Stanley, our 9 month old miniature dachshund had the best weekend with Allen, Claire and their family!! We were kept up to date with photos and videos all weekend and they looked after him as if he was part of their own family! It was Stanley’s first weekend away but it was clear he had the best time and we will definitely be booking Stanley back in for a mini break!! We would 100% recommend 😊

Our golden retriever Holly stayed with Claire, Allen & their children for a long weekend in their lovely home with a big garden for her to run around in. I was kept updated with pictures whilst we were away and Holly looked like she had the best time with lots of walks & cuddles. Claire & Allen are very professional, making sure they understood Hollys needs before they looked after her. When I went to collect Holly, she was so happy & comfortable in their home, I’m pretty sure she didn’t want to leave! I will definitely be using them again in the future. Thank you so much again!

Heswall Pet Sitting looked after my dog for nearly 2 weeks whilst I was away on holiday. They were so reassuring and sent regular updates. He was clearly very well cared for and happy there. The loving family environment gave him a home from home experience. Would definitely recommend.

We used Allen and Claire for our puppy who we had never left, we couldn't have wished for a better family to look after Otto. They sent lot's of photos and we felt really happy knowing Otto was being well looked after. A special mention to their son, on the day we introduced Otto to the family, their son played with him the entire time, they are a lovely family who love dogs and that comes across immediately. Alan and family are great - Doug had a brilliant time for his first night away from home at only 12 weeks. He was relaxed and happy and is already booked in for more stays.

I have used Petpals since I moved into the area almost 2 years ago and I am so glad I found them! Jim walks my dog 3 times a week. Some days I have to swap days with short notice if my work plans unexpectedly change, and nothing is ever any trouble for him. Bobby goes absolutely wild with excitement when Jim comes to get him, and this is my testament to the service he provides. I wouldn't even give a star really. I have had surgery and cannot walk my dog at the moment, I inboxed for a price on walking my dog ..... message seen but no reply. Then sent one asking did they have a price yet .... message seen but no reply. Disappointing will try somewhere else

Honestly couldn't have left my little hamster with anywhere better. I had round the clock messages and updates about him and all my queries were answered within minutes. I was so nervous leaving him for a week but I've never been so at ease. He looked so happy and calm in all the updates and Small Pet Nook truly went above and beyond for him. The price is so so so reasonable and they accommodated any drop off and pick up time which was so helpful. Thanks to Small Pet Nook for giving Hippo the best adventure !!

Couldn’t recommend anyone higher for small pet boarding. Hope had my giant rabbit for a week and I got daily updates with photos and messages. It really made me feel better that I knew he was safe and happy. He can’t wait to come back!!

I have moved from London to the Wirral and have a choc lab, and a Weimaraner. I'm a really fussy person, so couldn't have hoped for a more perfect walk for my doggos. They have had trouble settling into a new environment as they loved their old dog walker, and I couldn't have made the transition more simmingless if it wasn't for pawesome. I love the footage of the walks, love the feedback, and most importantly they love it, they have the love, care and attention needed. If you want dog walkers that love your dog as much as you do, then go for it.

We have been using Bex and the team at Pawesome Walkies for 18 months now. I feel our dog is looked after and he loves his walks with his dog pals. Karen at Pawesome Walkies has been a life saver for us and our 2 dogs. The dogs absolutely love the pack walks and come back happy and ready for a snooze, and Karen treats them as if they are her own - they absolutely love her! I often have to request last minute changes due to a busy job and Karen is always flexible and tries to help, even last minute. Also having Tori as brilliant holiday cover is a massive bonus - there has never been a time I have been left in the lurch with a cancelled walk and 2 dogs sat at home alone all day. They really care about the well being of the animals and go above and beyond to make sure they are happy

I’m usually sceptical about leaving my dogs with anyone cos of past experiences. Decided to give Pawesome Walkies a chance as they came highly recommended from a friend. I must say they did impress me and could form a strong bind with my Rotts. Never seen anyone care for my dogs as their own I’ll highly recommend them for daily walks around Long buckby. Kudos

I highly recommend Karen at Pawesome Walkies for taking such great care of our dog. It’s the highlight of his week when he goes on pack walks and loves boarding with Karen and her dogs, she treats him like one of her own. I wouldn’t trust anyone else!

Can highly recommended Pawesome for peace of mind that your dog is in good hands and will be walked in beautiful open spaces and countryside. This isn't a quick round the block walk and back home. The girls take care to make sure all dogs have a great experience and the benefits we see from our dog socialising on walks are huge. A great team!

We would absolutely recommend Elaine and wouldn’t leave our cats with anybody else! We had always been really anxious about leaving our two cats with someone. One has health needs and some minor aggression issues while the other is an escape artist and a menace who breaks into cupboards (and doors as we found out when we went away!). Elaine came and met both us and the cats twice before we went away and knew all of their needs. We felt very comfortable leaving them in her care. On day one of her visits, she let us know that the cats were in together (they were supposed to be separated so the young one didn’t bully the older one). She made sure they were separated when she left, only for us to see later on the pet cam that they were back in together! The young menace had learned how to open the door between them. Elaine kindly went back for an additional visit and put a door stop against the door, then a second time to put a fire extinguisher against it as the door stop hadn’t stopped him! She sent us photos every day and gave us updates with humour and kindness. We won’t leave them again with anybody else. We would 100% recommend Elaine - she’s an absolute super star!

Elaine looked after our cats really well. It was great to have regular updates and to know that Elaine has the experience and knowhow to deal with any problems which could have arisen. We really appreciated the kind pint of milk waiting on our return! We would definitely use Paws and Claws again.

Elaine looked after our two cats Merlin and Erica for two weeks while we were away - she was brilliant with them, and they both appreciated her visits very much. Lovely place that takes excellent care of guinea pigs (and rabbits - possibly other animals). Send a daily picture too which makes my daughter very happy. Really recommend.

Alison and Andy are brilliant, looked at quite a few places before coming here. Nothing is too much trouble, total confidence that my buns receive the best care here. That's why I have been coming back for years.

We have an elderly rabbit so were worried about using a new kennel for the first time but you receive what's app pictures every morning & when we went to collect him he was fine . Will use again

If you need boarding kennels, then Wynnestay should be your first choice. We have used them for over 20 years and our dogs have always been well cared for and happy on collection. The team of staff are friendly, approachable and very knowledgeable in the dogs needs. I have had dogs that needed regular medication and never had cause for concern that doses would be missed. Our dogs have stayed from young pups to elderly ladies and I never doubted that they would receive the best appropriate care. Lovely kennels, lovely staff, lovely location.

My two dogs Teddy and Tilly stayed for 2 weeks at Wynnestay Kennels & Cattery and all I can say is Thankyou so much for looking after my two fury babies. They came home looking amazing and looked liked they had been looked after excellent . This was the first time we had ever left them there both aged 6 and had always stayed with family but unfortunately they can't anymore. We were upset and very anxious in leaving them and how they would cope but we didn't need to be staff are amazing thankyou again and our bookings are already in again amazing Kennels 10/10

First time we have left our dog here and wasnt impressed at all. Picked him up after a weeks stay and he was filthy with yellow urine stains all around his ankles which has never been an issue with 3 other kennels he has stayed at. He absolutley stunk too. He always usually comes home bathed and smelling fresh and very happy in himself but this time he seems very down and anxious and not himself at all - he was also limping and the pads on his paws look sore and red 😡. Communication with the kennels not great either and the walking time for each dog is only once per day for about 15 mins i was told. I know its a busy time of year but not an issue with other kennels so maybe they need more staff to man the phones, walk the dogs more and give them a bath before getting collected! The kennels themselves are also very grim and not a nice environment in my opinion. I would never leave him here again not ever!

I have been using Wynestay kennels for nearly 2 years now, My little dog Ruby has bad anxiety and cant be left unattended at home so i was recommended by a neighbour here, and I'm so glad that i came! I was anxious at first because Ruby can be reactive to dogs and i explained all of this to Ady and the team, i explained about her probably needing solo walks and they listened to me and completely understood her needs. We use the kennels for the day haven't needed overnight but i wouldn't hesitate to put her in overnight if needed, she goes 2/3 times a week and absolutely loves going! She runs in with her tail wagging and is always greeted with smiles and love which makes me feel so at ease when leaving her. I've noticed since taking Ruby she has become a lot less reactive to other dogs and is so much better on the lead! I recommend Wynestay to all of my doggy friends, it so reasonably priced as well. Honestly i couldn't be happier with the care my Ruby gets and I'm happy and comfortable leaving her each day. Thank you for looking after my Ruby Dogs :)

Word's fail me, my dog was not acknowledged whilst booking in, I paid in cash at drop off, on my return was asked to pay, paperwork checked twice, dog was brought out, none of his bowls, bed or toys in the bag's, (they where on his arrival, ), had to ask how he had been, not even sure the staff like dog's, got the impression "it's a job, "x All cat's and dog's are special to the owner, staff should at least show respect to both dog and owners, at the end of the day, I don't want leave my dog and my dog would prefer to be at home. Think it's about the money not care of the animal,

I recently came to the kennels for work experience for my college course and I have never seen dogs and cats treated so well every dog I had helped with was always so exited to see the staff and the staff honestly do everything for these animals, giving meds and food to the animals at the right times, giving them exercise, and water, they all work so hard to make sure the animals are happy, they go above and beyond for them all. I'm so glad I was able to do my work experience here, I wouldnt want to do it anywhere else, all the staff are amazing and so friendly. I never leave reviews but Wynnestay deserves it, thank you to all the staff for taking me you're all amazing and so sweet!

First time using these kennels and they are just the best. Both dogs have come back so happy and well fed. We loved being able to see where they were sleeping etc. Ty so much for putting my mind at rest.

We dropped labrador Colonel and he couldn't wait to get inside with the handler. We picked him up a week later and he was wild to see us but most importantly he was happy and had been well cared for. We will definitely be returning in the future.

They are so accommodating for both dogs and cats..went to view the cattery and was shown clean chalets with plenty of natural light and plenty of space..the guy who showed us around (looks like a viking) was so pleasant and extremely helpful... highly recommend them

Super field! Very big and secure with some agility equipment around the sides so your dog still has plenty of room to run. the grass was lovely and short. There's a tap and bowl in the field and some emergency poo bags. Great picnic bench. Definitely recommend

Booked the Field for my Sons dog who we are minding whilst they are on holiday. What a superb space, the Field is huge! Our Irish setter just ran and ran for the whole 50 mins. She was being chased by the swallow which was so funny. Lots of agility for the dogs if needed, and fresh water for them too. Have booked again as it was so safe and clean.

Very accommodating and flexible when we needed to board our 2 boys skippy and kyri while at a family event nearby. Would definitely use again without hesitation. we booked the secure dog paddock so we could go in there after we picked them up, as we had a long journey ahead of us, they both loved it. Very secure and you can drive in and unload/load safety.

Haven't used the boarding kennels, but I do use the enclosed field for my reactive dog to run in. Really easy to book, online and a very safe place to run difficult doggos. No outdoor smoking, which I agree with, but I'm a smoker, didn't know....grateful for a nice place to run my boy.

My inlaws use Ivy Boarding Kennels on a regular basis, so we used them for when we went on holiday. They 2 dogs were very well looked after. The staff were lovely and friendly. I liked that there was the shop at the front, especially when it was time to pick them up. We bought them both a treat to greet them with which they were pleased with.

Wonderful company! I have recently moved to the area and my dog loves playing with his friends and goes on group dog walks with wagtails. They post photos every day so you get to see what your little friend gets up to. I also have used their pop in service to fuss my dog if I go out of an evening, it really puts my mind at ease :)

My rabbit, Peggy has just had a little two week holiday staying at the Warren. I had regular updates during her stay. Sheran was a very attentive host. I felt assured that Peggy was safe and being looked after well whilst we were away.

Our Guinea Pigs , Ziggy & Gloria have just had their first stay at The Warren . Fabulous spacious hutch and the care Sherron gave them was wonderful. My rabbit has had her first stay at The Warren and it's excellent. Beautiful spacious runs and cosy hutches. Sherron gives lots of attention to each guest and even managed to brave cuddles with my rather grumpy girl 🤣. We got regular updates and photos of her stay which is reassuring when you leave them. Lots of enrichment and fresh home grown treats. I have already have Ethel booked for another stay..in fact I don't think she wanted to come home. A brilliant holiday home for our rabbits. Everything you could ask for from great hutches and runs, lots of attention and cuddles and even regular bunny updates which our daughter looked forward to every day. Simply excellent and we have already booked in again!

My 2 bunnies had such an amazing staying at The Warren. Sherron looked after them so well .She is such a caring and thoughtful person . Throughout the day they sent me pictures and updated of how the rabbits were doing. The rabbits settled very quickly there and were very comfortable. All the accommodations that they provide are very specious and very secure. I highly recommend this place. They are the best. 😊

Sherren and Cameron at The Warren were brilliant with our three girls, Rose, FiFi and Daisy. They sent frequent pictures and went out of their way to ensure our piggies had the best stay, including creating a bespoke hutch just for them when we had to extend our stay unexpectedly. Wonderful place . Lovely people. I can’t praise them highly enough. Our bunnies were extremely well taken care of by genuine animal lovers who went above and beyond to make sure the bunnies were happy, relaxed, comfortable and well fed. They had lots of attention and cuddles too. Daily what’s ap photos and updates on them really showed how content they were there. I have no hesitation in recommending them and am very grateful to them for the loving care they gave to our bunnies .

Olivia moved into our home for eight days during a recent trip to New York. This was the first time we’ve used a live in sitter to take care of our golden retriever Logan, and cat , Willow. Olivia is incredibly approachable, knowledgeable and experienced in all aspects of animal care. She is reliable and trustworthy. During our time away, she sent us regular updates and photos, which was reassuring. Above all, Logan and Willow were happy and settled being able to remain in the familiar surroundings of their own home. I have no hesitation in recommending Muddy Paws Adventures as a superior alternative to outside boarding💜❤️

Olivia is amazing I would 100% recommend Muddy Paws! Poppy has regular walks with Olivia and we have just returned from a weeks holiday which for the first time was completely relaxing because we didn’t worry about Poppy once. Olivia looked after our Ozzy while we went on our first break away from him since Covid hit. He’s an anxious boy with health conditions that needs regular daily medications, so to say I was nervous about leaving him was an understatement. I received regular updates and pictures while away and I came home to find a very happy fur baby who had clearly not just been looked after but had been loved, cosseted and spoilt. So much so, that he was looking round the house for Olivia after she had left and was very giddy when she came to collect him later that week for his walk. I’ve got absolutely no qualms about leaving him with her and know that he’s more than well looked after while in her care.

Skye has the best adventures with Liv! He can be quite nervous around people but Liv knew exactly how to respond to put him at ease and she has quickly become his best friend. With Muddy Paws Adventures our boy has amazing fun in a great variety of locations. I look forward to the pup dates and can see just what a great time he's having. He always comes home happy and cleaned (I would say tired and he should be but he's a Collie and it's not in his vocabulary 🤣)

I really can’t recommend Olivia enough and if it wasn’t for Olivia we really wouldn’t have any holidays! Olivia has been looking after Buddy for over 2 years now and what a beautiful relationship it is, between Olivia and Buddy but also between myself and Olivia. She is so understanding and totally compassionate about all my worry’s with Buddy and goes above and beyond with updates while we are away. I know he is loved and cared for the same way that he would be by John and myself. Buddy has had his fair share of problems in his little life, he’s had 2 major surgeries on 2 discs in his neck, has a lower back problem, and other Frenchie ailments to look out for! He is also very very excitable! Olivia knows him inside and out, she will give him his medication, she knows his limits and knows what he can and can’t do! Generally nothing changes for Buddy while we are away apart from us not being there, it works perfectly and I couldn’t recommend Olivia enough to anyone who is thinking of going away and concerned about leaving their fur babies. They will be loved unconditionally❤️

Olivia has looked after our dog for almost 6 months, we wouldn’t have anyone else to look after him- he always comes home from his walks clean and very sleepy. He loves Liv, so much so, that he will happily trot off with her without a backward glance to us! We receive regular photos and updates so that we can see him enjoying his day, and this helps to put our minds at rest when we are away. We can’t thank Liv enough for all she does for us- it really is a big weight lifted when you know your dog is well cared for when you can’t be around. Thank you Liv!
