We thoroughly enjoyed our pet sit at Cathy and Allen’s beautiful and spotlessly clean home. The home is located in a very quiet neighbourhood surrounded by a network of many walking/biking trails. Communication with our hosts was excellent and meeting with them before our sit was very helpful. We greatly appreciated how Cathy labelled all the cupboards so that we could easily locate everything. The pets were easy to care for and followed the routines given to us. Rosie was a joy to be with, took us on many adventures during our daily walks and loved playing fetch with her toys. She was playful, affectionate and would dance for us at each feeding. Bunny was quiet, shy and content to roam the downstairs, playing with her toys in her bedroom or resting on one of the sofas. It was a wonderful experience and we highly recommend this pet/house sit.
We really enjoyed our stay at Paul and Jane's. It is evident that they have done a lot of work training Mrs. T and Brody and the dogs are not only well behaved but completely adorable! Brody's personality is infectious and Mrs. T is sweet and soft. Their house was very clean, just the way we like it and their location offers stunning scenery and beautiful countryside walks, perfect for long dog walks. Paul and Jane were excellent hosts, very clear in their instructions, and very responsive to our questions. We would love to sit for them again.
Amazing experience! We were so lucky to find such a great couple, unfortunately we didn’t meet Steven but Mariana did everything easy from the first moment. When we arrived she showed us the city centre and recommended us different restaurants and places to visit, something we really appreciated and enjoyed with her. The house is located in the city centre and is absolutely beautiful, decorated with style, comfortable and there are many interesting books to read. What to say about “La Julia”? She is the most playful and communicative cat we have seen ever, actually, we called her “La Julia parlanchina”
Catriona provided us with a very detailed and thorough information pack before the visit which helped prepare us for the sit. Their house was a wonderful place to stay with plenty of of room and a beautiful recently finished kitchen dining room where we spent most of the time. The bedrooms were nicely made up and the waiting chocolates on the pillows were much appreciated! Angel was a lovely old girl who was a pleasure to look after. She had her routine into which we slotted nicely, on walks she led us to her favourite places in the nearby parks and indicated when it was time to head home (especially when the weather wasn't good!). The cats slowly warmed to us and spent a fair amount of time cuddled up in beds or on sofas with us but largely did their own things as was their wont. The rabbits enjoyed their treats and even Marmite eventually allowed us to give her some scritches behind the ears. All necessary foods, bedding, etc. were provided in excess for all the animals and it was obvious that they were very well loved and cared for. Overall the sit was very enjoyable and it was a pleasure to have been invited into their home. We would happily sit for them anytime, if available!
Sitting for James and Jen was FANTASTIC! Their home is very comfortable, convenient, and their pets Cilantro, Frenzy, Dorito and Junebird are sweet and easy to take care of. Cilantro is a good walker, and the backyard is fenced, for when it's raining. We even had an Opossum visit outside and stay nearby for a few hours.
Serra was super nice, giving me all the information I needed and with an excellent location. Valentine is a very tender cat, she was always going to say good morning to me! Very nice sit!
