Sandra is an excellent house sitter and cat caretaker. She took great care of our two kitties for over six weeks. She reliably managed our house and plants. Upon our return, everything looked neat and tidy and the cats were relaxed and happy. What more could you want! We would be pleased to have her sit for us again.

Claire
We recently had the pleasure of sitting for Claire's place in Chicago taking care of Cas!
Claire was communicative all throughout the sit from start to finish. She sent clear, concise, and detailed information on how to care for Cas as well as her apartment which made it very easy for us.
The apartment is located in a super convenient location right by the heart of downtown - walkable distance to the River walk, Millennium Park, restaurants, bars, grocery stores - you name it. The beautiful Christmas decorations made the place feel extra homey.
Cas is an affectionate and playful cat, but will make his own decision on when that happens. Whilst shy at first, once he puts his bum out in front of you, you pet his tail snub and give him some treats and he will start loving ya! With Claire's automatic feeder and litter box Cas is very low maintenance. We miss him already!
We are grateful for the experience and would highly recommend sitting for Claire. We would definitely love to sit again if the opportunity arises.

Liane
I had a lovely weekend with Ivy! She is quite a low maintenance kitty, with a sweet little cry when she wants to play or be stroked. She has a beautiful white belly & stretches right out for belly rubs!
Liane & Nick have a comfortable, beautifully finished home in a great location near the park. They showed me around, explained everything before they left & were very welcoming. Liane kept in touch during the sit.
I didn’t cook whilst there, but their kitchen is well designed & well equipped. There are also plenty of entertainment options.
I highly recommend!

We review with love and honesty, so future sitters can find where they fit best. Canberra is a modern city on the south end of Australia.

PETS: Nelson dog, Mal dog, and Romeo the parrot. They are a sweet and lively group. Nelson, a Spoodle, was skittish the first few days, then became very affectionate. Mal, a Basset Hound, is also a sweetheart. Both can be quite vocal at times.

Romeo the parrot is also a talker. He warmed up in a few days, doesn’t bite hard, and likes to be on your shoulder once or twice a day. Nose kisses once he knows you better :-)

Care - daily feeding for all. Dogs have a patio to use for bathroom breaks and there is a hose to wash down the pee and plenty of bags to dispose of the poop. We cleaned the bird's cage every other day.

Behavior - we would recommend an attentive couple for this pet stay since they can get very excited sometimes. After a visit to the dog park, they are angels. They will always want to lay on your lap, so expect that you'll have two big boys that think they are lap dogs lol.

The place is a small, yet modern apartment on 1st floor. Building complex comes with a nice gym. Owners provided a car to take the dogs to the dog park. We saw a pack of Kangaroos at the bigger Weston Park :-)

Internet - strong and reliable.
Kitchen - well stocked with electric stove, dishwasher, big fridge, and washing machine.
Great big TV with access to various channels, Netflix and comfy entertainment area with recliners.
Bed - comfy queen bed that you will have to share with at least one dog. You can tell Mal to sleep in his dog bed and he will listen.
Shower - Great bathroom and shower.

Merran and Michael were very helpful, gave us a welcome guide, and tour of the local area with plenty of restaurants, shops, and groceries nearby. Communication was excellent, Merran was always available to answer any questions.

I spent a really comfortable and enjoyable few days looking after the gorgeous Maxi and Anne's house while she was away. Great communication with Anne before I arrived, and during the sit, and we had a useful handover of an hour of so at the start of the sit.
Maxi is wonderful company; he really enjoys a cuddle , regularly climbing up onto my shoulders and purring loudly in my ear, and he likes to snuggle up next to you when you're reading. Just a joy to look after.
Anne's house is lovely and warm and comfortable with everything you could need. It's a nice walk into town not too far away, and, in the other direction, fabulous walks in the countryside. There are also a couple of National Trust properties not too far away.
Everything I look for in a sit, so very much recommended to other sitters.

I had the best time with these four! The location is stunning, surrounded by amazing mountains and beautiful hikes nearby that Cassie and June absolutely loved. All of them have a special personality - Bella and Cassie made me feel welcome from the start and Oscar's curiosity and adorableness kept things fun. Once June found me trustworthy as well, I enjoyed delightful mornings, exciting walks (especially with June jumping and running around) and cuddly evenings with the kitties. I deeply appreciated Kim's warm heart and welcoming spirit, which made me feel right at home. It was an incredibly enjoyable experience, absolutely recommend! Thank you for everything:)

Gail
Gail was a wonderful host! I got to her house a day early and she took me out to dinner and was very kind and fun to talk to. Her communication was also great and she made me feel very comfortable in her home. Her house and pool are both really beautiful and clean; the pictures don't do them justice. As for the animals, I absolutely fell in love with them and had a lot of fun caring for them. Garla is possibly the most precious, lovable dog I've ever met; I really bonded with her and would love to watch her and the kitty gang again :) Gail's house is also in a great area and I felt safe walking Garla at night by myself as the area is very well-lit. If you get the chance to sit for Gail and care for her sweet fur babies don't pass it up! I would absolutely love to sit for her again.
