Everything was as described, blue is so sweet and wanted a lot of attention. Danielle was helpful with which routes are better to walk (there are a lot of dogs in that area and some of them are more aggressive)
Handyman and Iota are sweet little characters- Lil Punkin and Sweet Tatie are great - the place is beautiful and Gay is lovely!
It was a pleasure to stay in Lee and David’s beautiful home and look after their pets while they were away. I was made to feel very welcome, communication was excellent throughout and I was given clear information about the animals’ requirements and routines. Boris is friendly, affectionate and well-behaved, with excellent recall - I had absolutely no qualms about letting him off the lead. He never seemed to tire of chasing his ball! There is a lovely park very nearby, as well as longer walks around the city. The two cats were just as delightful. I barely saw Ziggy during the day, although he would magically appear if I happened to open the fridge where the prawns were kept! (His special treat.) Kirabelle, on the other hand, was happiest with a lap to sit on and, if none was available, would wait patiently nearby until I sat down again. Winchester is an interesting and friendly city. As well as the cathedral and other places suggested by Lee, I highly recommend a visit to Proudfoot and Co. in St. Thomas Street, to sample one (or more!) of their exquisite drinks. All in all, it was an enjoyable stay, despite the cold weather! I would definitely recommend this sit.
Looking after Rosie & Margot for 9 days was a delight. They are both really affectionate & well behaved. They live in a beautiful & comfortable home in the centre of the island with fabulous walks all around. Justine was a very generous & welcoming host. Communication with her was swift & easy. We loved every second of this sit and hope one day we can care for the girls again.
I arrived at the sit the evening before their departure. Raymond, Jeanine and family were very friendly and accommodating, showing me through the house and describing the animals routines. They remained accessible during the sit to answer questions. Lovely dedicated guest area. Luna is a beautiful, affectionate active dog who enjoys her walks. Storm and Roxy kept to themselves except when plied with treats. I enjoyed the sit and highly recommend it.
