Very nice and cozy apartment, Johnny and Sasha were very calm and friendly, I enjoyed them a lot in these days
It was such a pleasure sitting for Vicki! Meeting King and Vito was such a highlight of being in California. King, a trained guard dog for the house is the biggest sweetie-pie youâll ever meet. He has these beautiful brown eyes thatâll make your heart melt. Surprisingly, he took to us a second after giving us a sniff and he got me right in the heartstrings when he put his head on my leg. It was at that moment I knew we were going to be best friends. Kingâs nickname from James was âLieutenant Babyâ and from me was âBubba.â James has more experience with larger dogs, and I am still gaining experience with them. Caring for King has made me much more confident because he is so well trained! Vito is, in fact, a total ham. Which garnered a nickname from me, âHamboneâ and âPiggy.â In his true Frenchie style he had all sorts of weird noises and snorts that you just gotta get used to and giggle at. But even in his stubborn, Iâm-a-puppy way he will also charm the heck out of you. He sleeps with his little tongue out. He loves to sunbathe. He has these little quirks that are just so endearing. James and I sincerely miss the boys. The moment we handed them off, King gave me a look back and I felt like I knew we needed to come back and visit should we get the opportunity. Vicki and Martyâs hospitality were top notch. I felt so at home and was so grateful for the goodies they left for us. Grace, their daughter, was kind enough to give us a runthrough of the house when we arrived. And last but not least, the house. Vickiâs space is amazing. I couldnât get over the view and that was my favorite part of the house, almost second to the kitchen. It was so great cooking in such an open space! I would spend sunrises and sunsets staring out the deck with the boys. Itâs the most peaceful place and I could never get over it. On a clear, clear day, you could even see a hint of the Golden Gate Bridge. I hope we get another opportunity to watch over King and Vito. They were a riot and I loved their antics. We deeply appreciate Vicki entrusting us with her babies and her home. ~Melquea and James
We watched Marie and Tomâs home and their cat, Stella, for a few weeks in May. Their home is very clean and they have a lovely yard with many plants that require watering. The watering does take some time, but we enjoyed taking care of it. Marie and Tomâs clear and thorough instructions made the process straight forward. Stella is an adorable and affectionate cat. She is quite easy and can go outside and entertain herself. When inside, she is very talkative and wants many pets. Their neighborhood is very nice and quiet with many trails around. Weâd absolutely house sit for Marie and Tom again!
This was a very nice house sit. Rambo was timid at first but started warming up later in the week and Miele is a sweetie who loves attention. The house has everything we needed and walkable to the city center. I highly recommend this sit and would love to come back and house sit for them again.
Oliver and Ivy were the sweetest dogs and super easy to care for! They rarely barked, they were easy to get on and off their leashes, and they loved to cuddle. They just needed a 10-15 minute walk first thing in the morning and once in the evening, then just a really quick trip outside right before bed. This allowed us to have plenty of time to explore the sights in San Diego. We would not hesitate to watch them again!
My kids and I had a wonderful time in Fort Collins with Meeko and Moose. They are very self-sufficient but sweet, playful cats. The house was gorgeous, it was extremely easy to get to food and coffee and everything else we needed, and it was right down the street from the city pool. Izzy was a lovely host and gave us great instructions and a warm welcome. It was an all-around great sit!
