Jim & Janice were wonderful to work with and Stella & Spirit are delightful!!! Their property is beautiful—I felt like I was at luxury camp. Janice & Jim were welcoming, thought of everything & were super supportive & helpful. They even had put a book together with all the information I’d need. Spirit & Stella were superb companions. They are both so loving & fun, and Spirit by my side kept me feeling safe & secure. I fell in love with both of them. Aaron was very accommodating. He helped us a lot with getting to his place and leaving, and made us feel at home. Both Sheba and Sam and really lovely dogs and very easy to care for. They're calm and affectionate. The house and backyard is really great and has everything one might need! It's also just a 10 minutes walk to all the shops and restaurants.
Millie and Mugsy are a dynamic duo. Lots of play and love between the sisters and also very interested in being with us. Two of the sweetest labs, they were very affectionate and appreciative of snuggles. They loved beach time but also made the most of play time in their big backyard. Rachel and Eric’s location minutes away from Folly Beach provided great access to James Island amenities and it’s a 20-minute drive into downtown Charleston. We were easily able to explore the area within the parameters of time away from the dogs. Eric met us at the house prior to his departure so we could get our bearings and meet the dogs. Rachel checked in regularly and worked collaboratively to establish start/stop dates and times. They were very responsive hosts.
Oakie is the DREAM dog! We absolutely adored her. She was hands down the most easy and best dog we have looked after with the most gorgeous gentle personality. We found it so hard to say goodbye! She loves going to the park and beach to chase after her ball, and otherwise just easily came with us everywhere we went. Sophie and Cam were equally as amazing. Their home is so lovely and comfortable, and a 5 minute walk to stunning beaches. They were so easy to communicate with and made us feel right at home as soon as we arrived. Could not recommend this Housesit more!
It was a pleasure to watch Misha and Shelley. Misha, the kitty is very loving and funny. She loves to be outside climbing trees and hunting in the woods. We were picked up at the airport which is very convenient to their home. Blotzheim is a wonderful home base to visit Alsace , Germany and Basel. Their home is beautiful with all the modern amenities. I highly recommend this sit and would gladly return.
We had the most amazing time with Rio. He is a love bug. In our minds the most perfect dog ever. He loves to have you around and will lay down in your proximity, but now needy. He loves his scratches,playtime and walks, but also his hiding out time under the bed. Rio walks well in the leash and there are many amazing places to walk in the area. We loved the bakeries, trails and rose garden. He also enjoyed the short drive to the local mountains to hike. The house is in a perfect location to get into the heart of Santa Fe. There were many festivals that we attended. Adam left us day passes for a free to visit the local museums. That was perfect and the museums are wonderful. The Museum Hill cafe was exceptional. The house is perfect. The bed is very comfortable, kitchen was amazing and we were able to cook to our hearts content t. We spent many mornings relaxing g with Rio in the backyard.
