I enjoyed sitting with Hopper and Leelah. They're both very sweet pets and Leelah is a hoot. She loves to spend her time on top of the TV where it's nice and warm. Sean & Chiara left great, detailed instructions so it was an easy sit. The neighborhood is lovely and peaceful and everything you need is close by - not to mention the water. :) I highly recommend this sit for anyone looking to spend time in N. CA
We were lucky enough to house sit for Eugene for 3 weeks over the Christmas period. This was our first house sit organised through trusted house sitters and it exceeded our expectations. Eugene couldn't have been a nicer host, he was very welcoming. We had a few tasty meals together and lots of interesting conversations. He showed us the ropes and made us feel right at home before he left. Eugene was always at the end of the phone if we had any questions. His home is very beautiful, on top of the hill with the perfect view of Carcassonne cite. It's in a great location to explore the area by car - as public transport from the near village is not very often. We had a fantastic time, THANK YOU very much Eugene for sharing your home with us.
PETS: Amos and Marvin were perfect! They each have unique personalities that compliment each other so well. Amos loves to sunbathe, cuddle, walk around, and watch you work. So long as he is getting petted, he is a happy guy. He is an older dog, so I tried to manage our activities around his fluctuating energy levels. We always found great activities to do. Marvin is known to be more independent and less cuddly. However, when I was there, he was so willing to cuddle and get close to me. He did wonderfully with meeting me! PARAMETERS: Kelly and Jan did a great job of mapping out the house rules and Amos and Marvin's daily routines. Not only that, they were kind enough to meet prior to the official sit to walk me through the home and meet the pets. This was so helpful for me to do a great job! LOCATION: The Montrose area is quite centralized, so you are always a few minutes within walking distance from coffee shops, museums, restaurants, and parks. I had a great time exploring the city. Overall, I would recommend this sit.
Atlas is everything! Cute, sweet and funny- and he knows it! Things were clearcut and easy- communication-wise and care-wise. I hope to see them all again!
