Sandra
Such a lovely time at Sandra's with the sweet cats, chickens, ducks and sheep. It was very relaxed, the accommodations were cosy and comfortable, and Sandra was so friendly and kind. She was helpful with transport which made everything much simpler. She also introduced us to some other locals so we made some friends nearby, and there are plenty of wonderful places to explore in the region. We would certainly come again!

First of all, we had a very good contact with Carol before the sit. Contact was easy, welcome guide was provided on time with plenty of useful informations. Everything was very simple.

When we arrived we were warmly welcomed by Carol and Andrew. They took time to show us around, the house, the pets, etc. Carol cooked a delicious meal and we really enjoyed our evening together. Carol and Andrew are lovely people, very interesting, it was as simple and nice as spending an evening with friends.

During the sit we were in charge with Louis and Milo, 2 Pyrénénée's mountain sheep dogs. They are very protective to their house so their main activity is being in charge with its security : meaning laying in the front yard, mainly in the shade, sometimes in the sun… hard job ! They are very big so they can be impressing but they are just like huge babies : they love cuddle, food and play. They are very easy to walk (the only thing Louis is not confortable with is bicycle so he would pull on the lead but most of the time he is very calm).
As Milo just had a broken leg few weeks before he was not allowed to run or jump, so we didn't go on very long walks. He was happy with his daily walk along the canal du midi, which is on Carol and Andrew's doorstep. It is a flat walk, lovely and quiet where everybody knows Louis and Milo : they are very famous in their village !! By the end of the week it took me double time to achieve it as I chatted with everybody : I loved it !

Carol and Andrew's house is a fantastic house : very modern – no need to say it is super clean – with everything you would need (a brand new kitchen, a nice and very efficient chimney in the lounge, a confortable bedroom and a large bathroom) including a spa and a gym we were kindly offered to use (which we did and enjoyed a lot).

We had a lovely time with Louis and Milo (and few chickens - very easy to manage and kind enough to deliver us fresh eggs everyday !) and we thank Carol and Andrew for having us in Les Petites écuries. We enjoyed it so much. We highly recommend this sit.

We wish Milo to get well soon and hope to be able to return dog and house sitting for Carol and Andrew again.

Jon
This was my first house/petsit and what a great one!! I had an absolutely amazing stay at Jon's flat and I fell in love with Ella and Meia aka. the best fur-pals a petsitter could ask for.
From arrival to departure, I had a great experience. The flat was very comfortable and welcoming. The location is perfect and I really enjoyed my time in the town of Farnham.
I was sad to leave and say goodbye to Ella and Meia, but so happy to have spent the time with them. I would highly recommend pet/housesitting for Jon and hanging out with Ella and Meia. Thanks, Jon!
