Dennis and Brenda arrived the evening before I left, giving us time to get acquainted and familiarize them with the house and my dog, Piper. This was my first experience with zeewoi and they put me at ease asking great questions. They kept in touch by text with questions and reports on walks with Piper and daily updates. When I returned, the house was clean and well cared for. I will check their availability again next summer when they are in the area. Excellent experience and I would recommend Brenda and Dennis to care for your home and dogs.
This was my last house sit here in Canada and it couldn’t have ended better. George and Bec have been amazing hosts to me and insanely generous for a two night stay! Leo and Lily were very social and affectionate with me and not shy at all. Hopefully I can come back one day for a longer sit, I had an amazing time! Thank you guys for such a pleasant ending here in Canada! All the best to you!
Clifford was really beautiful chill dog to look after, we took him on walks and it was nice building a relationship with him. He isn’t in your face and needy at all, sometimes he wants a pat. Honestly best dog we have sat for. The cats are super chill, they warmed up to us after a few days. It was great house sit. Rehab and Steffan home has everything you need and they were nice people.
Oh my gosh! Such a perfect sit and of my 26 through THS, this one definitely reached my top handful. Maryann is such a lovely woman: warm, generous, organized, and fun. A big part of why I sit for folks is meeting:helping new furry and human friends and making a connection…check off that box, here. Parker and Morgan are sweet kitties and low maintenance. The home and location are phenomenal. The welcome guide was very complete and communication during my stay was excellent. If you are bless to be offered this sit, move mountains to accept. You won’t regret!
We loved staying at Gillian’s place and having lots of cuddles and walks with Scooter and Poppy. Scooter is a sweet older dog who is a good communicator (And likes to sing!). Poppy has a bunch of energy and an exuberant nature, she loves to play fetch and any kind of attention you can give her. There’s both a bit reactive on the lead so I definitely recommend avoiding other dogs off you can, but in Brossac this is very easy. And puss-puss is gorgeous, he was shy for the first couple of days but was all in for snuggles after that. The village is totally beautiful and has everything you need … although we had access to transport, we never actually left the village. There’s a heap of really nice walks around too… follow the signs to the Gallo-Romain ruins.
Heather was extremely attentive to everything I might need while she was away. She provided information on everything from the best tourist spots and bus routes, to pet care and beyond. Her two cats have very different personalities but are both little gems. Mingus is more social and Chilli wants nothing but to be left alone. Regardless, Heather was welcoming and generous. Would absolutely sit for her again!
