This house was great. Steve and Joyce were lovely people. They made us feel welcome and apart of their home. Both Steve and Joyce made it very easy to understand what had to be done at their home and what things were around where they lived. We all loved and throughly enjoyed sitting for Steve and Joyce. Their dog Hazel and olive had a beautiful temperament, they are very very loving and sweet. As for thier chicken, ducks and quails,it was nice to look after them and see how they all had their own individual personalities their home was excellent and well set up.We would highly recommend any one to house and pet sit for Steve and Joyce.
Meredith and Matt were fantastic to sit for. They had an information book that answered all our questions. Their apartment is organized well to make learning their pet routines easy. Rudy is lots of fun and likes to cuddle in laps. Miri and Zelda are wonderful to walk and care for. All three are very lovable. Great pet sit!
I had a wonderful time staying with Oscar at Sarah's place. Sarah's apartment is large and bright and is close to all the transportation - light rail to the airport and other parts of Seattle, a bus to Fremont. The bed was comfortable, and I slept well at night. Oscar was sweet and low maintenance, he required just 20-minute walks on the grass strip by the apartment complex where he promptly took care of his business and sniffed around a bit. I recommend Oscar and Sarah's place and hope I get to visit again.
Catleesi is a super sweet and low maintenance cat. Sarah was great at communicating everything I’d need to know ahead of the sit. Her home has a beautiful view and was a relaxing place to stay. It’s close to great parks, with restaurants a short drive away.
These are five of the best dogs on earth. I grew to deeply love each and every one of them. You’ll find the reason pit bull Smokey often stares your direction is that he’s hoping…hoping…hoping…that out of the five…he’ll be the one you choose to pet right now! Then super excitedly wag his tail as you do! Indeed, that was one of the hardest things about the sit. As a single sitter and after returning from being away for a couple hours, I often wished I could multiply myself to give each excited dog plenty of affection & pets. These are five very different dogs personality wise, but the one thing they have in common is that they are all extraordinarily loving and affectionate, something I credit Arnold and Jane with establishing, especially since they’re all rescues with varied backgrounds. It is clear to see that Arnold and Jane have showered love on these dogs, and that these dogs are blessed to have come under their protective care. Don’t hesitate to come hang out with sociable & joyful Lucy, happy & faithful Sam, inquisitive tender-hearted Winston, sweetheart Harley, and endearing doll baby Smokey. They will bless and change your life for the better forever. Oh, and yes, the view from the house really is that beautiful. Actually, it’s even more beautiful live than in photos. The whole area is a serene paradise with hiking, kayaking, and more. During bedtime bathroom breaks, I was always entranced by how dark the front yard becomes in these Appalachian foothills. It was so peaceful and cool but I was relieved to know the dogs were right there with me!
