What's not to like about the Dordogne? What's not to like about Ziggy? And what's not to like about Gerry and Saralynn and their beautiful home. I really enjoyed my short (5 nite) stay. Simply lovely. If you are fortunate enough to housesit for Ziggy, may I suggest seeing Limeuil and a few of the chateaux that are closeby (Beynac, Castelnaud-la-Chapelle, and Milandes … although you can't take photos in Milandes). Thank you Ziggy for being my friend for 5 days … welcome home, Gerry and Saralynn.
I had a great time looking after Hamish and Tilly in Kelkheim. The two dogs are so differen from each other, so special in their own way, very cute and entertaining. They made us smile and laugh all the time. Tilly is a bundle of energy and it takes some activity to tire her out. But at the same time she is very cuddly and loves physical contact. Hamish is very docile and uncomplicated, a true Scottish gentleman, a senior who will steal your heart. He might seem reserved at first, but warms up quickly. A little leisurely walk with extensive sniffing, a little attention here and there - and of course dinner and snacks on time - and he is happy. The area is great: A 20 mins drive to Frankfurt downtown and endless possibilities to unwind basically right in front of the door. But spending hours in the house itself is great already. With its fantastic views, big garden and its spaciousness... This really felt like a short holiday for us. Communication with Rachel was always easy and straightforward. They are very relaxed and sympathetic. Thanks for everything!
This was our first overseas sit - so we were a little nervous. It turned out there was no need to be. Beautiful location, lovely house and sweet and friendly animals. We did enjoy looking after Mr.Tibbs!! ...he's such an amusing cat....but doesn't miss a trick where anything nice to eat is about!! Staying in your beautiful home was a treat and Colin enjoyed the opportunity of looking after your garden for the time we were there. Fochabers is a lovely village with many interesting places to visit...everyone was so friendly.!!! Altogether a very successful house sit...Thank you Maureen.

This is a fantastic sit in a beautiful home. We fell in love with Bonnie, Rosa, Tiger and Ede! Such a joy to be with and brilliant fun. Bonnie runs in the fields off lead and has great recall by name or by whistle. The cats joined us on the walks too and all the animals are very affectionate. William’s communications before, during and after the sit were perfect. We were even sent introductory videos beforehand so we knew how everything worked. Highly recommend and hope to be back!
