This was a quick sit. Claire was a great communicator and Screepy was super sweet. No trouble at all. The house is in a fun area near lots of great shops. Highly recommend this sit. Thanks Claire and Screepy!
Unfortunately our sit was impacted by tropical cyclone Jasper, which was obviously unavoidable, but apart from this we had a great sit. Patsy and Edwina are super little dogs with lots of personality, and we really enjoyed caring for them. Liz has a wonderful home, and made us feel very welcome. Port Douglas is a fantastic spot, and we hope to return - minus cyclone!
Hermione's home is welcoming and cosy. Hermione made an effort to get to know us, explain how the house worked and even made me lunch before she left. Chomsky is a delightful cat. He is sociable, playful and kept us entertained. This is a very central location for exploring Bristol.
This house sit has every ammenity that you would ever want. Teddy is very well behaved and very smart. Tiny Navi is cute and vocal. They have thought of everything to make the sitter feel right at home!
Goose and Pooh Bear are the cutest cats ever! They both loved head rubs and hanging out with me while i relaxed. It was super fun watching them chase each other around the house! Madelyn is super nice and made sure I was comfortable my whole time in the house.
Sitting for Angus and Fi was an absolute pleasure and a highlight since I have joined TrustedHouseSitters. As hosts their communication and expectations of me were flawless, they were flexible and supportive and a joy to deal with before, during and I hope will continue after, my sit. As well behaved as Angus and Fi were they can't hold a candle to the dogs. Each and every day it was such a pleasure to wake up to these two lovely creatures eagerly looking to share another day with you. Clearly due to age this did involve some extended napping under your feet in the AGA warmed kitchen in between the more active periods. The house, grounds and location were amazing with ample walking opportunities nearby in serene countryside with only the occasional friendly neighbour to possibly disturb the solitude. If you are an active sitter always looking for things to do then fret not as Angus will gladly provide you with a to-do list of gardening and maintenance. I'm torn giving Angus, Fi and the girls a 5 star rating as I always want to sit for them going forward and don't want the competition but, even despite Australia's loss to Scotland in the rugby and Angus holding the bragging rights, I feel am compelled to do so. I leave with fond memories of loving dogs, charming cats, super busy owners and a warm, cozy kitchen. Fully recommend
