Gretchen came highly recommended and didn’t disappoint! Her communication was excellent - she sent us regular updates and photos of our pet while we were abroad. She was extremely well organised and self-suffiient and our neighbours spoke very highly of her. We know our pup was in safe, caring hands. And she left our home immaculate! We have no hesitation recommending her to other home/pet owners.
We stayed at Paul and Esthers house in Exmoor National Park for 8 nights. The house was spotlessly clean and tidy when we arrived and all information we needed for our stay was clearly explained and everything well organised. Kiri and Jack were lovely and active dogs with a clear routine that was easy to follow. We walked with them for several hours each day in the beautiful countryside and they were eager and in good shape. During the day we also threw the ball and Jack in particular loved this. They used to come in the house and stay with us while we cooked dinner and truly enjoyed our company. We managed to see Dunster, Lynton, Porlock and Minehead during our stay and especially Minehead was loved by our teenage girls for some shopping. The house was great for our family of five and a relaxing spot with the large garden, trees and proximity to naturewalks. Thank you Esther and Paul for trusting us with your dogs and wonderful house- we had a lovely sit that we will recommend to everybody who love the countryside and great naturewalks.
I really enjoyed watching Karel! He is a really sweet cat and easy to take care of. He's very cuddly so hopefully you enjoy cuddling cats and having them on your lap. Marian is a very nice person and great host. She made me feel at home there right away. Her place is comfortable and not far at all from the central station. It's quiet and clean. Highly recommend cat sitting here!
Justin & Luanne were amazing hosts. They have a beautiful home in a lovely neighborhood. We would sit at the table for dinner & watch all the neighbors walking by. Watching the neighbors across the road always out watering or working in her gardens. Erin was amazing with giving us a tour around the house & was really awesome with giving us alot of recommendations of where to eat or to go too. She was just an awesome kid. Moon she was a beautiful, most cutest sweetest kitty. We loved spending time with her. She would follow us all the time. If Charma was working away in the office she would just lay by her in the sun. Or we would watch a movie on the couch & she would come lay next to us & let us pet her. She would always let us cuddle & love on her & if we would stop she would look at us like "excuse me ? I'm not finished yet". She a typical cat that loves lounging in the sun. Loves her naps & was voicetress when she wanted to be. We would sit outside reading a book or listening to an audio book on the top deck with her & she would just hang out with us. She was just an awesome kitty & we were lucky enough to be able to care for her while her family were on a lovely vacation. We would highly recommend sitting for this lovely family & would house/pet sit for them anytime.
Seamus and Catherine were wonderful pet parents. Very welcoming and helpful;. Everything was clear for the care of Nina and their lovely home. Nina was an absolute delight. We had many long and exploring walks together and spent many hours in each other’s company everyday at home as well. She was my little shadow, who’s company I will miss!
From the very first moment, we had a very positive feeling about Rhian and Brandon. It wasn't just a feeling. During our initial introductory phone call, they answered all our questions and introduced us to Atlas. Before our arrival, they made sure multiple times if we needed anything. When we had questions, they responded very promptly. They provided us with a detailed list of attractions, restaurants, cafes, national parks, and everything we could do in our free time. They also gave us a detailed list about Atlas and the aquarium. Upon our arrival in Stromstad, they met us at the station, showed us the city, the apartment, and we could go for a walk with Atlas. The surroundings where the Kellers live offer truly beautiful natural environment, opportunities for biking, hiking, boat trips, cafes, and restaurants. Atlas is a very well-behaved dog, despite still being a puppy. It was a joy to spend time with him. The apartment was exceptionally clean, spacious, well-equipped, we lacked nothing. We had all the necessary numbers on the fridge (emergency, veterinarian…). The Kellers maintained contact with us throughout the entire stay, being helpful with every question and responding quickly. We were touched by the generosity of this family, who made an effort to make us feel comfortable staying in their house. We rate this stay 12/10 and highly recommend it.
Annie’s home was welcoming and clean. It was a pleasure to stay with Thor & Sadie. They allowed me to care for them while their family travelled. They were well behaved. I will sit for Annie again.
