I cannot say enough good things about Tracy and Dan. They stayed with my two dogs (and many, many house plants) for 3 weeks in November. I was traveling out of the country and wouldn't have much (if any) cell reception for most of the trip. I was really nervous to leave the boys for so long but Tracy and Dan sent updates early on (while I still had reception) to let me know how the boys were doing. Everyone settled in great and both dogs warmed up to Tracy and Dan right away! Both dogs required daily medicine, and one of my dogs has some additional special considerations; Tracy & Dan managed all of this flawlessly while I was gone. Additionally, one of my dogs developed a cyst on his elbow that required a trip to the vet. Tracy sent me a very detailed email explaining the situation and how they managed it, including pictures. (Everything was fine in the end, and they managed the situation exactly as I would have.) I came home to a SUPER clean house, happy plants, two very happy and healthy dogs, and a beautiful note full of memories from Tracy/Dan and Chance/Cooper's time together. I was overwhelmed with gratitude to read that someone could love my boys as much as I do in such a short period of time. The boys were absolutely spoiled (in the best way) while I was gone, having had multiple daily walks, lots of games, snuggle time, and story time during the rainy days. Communication with Tracy/Dan before, during, and after the trip was great - they are super responsive, and we had a lot of conversations (video chat, text, and email) leading up to my trip to make sure everything was in place, and all questions answered. Tracy & Dan left follow up instructions from the vet visit, and (as noted above) a wonderful note about their time together. The house was in immaculate shape when I returned (they must have vacuumed every day because there was no dog hair to be found!). I would *absolutely* recommend Tracy and Dan for any pet/house/plant sitting needs. They are kind, compassionate, and fun people. I hope they will be able to stay with my boys on all my future trips, as I truly feel like the boys bonded with them as if they were family. Thank you, Tracy & Dan, for caring for my boys while I was gone!! Please come back to visit anytime! :)
