David,the house owner, is a perfectly kind and welcoming host for the sit in Harmony.Situated next to a chapel,the house is fairly isolated with only a scattering of unoccupied holiday lets and over 3 miles from Goodwick and 6 miles from Fishguard.Needless to say it is a very peaceful location with Strumbe Head lighthouse and dramatic coastline about 2 miles away. The house was in a partial repair state,but adequate for a house sitter. Spot,the house 3 legged cat, is a delightful character,usually spending most of his time out galivanting in the garden or sunbathing. After he has eaten his pouched food and biscuits in the morning,he is rarely seen in the house, but when he is,he is very affectionate,craving cuddles and strokes. Be sure and stock up on food and provisions for your stay,otherwise it is a long trek to the shops and a pub!
Homeowners are very kind and keep in touch. Fur family members are gentle loves! Enjoy the saltwater pool if you can ( it was too cold for me).
Bonnie & Rosie were such sweet dogs. They were very friendly and loved hanging out with us! The house was also beautiful and very comfortable. We’d happily return if/when we ever go back to the area!
We had a lovely stay and fell in love with Chico & Bella! They both have the sweetest personalities and are very affectionate. Chico runs the neighborhood and everybody adores him. Bella is definitely the lady of the house.  Jodi and Fred went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. The home is beautiful, cozy, and had everything we needed for a great stay. Jodi gave us great suggestions for things to do in Grand Junction. The home is in a geographically beautiful, quiet neighborhood, and the neighbors were all lovely.  We would return again in a heartbeat!
What can I say, Randall is such a sweetheart, You can't help but to fall in love with him. I spent two weeks with Randall during Christmas and New Year and I met Dot, James and baby Ripley before they went on their Christmas holiday. We went for a walk with James and Randall and James showed me around Southfields, places and the park where they usually take Randall for a walk. They are such a lovely family and they have a lovely home in a very peacefull neighbourhood. Randall is trained very well and he behaves very well on lead. He got excited few times in the park when he saw squirrels and one time when we saw fox in the morning, but he calms down easily when You tell him no. He can be very silly and playfull, which is very adorable for a dog his size. I really enjoyed my time with Randall and my time in Southfields, where people are very friendly.
Watching Yoda was a pleasure, and Laura’s wonderful home is in a beautiful area that is super walkable. Laura was super responsive and accommodating. And the star of the show Yoda was an absolute treat, so well behaved, full of love and affection, very easy to care for and overall just a joy to be around. It has been a week since our stay at Laura’s and we are still missing Yoda. Overall an excellent experience and we hope to be back again soon, definitely recommend this sit!
