We arrived in the evening before Peter and Marine left on their three week trip, and enjoyed getting to know them - and Jeff (dog) and Bob (cat) - over a lovely BBQ and drinks. Their home is in the quiet countryside but not too far from Verneuil Sur Avre with plenty of shops, restaurants and everything you need for your stay. Jeff is a fantastic dog; really gentle and loves company. He had just been diagnosed with arthritis and can't walk far but managed to go a little further each day and never made a fuss. Bob had only been in residence for a week and it was extremely entertaining watching him explore and discover new things - climbing trees and playing with butterflies. This was a lovely sit with two wonderful pets and a very comfortable home.
Amazing time with Colin as well as Janet! Her home was beautiful and the area so convenient (there was a grocery store and bus stop within walking distance). My room was lovely as were all the rooms in the home, just an amazing place to stay.
If I could, I would give my sit with Alfie ten stars! He is the most wonderful dog and I just had a fabulous week with him. He is sweet, very playful, extremely funny and he just loves everyone, which made walking him delightful. His human parents Amy and Duncan and their two children were so very kind and welcoming to me. Their home was in the perfect location, literally across the street from a fabulous walking area next to a river. And during our walks I met so many kind and friendly people. Their home was very cozy, clean and comfortable and they provided a very helpful welcome guide. I would sit for Alfie again in a heartbeat. It was a thoroughly enjoyable experience!
We thoroughly enjoyed our sit for Georgina & Gavin, they were pleasant, accommodating and bought us takeout the evening we arrived! Orwell is a real sweetheart and will definitely lick you to death! He is very loving and never left our side, he loves being around you and has a really great nature. The house can be found in a quiet road but is only moments away from the main high street, with lots of shops and plenty of green spaces to walk Orwell. The house is welcoming, spacious, bright and full of character. We would recommend this sit and would happily return! 😊
It was an incredible experience, Oliver and Baloo are very friendly, we enjoyed the time together playing, and we danced with the disco ball while we waited for the New Year to be!
I recently had the most amazing house and pet sitting experience for this wonderful couple. Their beautiful home, lovely pets, and great location made it truly unforgettable. From the moment I stepped inside, I felt like part of the family. Their pets, the adorable doggo Wilf, affectionate cat Socks, and two charming chickens, brought me so much joy. The house itself was fab, with gorgeous decor and a cozy atmosphere, and the location was perfect. But what truly stood out were the hosts Debbie and Neil, who were incredibly friendly (and great cooks!) and made me feel right at home. This experience exceeded my expectations, and I highly recommend them!
