Jing and her three daughters stayed at our home while we were away visiting family during the holidays. Even though Jing is an accomplished human endocrinologist, she had no experience with a diabetic cat. Nevertheless, she took it upon herself before the trip to practice shots and drawing blood from a cat's ear to measure glucose levels at a local veterinary clinic. She really went above and beyond before she arrived so she could be informed and prepared--there was little we needed to explain about taking care of our diabetic cat when they showed up at our apartment as Jing learned it all before she stepped in the front door. I cannot express how fortunate we are to have found a housesitter who is a university professor specializing in diabetes! Though I was initially concerned about having children in the apartment, Jing's three beautiful daughters seem to be sweet, incredibly well behaved, and adore cats. Throughout the trip, Jing kept us informed by text message several times a day on how the cats were doing and sent us adorable photos. Upon arriving home, there was little evidence that they had spent the week there as the apartment was left super clean and tidy, and Ruby and Olive seemed to hardly notice that we were gone. One of the younger girls likes plants, and she took good care of my huge collection, watering the plants that needed it as per my instructions. It's been difficult for us to trust strangers with the big responsibility of giving insulin and pills to our beloved Ruby, but Jing and her daughters turned out to be such a blessing in our time of need. I could not recommend Jing more highly as she is competent, reliable and a clear communicator, taking care of our apartment and cats like they were her own. We could enjoy our vacation without any worry. You'd be lucky to have Jing as your housesitter!
Wow! Shelly and Alexsia really surpassed all expectations. This was our very first time on zeewoi; so, from the start, they were educating us on how to proceed, how to book how to communicate effectively, etc. Now, I can't really say how WE did, but I can certainly report on how THEY did: Amazing! We got updates of a happy and healthy dog, they figured all the homes ins & outs for themselves, they communicated without any sort of vacation-invasion, and they left the house cleaner than when they found it. Truly, if I could give Shelly & Alexia 10 stars, I would absolutely do it. Book them NOW if you match =)
Daniel took wonderful care of our dog and our home. He learned all about our pet and our home before we left and was always quick to contact us if he had a question. He sent regular updates and pictures of our pet and it was clear that our dog was having a great time. When we returned our home was cleaner than when we left - we would love to have him back anytime!
