They were wonderful sitters! After talking to them on the first day, we fully trusted them with our pups even though we didn't have reception for the rest of the weekend. They did a wonderful job, and we would work with them again in a heart beat.
Tom watched our St. Bernard & 2cats for 1 month. He used our car while housesitting. He watered plants, mowed, and brought in mail. Seems like our pup got lots of walks and cats liked him. Left house clean. Overall he did great and no issues. He was helpful when the car broke ( not his fault) and needed repair. He sent us pictures of our pets frequently at first but that kinda tapered off and had to prompt a bit. I would totally invite Tom again to sit although would ask for more regular updates for long trips. Our house was like we never left!
We had a fabulous stay in Aylesbury with Barney and Daisy, who were both a joy to look after. Rowena and John were very welcoming, easy to communicate with and helpful in giving us ideas of places to visit to explore the local area. The house was very comfortable, clean and well equipped. Rowena and John were great hosts, making sure we had everything we needed and we enjoyed meeting them briefly in the morning to ensure we were fully up to speed with where everything was to be able to care for the dogs during our stay. All in all a great sit, which we would thoroughly recommend to others 😍
Our short stay at Katelyn's was great! Leo, Randy, and Jax are adorable. Even though the 2 older boys, Randy & Leo, are "senior" dogs they are puppies at heart. After all their zoomies are out in the backyard-- they seemed to love following us around the house and laying at our feet or on our laps when we sat down. We will miss them dearly! Katelyn was so kind and hospitable during our stay and was helpful with any questions we had. She even left us a batch of her homemade fresh sourdough bread, which was great :) We would definitely sit for Kateyln and these amzing pups again!
My kids and I had a wonderful time housesitting for Katja. Her dog Tookie was just absolutely a sweetheart great with kids, listens well, and great on the leash. Katja's place was super nice, spacious and very clean. Walking distance to restaurants and stores and felt safe walking around at night. Also close to lots of amazing things. Katja was very easy going and great to communicate with.
My stay at Dorothy's was so peaceful and Jainey was an absolute pleasure to spend time with. She's such a sweet companion - chirping whenever I entered the room she was in and coming over to be pet every once in a while. She ate regularly up until the point where I started packing, which seemed to make her nervous. However I learned to spoon feed her when giving her medication and just spoon fed her more frequently those last few days. Dorothy's space is so tranquil, comfortable and beautiful. The garden is a special space. Very easy walking distance to the metro north and everything in Peekskill!
All I can say is that I already miss Basil and Gert! <3 Cara and Liam are amazing lovely people and their description, pictures and what they expect from the sitter is clear and accurate. They also replied to me fast when I had any question and sent them messages, even being in a different time zone. Highly recommend this sit in a laid back neighbourhood and miss my walks with Basil and playing with both, Basil and Gert. They are the best company one could wish for. Thank you so much for the trust and generosity!
Diane and Bushan have a lovely home, in a charming village with two great pubs. Rudy and Dylan are friendly, loving dogs, well behaved with a regular routine. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our first experience of sitting with THS.
