonderful apartment, super well located and convenient. The subway station entrance is on the same block, as is a food hall, and it's easy walking to a ton of restaurants and beautiful Fort Greene Park. He was very responsive over text and happy to answer any questions I had, and was a gracious and generous host. I'd definitely petsit for him and Chowder again!
They were very loving and playful! Chrystelle is very kind, considerate, and a great communicator. The area is very peaceful and quiet.
We had a lovely time at Roberta's place in beautiful Moss Beach! It was very relaxing and only a short walk to see the stunning seaside. Max was such a sweety, and warmed up to us quickly. He has a really fun personality and we had a lot of fun playing with him. Roberta was super responsive to all of our questions and gave us a detailed tour of the home so that everything was easy to find.
