The Cawley family is precious and a delight to communicate with. Their amazing home is bright and comfortable in a wonderful out-in-the country suburb, and Jeff & Cris are great communicators about what to expect, and quick to answer any questions. They were fully on-board with our family of 4 joining (including our 12 & 14 year olds) - likely since they have teens of their own - and I believe it turned out to be a great experience for everyone. Doggies Kona and Hershey are wonderful and easy to care for. My 12 year old daughter fell in love with giant puppy Kona, and was sad to leave her when our 9 days of housesitting was complete. Kitty Aurora was my son’s favorite, and he frequently sought her out to pet and to lay with him while he read. Highly recommend housesitting for the Cawley family, and so glad we were able to help.
Sitting for Karen and Gil was a pleasure. Here at their beautiful home in Camarillo I watched after the cutest dog names Coco. She was the neighborhood star! We couldn't go a block without someone recognizing her and knowing her name. Karen was more than kind and always insisted I reach out and let her know if I needed anything at all. Although her and Gil were not home I could still feel and appreciate their hospitality! Coco is very sweet and loves belly rubs and isn't shy to tell you. I enjoyed my stay in their new neighborhood and only wish I could have stayed longer! Wonderful sitting!
This was a wonderful sit! Andrea and John were so accommodating and allowed us to stay the night before, since they were flying out very early the next morning. They both made us feel welcome and comfortable right away. Their home was in a great neighborhood, spacious and had EVERYthing we needed...including 2 office areas and high speed wifi. They were quick to answer any questions and had a long list of local places to eat, which was a nice treat. Oso, their spunky puppy was hilarious and a delight to be around. He LOVES to play with you, and play often (so be ready)! He has a happy personality, wants to please and really loves his humans. You can't go wrong with this sit and we highly recommend it.
We looked after Hiro for just over a week in May and can honestly say it's one of our most favourite sits that we've ever done. Hiro is an absolute sweetheart and a joy to look after. He walks well on the lead, and is great in the car. We had a lot of really fun adventures with him. We miss him a lot and hope to look after him again in the future. Shaun and Chris were extremely welcoming and we had a lovely stay in their beautiful home. The communication with them was easy and they were always quick to reply to any questions. Their home was spotless, extremely comfortable and we made great use of the hot tub. We found it very peaceful watching the birds and red squirrels and felt completely relaxed and at home. The area in and around their home is stunning, cute little towns to visit, unlimited areas to walk and lots of wildlife. We hope to see you all again!
I really enjoyed my stay at Shona and Jamie’s cottage taking care of Jessie! Shona and Jamie have a beautiful home in a very lovely location with lots of good walking and cycling paths. They were very helpful and friendly, sharing lots of information to help me enjoy my stay. I loved spending time with Jessie! She is a sweet and affectionate kitty and I’m very happy that I will get to return for another short visit with her soon. 😊
I spent three beautiful weeks in Nina's apartment. She is very kind and communication before and during the stay was fluent. Lily, the star of the house, is a very sweet cat who spent hours on my lap while I worked. Basically, after two minutes sitting or lying down she was on top of me. Nina mentioned that Lily sometimes gets quite vocal at night, but that never happened and she slept in bed with me every night until I wake up. The apartment is charming and in an unbeatable location. Everything you need is within walking distance (supermarkets, two large parks, cafes, restaurants, pubs). The neighborhood is great. It is also very well connected to the rest of the city, with several means of transport nearby. Thank you Nina for having me! I would definitely this sit again.
