There are truly no words to describe how thankful we are for Allison. We were leaving on a 2 week holiday trip when our pup, Knox, ate something that he shouldn't have and ended up at the emergency vet — coming home only hours before our flight. Allison swooped in like a Fairy Dog Mother ... having to take Knox back to the vet, communicating hourly with us on his status, bringing him home, and lovingly caring for him while he got back to himself. What an initiation! She was so gracious, supportive, and kind about this scary snafu and took the best care of our boy. After all the commotion calmed, she was communicative daily with updates and photos, and we came home to a house that was cleaner than we left it. Allison, thank you for your love, support, and endless patience with Knox. Wishing you all the best on your travels and you're welcome back in our home in Portland anytime!
I'm not going to lie: The fourth picture in Chris's profile basically sold me on him before I read anything else. Anyone who is willing to put on a silly hat and pose next to someone else's dog on the floor already feels like my kind of pet sitter! The rapidly of his replies and video chat we had later that evening just solidified those feelings. We got a chance to chat briefly in person the morning he arrived, and as he settled in, we ran him through The Girls routine and the more relevant info to keep them fed, happy and the house running smoothly. They had loved on him immediately upon his entry to our home and only seemed confused by how tall he was (I'm 5'6" and my wife is 5'4"), so once we're all vaccinated, we clearly need to get them out of the house more to realize most people in the world are much taller than their parents. :-D Chris kept us updated daily with texts and photos, even when we couldn't always get back to him right away as we were on a work trip, and we returned home to a clean house full of happy pets, live plants and a handwritten note saying he had a wonderful time in Savannah, which is what makes zeewoi so wonderful: Everyone involved benefits! If Chris is headed your way, snatch him up. Your home and pets will be in good hands.
Shalei was a fabulous sitter!! She was reliable, a great communicator, and cared so well for my pup, George! I would highly recommend her!
My wife and I enjoyed taking care of Zona and Saffy. Zona is quite a character! He has a catflap and goes outside whenever he wants during the day. Sometimes he'll be outside for hours, but always returns for something to eat or to rest for a while. You'll never have to guess when he's hungry. He'll let you know with some friendly meowing while sitting right next to his food dish area! Saffy is also very cool. It's fun to watch her munching on kale, cucumbers and tomatoes. She's a good eater! We had warm weather during our visit so she was able to spend some hours in the back garden inside her little enclosure. Nicky and JC are a friendly and considerate couple. We visited a few days before our stay and they showed us around the place. We met Zona & Saffy, and chatted for a while about travel and places. Their house was very comfortable and clean, and there was a nice wine waiting for us when we arrived! The location is on a quiet street that's a ten minute walk to Wimbledon Station. There's also a quick bus for when you're tired. From the station there are several options for easy travel to London. It's an excellent location! We enjoyed ourselves very much during our visit to London. Thank you Nicky and JC for trusting us to care for Zona and Saffy!
