I can never saw enough about how truly wonderful Paw Pals is! From the dog walking service, to the daycare, to the overnight home stays and the boarding, we have done it all and each time has been wonderful. They truly treat your pet like their own. Our dog is now 10 and has always been a nervous type. The team at Paw Pals is always so patient and kind and loving with him. I always love getting the reports with how sweet he was with them too! I have and will continue to recommend Paw Pals to all of my friends and family. It is the only place when we leave our pup, we never have to think twice! Paw Pals provided excellent care for Nala while I was away! Given that she's a working line German Shepherd, I was worried about meeting her mental and physical activity needs during boarding. However, Paw Pals kept her active, engaged, and stimulated with walks, puzzles, and playtime. Brittanie was incredibly responsive and reassuring when I checked in, even sending extra photos for my peace of mind. They continuously refine and improve their practices to be inclusive of all types of dogs, from their daycare program and individual enrichment activities to on-site training and even micro groups for selective dogs. I can not thank the Paw Pals team enough. We got our puppy in the middle of winter, so it was challenging to find ways to help him socialize with other dogs and people. I am so happy we found Paw Pals! Jet was nervous the first time he walked in, but after that, he always walked in with a smile and a wagging tail! They are very accommodating when we send him (3-4 times a month). We don’t send him often, but the few times he has attended daycare shows that it helped him feel comfortable around new dogs and people. We feel at ease knowing he is with kind professionals, exercising and socializing, and the pictures they send us make our day. I can tell the owner is diligent with whom she hires and is a kind and caring professional. Their website is straightforward and easy to navigate. The Paw Pals team has been excellent taking care of my pup as I transition back to working in the office! From the dog walking team to the day care and boarding team not only do they keep me updated but they keep my dog very happy. The team also is very accommodating when my schedule changes. Paw Pals is the best - our dogs love to go there. The last time we boarded them, Paw Pals literally saved our summer vacation - one of our dogs needed a visit to the vet while we were away (non serious but needed to go) and the owner took her for us so we didn’t have to disappoint our kids and cut our trip short. They always take great care of our babies and go above and beyond.

To say Paw Pals is an amazing day care/boarding facility would be an understatement. I have trusted Brittanie and her team with my fur baby since 2021. The Paw Pals team have loved on and cared for my baby as if he is truly apart of their family. I have always been exceptionally pleased and grateful for their care, attention to detail with enrichment activities and the health & welfare of my fur baby, and frequent updates/communication to include pictures. Our dog is a "challenging" dog....highly anxious and sometimes downright nasty! We were concerned when we had to board her due to an illness in our family, but Paw Pals did an outstanding job of taking care of her. The facility is new and clean. The staff are friendly, helpful, and all lovers of the dogs. We will use Paw Pals again when we have the need, and we are very grateful for the service they supplied, especially the daily "report card" emails.

My two dogs totally enjoy their time spent at Paw Pals. They love coming and can’t get inside fast enough to play with staff and friends. Staff is super friendly and always make me feel as though my guys are welcome there. It’s the best doggy day care I have ever used.

My dog Blaze goes absolutely insane with excitement when I mention going to Peaceful Pup to see Lauren! He normally has separation anxiety when it comes to leaving me, however, when we arrive at Peaceful Pups, he leaps out of the car and runs right to the door. He has a wonderful time and I totally trust Lauren with my fur baby!

As a first time dog owner my family and I were nervous to trust anyone with our puppy. However, we felt an immediate connection with Lauren. She was knowledgeable, professional, and so kind. My dog loved her from their first interaction. She has helped us with tips, walking, boarding, and she has been so easy to work with. We had a large party and we wanted to eliminate the worry that comes with non dog owners and doors being inadvertently left open. So we asked our vet for a sitting service. Peaceful pups was recommended. And after meeting Lauren, we found a perfect and safe place for our dog. It was our first worry free party in ages. I cannot sing the praises of Peaceful Pups Dog Care loudly enough. My dog had a rough passage prior to coming to my home. He endured losing a leg in Hurrican Marie in Puerto Rico. Peaceful Pups has worked with me to overcome his reactive quirks so he can have a much better life. I never worry for a second when he is in Lauren's care. She is a dog whisperer extraordinare. My dog howls when he knows she is coming. Praise from a pup who has had a tough time. THAT says it all!!

I was trying out to see if this place would be a good fit for my pup cause i know my pup is usually very anxious. Unfortunately things didn’t work out as i hoped but that’s okay! Because i appreciated how much this place communicated with me and heard my concerns about my pup. They did their very best to make my pup comfortable and that’s all i can ask for. The staff is super sweet and very understanding. I’m hoping that with more training my pup will be able to gain the confidence he needs to be able to come back here cause that’s how great they treated us. They are aware of how to make sure the place is safe for furry friends and that’s what is important! Thank you guys for doing your very best and being patient with my pup. I’m hoping i can return when he is more ready!

We’ve taken our two dogs here twice now. Once for their evaluation and once for doggy daycare. The staff is really friendly and explained things well. The moment we pulled up to the parking lot for their day of daycare, the dogs wanted to run inside. They were greeted by friendly humans and went running to go play that they didn’t even say bye. When we picked them up, they were excited to see us but weren’t running out of the door. They went back to say bye to the staff there. They came home exhausted but very happy. I got a video seeing how they were doing which gave me some piece of mind and they do little activities for holidays which I LOVE. My dogs are my fur babies and it feels like they understand that.

Took our two dogs there for day care before we board them this weekend. Sounds like they had a great time and played with the other dogs. They are absolutely exhausted! Guess we will all sleep well tonight 😌 …

Love love love this place - the staff takes great care of my rambunctious 2 boys. They are always so friendly, nice and polite. The themed parties are too cute, I can't wait to see photos they post ( this was them at prom) Really this is the only place I want to tale my dogs to.

Be careful leaving your dog in the care of this location. There has been surveillance video footage of the abuse of Charlie (GSD). Check out @ABC7NY tiktok video posting from yesterday 9/20/24. Had the employee whistleblower not show the footage to Charlie’s owner, he would have never knew, other dog owners that leave their dog here would’ve been oblivious, and that manager that abused Charlie in two instances would’ve still been working here. But according to the video they said the manager has been fired. And here is the proof before the Google business account owner/ runner wants to deny these claims. This is footage of the GSD Charlie that is also featured in that TikTok video by ABC7NY News.

I picked up my chocolate lab axle this weekend after a seven day boarding. When I received him he had a raw nose on the top of his bridge. Upon asking the staff what happened. They stated that it was that he was sticking his nose underneath a gate. And that’s what probably caused it. I’ve used your services times before and never had an issue. Till now. I hope that this does not scar my dogs nose. Right now at the moment it is discolored unfortunately. and maybe the facility can assure that this does not happen to other dogs.

They took great care of my Kenna and made sure she had a fun and safe experience. The facilities are clean, spacious, and well-maintained, with plenty of room for the dogs to run around and play. The service was top-notch, from the convenient drop-off and pick-up to the flexible scheduling and reasonable pricing.

Very caring staff. They take good care of the Peace4Paws dogs. They are very helpful to our volunteers as well. They have helped facilitate adoptions. They care about the rescue dogs and the client dogs very much!

I have been using Best Friends for many years. I used them with my sweet dog Lucy and now with my new dog Hazel. At Best Friends they are friendly, patient and accommodating. I know when I bring Hazel there for an extended period of time she is in good hands. I can see her play on the dog camera, and I watch her socialize with the other dogs. When I pick her up, I know she had fun, and she is extremely exhausted from all the excitement and activities. One day, I plan on taking her to the doggy day care so she can have fun when I am at work. Oh, and one last thing they also have grooming so when I pick her up, she is soft and clean.

We have been taking our dog Daisy to Best Friends in Chestnut Ridge for about 3 yrs for both day care and boarding since she was a puppy. John and all of the staff there are so caring and show her so much love. I know that she is very well cared for when she is there because she gets very excited when we drop her off and comes home very happy and content. The grooming services are great too. Daisy always comes home smelling fresh and clean. The staff is also very accommodating and helpful. I'm thankful we have a place that we trust to care for Daisy!

I have been taking my dog Leo to Best Friends Pet Hotel for the past year. All experiences have been great. The staff truly loves dogs, easily evidenced by Leo being so excited every time we walk inside. Victoria and John are always there to greet us and are both very helpful. Within the past year, I have also used their grooming services, and Jackie always does a great job.

He gets SO excited when he walks in but particularly when he sees Jackie & Victoria too! I love that all the staff truly care and make you feel they love your pup just as much as you do! I always feel better knowing the BF team are taking care of my lil guy! I highly recommend the day camp & Jackie’s baths. Both are affordable rates & I always make sure to tip for the bathing AND the staff .. you can do both separately which I think is great!

When I picked up Luna from her 2 night stay she was clean and didn't seem to want to leave lol. I am happy I found this place because I feel like I can actually trust that she'll be okay while we're away.

Best Friends is the only boarding facility I found in the area that has real fenced-in grassy areas and takes the dogs out each morning and afternoon for potty breaks. The other boarding facilities advertise "all day play" to hide the fact that the dogs there never seen sunlight or fresh grass. I trust Best Friends with my pup and will continue to use Best Friends in the future!

We've had a great experience with Fetch! I don't like sending my pup to a kennel, I prefer to send her to a home. Diane with Fetch has kept her for us a few times now and it's always been a very positive experience. Zelda comes home happy, calm and relaxed every time.

We have been using Fetch for over 10 years now and have not had a single bad experience. We have used several sitters and all have been wonderful. Fetch makes boarding your dog a treat for the owners and the pups. Recommend this service very highly.

We have been using Mike as our dog walker. He is the best!! He is great with our 2 dogs. They absolutely love him!! He gives me daily updates on how they did on their walks. We also have a few cats and one had surgery and when Mike came to walk our dogs he would also give a little extra love to him and also let me know how he was doing when he was there. Fetch is awesome!! I would recommend them to anyone.

I have used Fetch in Boise, Idaho and Burbank, California and was very impressed with the quality of the pet sitters in each city. Then I used Fetch in Ridgewood and was not disappointed! The pet sitters were easy to work with but, most of all, they treated my dog like their own. When I picked up my dog, Buddy, from an overnight with Amy, I knew she passed the test with flying colors because as I held my dog and was saying goodbye, he leaned over and licked Amy right on the nose. Better than the Good Housekeeping seal of approval!!

Fetch really is the best. We've used them for almost 2 years now and I'm so glad that our neighbor recommended them to us. They are always there when we need them, even when it has been last minute. I'm always amazed at how quickly they respond to emails and texts when I need a last minute walk or visit. Our primary sitter is amazing with our dog and on the very rare occasion when she is not available they have a backup team (who our dog got to know in advance) that is equally fantastic. Can't say enough nice things and I honestly don't know what we'd do without them.

Fetch Pet Care made sure my cat was well attended while I was on vacation. This was my first time using a pet care service and Janice answered all my questions and put me at ease. Nicole did a great job and was very reliable. I will definitely be using them again in the future!

Dealing with Janice at Fetch and Debbie our sitter/walker that was assigned to us was one of the more enjoyable encounters we've had with outside contractors. And when it comes to leaving your dog's care in the hands of others, its not always the best experience. Dealing with Fetch was the exception, they were Super Great!

We had been very unhappy with the service we used prior to finding North Jersey Dog Walking. We were about to go on a trip last minute and called Lee. He was so easy to deal with and set us up right away with Lee P. to take care of our 2 dogs. She blew us away - she was beyond reliable, sent pics of our dogs daily, and let us know how they were doing. Our last service were so unresponsive we are thrilled to have found Lee & Lee. Our dogs love Lee and we are so relieved to have found a service that we will use for a long time!

Words cannot express how thankful we are to have found such an amazing dog walking service. My husband and I both work long hours and have a very energetic goldendoodle that we love to pieces. I won’t go into detail but we previously had 2 other dog walking companies that forgot to walk our sweet Sadie and another that forgot to pick her up for doggie daycare. My husband found Lee’s number online and he gave him a call. Within hours our current dog walker Mike was at our house meeting Sadie and myself. I explained everything to Mike and he assured me Sadie would be in good hands. Just about a year later the only regret we have is not finding them sooner. Mike texts after each walk and gives me updates on Sadie, lets me know if she seems off, and even lets me know how great her haircut looks after she’s been groomed. Lee is always available either by phone or text. I’ve texted last minute because I would be stuck late at work, had family emergencies, or even have been sick and they have never said NO! They are always super flexible, reliable, and love Sadie almost as much as my husband and I do. We don’t know what we would do without them!

Love this company. My dog walker is so good with my dog and my dog loves him. He and I are both flexible with times, which works for both of us. He always texts me ahead of his arrival so I can get my dog ready. Both the dog walker and the head of the company are really nice people to deal with. I couldn't be more happy.

I’m so relieved to have found them! They helped us out in a pinch early on in my puppy’s life and now they are our go to. We had to use another place one weekend that our dog hated so much that he wouldn’t get in the car for the next trip. Once we arrived at Dan’s place (instead of the other) my puppy was visibly relieved and charged for the entrance. He LOVES it here. Cameras are a nice touch. Staff is excellent. 10/10

Pampered Paws is the best! I can’t say enough nice things about Dan and his crew. They are amazing. They offer grooming, boarding, and doggie daycare. Each service is exceptional! We are thrilled to have a place that is so clean and everyone is nice and caring. Our dog Franny absolutely loves going there. No goodbyes or sad faces when we drop her off, she’s like “see-ya later” and leaves us while she is running inside. This makes my heart happy. Most importantly, I know Franny is safe, happy and gets lots of love there. She comes home from daycare and boarding relaxed and content. I sent my puppy there for the first time this weekend. they were so nice such good people, my dog loved it, I was a little worried since my dog didn't get along with other dogs so well. but wonders ever since I picked him up he's a new puppy so friendly and fun I take him to the parks and he loves playing with other dogs now. he is such a different and better dog. I definitely recommend this place as #1 they're so good with the dogs and the dogs loves it,

The best compliment is that Murphy loves it As soon as I turn the corner he wants to jump out the car. This is Murphy’s weekend spot. The staff is amazing they are so nice and professional and Dan is absolutely amazing best groomer in Rockland he caught an ear infection early on and saved me a costly vet bill Dan is caring, compassionate and runs a great day. Care/kennel/grooming. Again if Murphy is happy that speaks volumes!!!!!!😍

Pampered Paws is an outstanding place! I have a dog that gets nervous about grooming but Dan and his staff make my dog feel comfortable. He always comes back happy and looking perfect! Thankfully, Dan noticed an issue with my dog's back leg recently which led us right to the vet. A diagnosis of Anaplasma (a tick born disease) was treated with antibiotics. Dan noticed it before anyone in my family did. Dan pays tremendous attention to all of the dogs and was instrumental in keeping my dog healthy. Thank you Dan!!! There is no one better!!!

Thank you Pampered Paws My difficult dog Lionel, finally found a place where he is happy. Dan and his staff took the time and had endless patience to deal with his seperation issues and fear of other dogs. They went above and beyond to ensure he was settled in, calm and safe. They never gave up on him. Lionel and I are incredibly grateful for their obvious love and dedication to the dogs under their care.

Best place ever!! I'm usually skeptical about where I leave my dog but she had the best time and they took really good care of her so I can go to the yankee game. My favorite hotel allows dogs and now I know she don't have to be lonely. I will definitely come back and I recommend this lovely place to everyone. Just leave me a space.

The staff is SO amazing, the place is very clean.Our puppy had the most incredible time!! Super trustworthy and Just the best!! Highly recommend! I had a 3 month old puppy and had to go away. I was very nervous. Dan the owner completely put me at ease. He was so accommodating. He always texted me right back. There were web cameras in facility so I could monitor my baby. I was sent little videos to ensure his well-being. I even got to face time him. The facility was also convenient and easy to find. There are woods and a trail behind the center for walks. Also, because I had to leave him a few days I received a free wash and nail clipping. Cannot recommend enough! I will definitely use again!!!

Absolute best place! They have caring people taking care of your loving pet! My dog loves being there and loves hanging out with the staff all day. Only a few months after a total hip replacement I trusted them with my dog and they took great care of him. I will always use them!

Max loves Pet Lodge! He goes for daycare to get a play date, and he boards there when we have to travel when he doesn't get to go with us. The staff are great and go above and beyond to take care of the pets. They have grooming facilities, too!

This place is great for boarding or grooming. The staff all totally love dogs. They are all very experienced. The groomers have decades of experience also. They do a great job with my poodles. Pet lodge has been an absolute heaven-sent for my dog (and me)! My dog isn’t the most affectionate dog. She loves to show aggression and teeth 😈 🤦🏻‍♀️ but Jac and the entire team just know what to do. Their love for dogs is expressed by how well they take care of each and every dog—catering to what a dog needs individually. I appreciate how well they groom and how fast they can do it, as well. I picked up my dog in less than two hours for a full groom! Also, easy to make appts. I usually book via email. Matty at the front desk is super sweet and welcoming. That’s another plus! Thank you Pet Lodge for being so great to Maggie (and again, me)!!!

My dogs had a great experience at the Pet Lodge. The facility is clean, and the staff is caring and attentive. They also got a bath and nails done. All three of them came back happy after their seven day vacation. I will be using them again.

This place felt misleading as I was under the impression it was more of a farm style to lodge your dog as I'm not a fan of boarding them traditionally. As soon as I arrived, my dog was taken somewhere. Meanwhile, they handed me a sheet of paper asking me to sign it when it just had her name and how much she ate on it. Then they tried to send me on my way. I had to ask to be shown around as to where they kept the dogs during the day and at night. In the two minutes I was "shown" the property, my dog was nowhere in sight. Upon departure, I had let them know a generic time of when I'd be back to pick her up. Ie Monday morning. Upon arriving at almost 11am to pick her up, my dog was still locked in the kennel. Not only did she smell of urine but her whole butt was raw from god knows what. I didn't see the owners once even though this is really just their house with an addition and a caged in backyard next to a cemetery. You can only pay with check or cash and things seemed quite transactional. I personally don't recommend and am quite shocked by the glowing reviews. My dog was very excited to leave.

I recently took my bernedoodle to Pet Lodge and Day Spa for grooming, and I am thrilled with the experience. Jac and his team were friendly and attentive, making my dog feel comfortable from the moment I walked in. The groomers were skilled and knowledgeable, delivering an exceptional grooming service that left my dog looking great. The facilities were clean and well-maintained, and they're in the process of installing brand-new epoxy flooring throughout the entire facility showcasing their commitment to hygiene. I highly recommend Pet Lodge and Day Spa for anyone seeking professional and caring grooming services for their furry companions.

I took my 12 year old Shih Tzu, Chanel, here for the first time since Petsmart Grooming rejected her after she’s been going there for years. The entire staff is so welcoming and Jac truly took such great care of my Chanel girl. We are so grateful to have found such great groomers. 1000/10 recommend!!!!

The Pet Lodge is a wonderful facility for your fur baby. My dog loves playing in the spacious, safe, and well-supervised yard. The staff truly loves and cares for your pet, and it shows! My fur baby runs right in and knows he will be very well taken care of. He loves playing with all the other dogs too. It's like a home away from home:) We are so grateful for all they do!

This is only the 2nd online review I have ever posted and I run an EdTech company. Pet Lodge is an active, busy place because the owners and staff create lots of loyal clients. Whether we are lodging our dog, or getting him groomed, we are never disappointed. These folks care about their clients first - the dogs, and do it well.
