Myra and Elaine are fabulous hosts. We did a brief walkthrough prior to the sit, so I could meet the babies and knew where all the cat boxes were and how to let the kitties in an out. Elaine even drove me to the train station after the sit, which was much appreciated. They also allowed me to spend the night on the last day, because they were not returning until the evening.

Jake and Zephyr are absolute sweethearts. I couldn’t have been at the house five minutes before Jake was in my lap. I was honestly a bit amazed. His little face was just staring up at me saying, “pet me, pet me…more, more, more”. Zephyr was more aloof, but still loved to be pet. He didn’t come for loving until the second day, but he also didn’t hide at all. He just really like to be outside playing most of the time.

We had a great time looking after Puck. He is the most cutest cat, lively and also always happy to have a little cuddle with you on the sofa. He will follow you everywhere around the house, will sit on your shoulder or next to you.

The house is very spacious and in a quite area, you can see the Uffington horse from the village. Victoria and William were very welcoming and great with communication. We’d definitely recommend this sitting and would be happy to go back to look after Puck.

Thanks so much Susan for having me stay in your lovely house me and keep your wonderful cats company while you were away..
All three cats are so beautiful, unique and easy to get to know. For the most part, they did their own thing but would happily come for some pets and a good brushing. I was very partial to little Venus…she very hard for me to leave behind!
Also…I thoroughly enjoyed your aquariums…so calming and mesmerizing!
And what can I say about your yard/garden?!? The variety of herbs and fruit trees is really quite amazing! And I appreciate how much time and expense is involved…definitely a labour of love! Just making sure nothing dried out on those hot days required lots of watering!
All and all my stay was a lovely retreat! Thanks again for having me!
