It was a pleasure house sitting for Karen and taking care of her sweet dogs, Kona and Hilo. Karen has a detailed manual in the THS website and gave me a thorough orientation when I arrived, as well as information about nearby places to visit. But with Kona and Hilo for company, and Karen’s comfy lakefront home, there was no reason to go anywhere! Kona and Hilo were delightful and appreciative of love and attention. We spent most of our time on the screened in porch watching the birds and the lake. Both Kona and Hilo are really easy to care for, eat and hydrate well, go out in the yard without leashes, and like to cuddle and play with a great collection of toys, especially the squeaky ones!! They really are great companions! I had a couple of questions and Karen responded quickly, which was helpful. Her home is lovely, easy to keep clean, and a quiet, natural oasis close to the city. I hope to go back for another visit with Karen’s kids!

The 5-star hotel your dog wants you to choose! Amazing place! Our two border terriers have stayed at Pooches a couple of times now and Simon takes exceptional care of them. The place itself is beautiful - think boutique hotel - and the dogs have free roam of the whole house and garden, with multiple comfy beds, chairs and sofas all over the place to lounge and sleep on. There’s even a seafront balcony where they can chill out and watch the waves and the world go by. Simon is a really lovely guy; very friendly and welcoming and with a great sense of humour. His love and passion for all the dogs in his care is clear from the get-go. He made us feel comfortable and confident in him and his hotel right from the very first messages we exchanged. He sends you plenty of pics and vids every day showing what a wonderful time your dog is having so you never once have to wonder what they’re up to and if they’re ok. I was hesitant at first to leave our two at a dog hotel/boarding place because they can be a bit cranky around other dogs but I needn’t have worried. Simon really knows and understands dogs and our two got on totally fine - they came back home absolutely knackered from all the fun they’d had and we really noticed an improvement in their behaviour and attitude around other dogs since their stay. I wish I’d booked them in sooner! If you want five star luxury accommodation where your pup will be treated like royalty (of course you do) don’t hesitate to check them into Pooches Hotel - your dog will thank you for it!
We couldn't have asked for better care for our dog Arnie whilst we were away for a few days. Simon adores all the dogs that stay with him at his wonderful place. His Casa has a huge outdoor space for dogs to sniff and play, a swimming pool and all the comfortable sofas a dog could wish for. Simon regularly sent videos and photos of Arnie and pals living a life of luxury at the pooch hotel. Simon is a genuinely caring person. Arnie would love to stay with him again! Absolutely amazing. We and our 4 legged King-of-the-house whippet were welcomed into a warm, comfortable and cosseting home. Simon is the kind of person you meet and can’t help but feel immediate relaxed around and confident that your precious family member is in the right place. Simon’s love and passion for what he does shines through and I am so happy we found Pooches Hotel.
Absolutely amazing place, Mirabell our afghan and Kiara our landseer was fully enjoyed all the time there, and as I see all dogs was very happy there :) The owner also is a very nice and friendly person. All dogs had a really good and friendly relation with him. Also you can connect the stay with a "dog wellness " They have the best groomering service with the best groomer in the island, Dorotthy, she's very nice and professional. We are regular clients. We really advice this hotel.
Best dog hotel ever. Simon is that perfect person you would always like to care of your baby. My Katniss likes him a lot and she was always looking happy in all of videos and pictures he sent to me. 1000% recommended.
Our very introverted old Maltese stayed at pooches hotel for the day. We were all made to feel at ease, and its clear that the pooches are treated with love and respect, with the freedom to roam free. Simon has created a relaxed vibe. Totally recommend
Absolutely Amazing! We have been using Pooches for 3 years and we wouldn’t leave our dog anywhere else. From the moment you walk in you are greeted like family by Simon who takes impeccable care of all the doggies. The dogs have free rein of the hotel and it is all so comfortable. Previously we had to use kennels and they were so soul-less and the carers weren’t invested in the well-being of the dogs. Whereas Simon brings his own pizazz to the place and treats each dog as if it were his own. It comforts us to receive pictures and videos of our dog whilst we are away!
I was on a holiday in Mallorca with my little princess Amber. After having heard of Simon's luxury dog hotel, I knew my girl had to experience it for herself! Simon was very friendly, a few days leading up to our visit, he communicated everything that we needed to know. He was very gracious and accomodating, making me really feel at ease leaving Amber in his loving care for the day. I was updated through videos and I can see how Amber settled in really quickly! Simply a 10. What they do in this daycare is a vocation. I always have problems leaving my dog with anyone because it is very difficult for him to socialize with unknown people (he gets aggressive) and with dogs it is even worse. Well, she without any problem told me to bring him that she deals with aggressive dogs and just like that, my dog as if I had known her all my life. In addition, he has kept him in a separate place from the other dogs, he has tried to socialize him, he has played with him, he sleeps indoors every night, if you don't have food they give it to him, he shows you videos and photos during his stay there... It's tremendous! 😍 I'm super happy. I recommend this nursery 100%, I found it by chance and it has been the best success. Thank you very much Vivi!! ❤🥰🥰🥰
Great experience in the ark after 4 days out of the city. We left 2 dogs and we couldn't be happier! Viviana and the rest of the team were great with both of them, adapting to each one's needs. The oldest received special care and the youngest enjoyed it like no one else! In addition, they sent us audios and photos so we were very calm. Without a doubt a 10! We will repeat again

Our dog finds it difficult to be alone and needs a lot of activity so it is not easy to leave him with friends. At Aunt Vivi's Ark we found the perfect place for him. He is with other dogs and they take good care of him. He spent 5 days there when we went on a trip and now we take him sometimes when we are away all day. A salvation. Thank you
It's the place where I leave my furry friend whenever I need him. They have a very large space and you can see the love they have for animals. It is a more "hippie" "canine hotel", more "from home". The animals are loose and playing with each other. In summer they fill a pool and you can swim there. My furry friend is quite grumpy and not very sociable and there he has managed to be with other dogs so calmly. 100% recommended.
We have left our pet Rocco for a few days!!! And we are very happy for the treatment and care you have had. They sent us photos of our dog every day which gave us a lot of peace of mind on our vacation. The environment where they are is ideal and you can see the affection they have for our pets. We had to change our return a few more days and it wasn't a problem. We picked up Rocco in very good condition!!! Thank you very much and we will surely repeat!!!!!

My dog, Once, loves Daniela. When he sees her, he goes crazy with joy and doesn't stop kissing her.
