Doris and Dustin were absolutely amazing. It was so reassuring knowing that Gigi and Karma were in kind, safe and reliable hands. They sent pictures and updates daily and checked in to clarify things when they had any questions. They left the house in immaculate condition. I would not hesitate to have them come and sit again. Dia

Dia and her family were lovely, well-organized and easy-going. They managed two tricky situations without any trouble. They communicated well both before and during the stay. I got a couple of photos and updates which was just enough! They went above and beyond in leaving things clean and tidy. My dog Sheila was well cared for and she almost decided to go with them when they left!

Rachel

Rachel was one of our favorite sitters! I was a little concerned as the communication wasnt the best prior to the sit (long delays in responding). She had Shannon over a few days and her best friend on different days. We permitted it after meeting them, and trusting her. She was good about letting us know when something was wrong or broken. She also did a lot of changing things around in our home to accommodate what was desired. I understand as there was a bit of clutter in places. However, things were not always put back where they were and we have struggled to find several things. In some instances, the place looked better! Rachel was easy going and friendly. She graciously accommodated our needs for flexibility in the travel times. The animals all seemed happy and well so that meant the most! And she sent pics as requested! If she lived closer, she’s the kind of woman I could hang out with! With all this said, We would love to have her and Shannon back for a future sit, and the animals would be delighted too!

Julianna & Adam

This is the second time Julianna and Adam have taken care of our home, plants and cat and we hope it won't be the last! We had our first baby this year, so we were even more grateful to have peace of mind with regards to our sit as it would be one less thing to worry about and with Julianna and Adam it was a breeze - everything just went so smoothly, they gave us their travel plans well in advance, we had a catch up call ahead of time, once here they gave us regular updates and always checked in when they had any concerns or questions about Newton and our home. When we got back, the place was spotless, we had an extensive report on all that had been done and our kitty was in very good spirits having obviously been very well cared for in our absence. Not only are Julianna and Adam great sitters, taking wonderful care of our place and pet, but they are just absolutely lovely people as well who we enjoy exchanging with and love learning about their adventures in our homeland. It is lovely to share a bit of our home with them and we highly recommend them to anyone seeking a sitter.

Kathy was great given the quick routine run through before leaving for the airport. But she was a trooper. I left detailed instructions which she read and had questions for when we landed and communicated the first time. I would trust her with Hayden and Cooper again.

Sydney

Sydney was an excellent house and pet sitter! She was super communicative both in planning and during the sit! She took amazing care of Luna and Lynx and our house. She was sure to ask us questions and send us pictures of the girls while we were gone. Our house was cleaner when we returned! Would love to have her back anytime!!

Came home to a very happy pet and organized home. Michael was an excellent pet sitter for my cat hunter. He was communicative throughout the trip sending lots of pictures and even handling a complete replacement of my washer/dryer unit in my apartment! He also made sure I had fresh sheets and a clean place as soon as I arrived. And also picked up my packages and mail while I was away. I plan to keep in touch and use him again for future pet sits!

Scott & Rafael

Scott and Rafael were amazing sitters! They sent updates regarding the house and our dog, and they always responded in a timely manner. We had a long travel day coming back home and when we arrived, we saw our house was left very clean, they wrote us lovely handwritten notes, and left flowers in the vase. We could tell our pup had a great time with then and he was very well taken care of. Scott and Rafael are welcome back anytime!

Catherine was great! She took Jake for long walks and he enjoyed her company enough to even start sleeping in the room with her. It made our vacation much more relaxing to know that our dog was in good hands. She managed things in our home well and we came home to a sweet gift. You would be fortunate to have Catherine stay with your pets.

Amanda was great with my dog! She was very communicative and kept me updated the whole time I was gone! She also took awesome care of my plants! Its so hard to find someone who does plants right!

Wow, such a great sit! I had a pretty long list of things I wanted to do during my stay in Eltham, but I only crossed off a fraction of them because I enjoyed hanging out at their place so much...Particularly in the back garden. Kat and Marc's home is beautifully decorated, spacious (yet cozy), and has every amenity one could need. It's also in a great location with plenty of fun spots to eat/drink, places to take a relaxing stroll, and many convenient connections to other parts of the city via bus and train.

I was lucky to meet Kat and Marc before their departure, and what a pleasant couple they are! So fun to get to know and have a chat with. They offered some great recommendations of places to go during my stay (The Rusty Bucket Pub and All In A Pickle are both fantastic), and they could not have been more welcoming to me. Such a lovely couple to know :)

As for Bernard and Clem, well they were the best part of all! Getting to know their separate personalities (they're brothers) was so fun and amusing - from their little eating quirks to different play habits. What a delightful couple of cool cats! I will miss looking after them dearly, though they have the best parents in Kat and Marc. All my thanks to them, I look forward to keeping in touch!

Bobbilee

This was absolutely one of the best times ever! Shing is the sweetest, best trained golden doodle. We loved getting to spend time with her. Bobbilee was super responsive and her home is absolutely beautiful. Loved getting to walk Shingobee by the beach everyday.

Sue

Max and Lexi are the happiest little dogs and super easy to look after. They loved their walks in nearby parks or woods and spent most of the days chilling out with us in the living room or garden. They often had us in fits of laughter with their little traits like letting us know when it’s dinner time. Both dogs were so easy going and happy to be brushed, given tablets, or left alone for a couple of hours. We’ll miss them a lot!

What a wonderful house sit ! Tanya, Gerry and Louis have been amazing hosts.
The house is simply beautiful and the region breathtaking. We stayed during the Christmas holidays with our two young kids and there was plenty to do and to see. We enjoyed the beautiful walks all around the house, went to see prehistoric caves, medieval cities and their castles. We also spent quite some time in Gerry and Tanya's spacious but very cosy home. The place has everything you need.
The kids and us loved looking after the animals - we enjoyed the long walks with Sissi and James, who will follow you everywhere. Ella was a treat, too, and very easy to take care of. It was also easy looking after the chickens and Garfield the cat - who just loves cuddles.
Tanya and Gerry cooked for us when we arrived, and gave us all the information we needed to look after the house, animals, but also to enjoy ourselves as tourists. They made sure we were super comfortable and even left us Christams gifts, which was incredibly sweet. Tanya made sure the kids had some toys to play with (thank you Louis). Communication was very easy. What a relaxing break we had, thank you.

We had a great time taking care of Rocco for a weekend. Guy and his wife were lovely and very welcoming showing us around the house and introducing to Rocco before they left for their trip. Their house is very comfortable and in the great location in the city. The bus stop is almost immediately next to the entrance so it’s very convenient for anyone that’s traveling without a car. 
Rocco is a very energetic dog but we had no problems while taking care of him. He loves his walks and play time but he’s very well behaved at the same time. We are very happy with our time in Colchester with Rocco!
