Kate has a lovely home, on the doorstep of some stunning walks. And of course Benji is a stunner and an absolute sweetheart. Very well behaved and loves a cuddle.
I had such a lovely time caring for Hobie and Gerry. They are the sweetest dogs. Siobhan’s home is super comfortable, clean and in a fabulous area right by Glentenassig Forest, under mountains and around rivers. I had everything explained perfectly to me and had a lovely room and comfortable bed. There are lovely areas to walk the dogs in the area, and beaches close by! Gerry loves a snuggle and Hobie loves to play. They both love to chill and snuggle up in the evening. Would 100% recommend.
Beverly was a gracious hostess and Bella, Kira and Sheena, are easy, enjoyable and entertaining cats. Beverly home is very comfortable and very nicely decorated. The location is awesome, 20 minutes to beaches, very quite and laid back with lots of great museums. I would highly recommend a sit with Beverly and her kitties!
From start to finish this house sit was 5-star. I initially met with Louise and Quinn on a video call a few weeks before the sit. They were easy to talk with and gave me lots of information about their home and for their cat (Shiva) so that I felt confident sitting for them. When I arrived I met with them both again and they hosted a lunch for me (lovely!) and we went through final details for the sit. I was staying for three weeks and their home was super comfortable. Everything was ready for me when I arrived. Having Shiva as company was ideal and he was easy to care for. So affectionate and loving! Whilst Louise and Quinn were away we stayed in contact to make sure everything was all was ok. I’d have no hesitation sitting again for them.
If you get a chance to sit for Sue and John with their super sweet and affectionat cat trio you sould take it right away and here is why: Sue and John are most welcoming, generous and warmhearted and my experience with them and their sweet bunch of cat was just brilliant! It started with the communication beforehand where I not only got tips for best stop-overs and excursions for my long trip to Wales but also pictures of the extremly pitoresque surroundings of their home to water my mouth - if it wasn't already hard enough to wait for my journey to start! Apon arrival I was treated to a tradition dinner and the best bed I had in years (including my bed at home ;-)) Their instrucitions are on point and easy and the best part are their wonderful sweet cats who are so affectionate and always wanted to stay with me - I always had company and loved it dearly! The sit was 6 weeks and it easily could have been 4 month without getting bored with all the cat love, dolfines (!!!!!) on the shoreline, coastal path, stunning villages... Would love to come back and explore even more of stunning Wales!
Two stunning Airedales were the focus of our weekend stay in the Newton area of Summerville, South Carolina. Sisters, Xena and Mocha, are full of energy and eager to join us on walks or be with us while at home. The onsite dog park provided them a great space to interact with other dogs and to exercise and play. They LOVE it! Lots of other walking options are close by. While our time with these two was short, we know they love to accompany their owners on outings to the beach and local parks. Both dogs readily accepted cuddles and they returned our affection. This was the first TH experience for our hosts who provided us a great overview of the dogs’ personalities and routines. Davis checked in often during their weekend away. Their current studio apartment is cute and cozy with a well-supplied kitchen and a nice-sized separate sleeping area. The nearby community common building provided additional space for work, complimentary coffee (!) and gathering. We enjoyed using the extensive workout facility but skipped the outdoor pool this time around. A brand new pickleball facility/eatery/bar just opened right across the street. Other food options, grocery, and such are nearby. We absolutely would say yes to another invitation to care for Xena and Mocha.
