Florence was lovely— she came to meet us and our cat before the sit and asked great questions. She made fast friends with Phoebe and sent lovely photos during her stay. We came home to a very happy cat and clean home. We asked her to sit again but she was already booked— highly recommended.
I loved my long weekend in Edinburgh looking after Katrina & Gordon’s home. Boba was such a sweet heart and I felt like she was my own. She enjoyed going on walks and was happy to come anywhere with me. She never barked and was very obedient. The sweet cats were low maintenance and very friendly. I had everything I needed in the home and felt right at home. Katrina & Gordon were very welcoming and met me before they headed off on their trip. I really loved my stay, thank you for having g me!
Erin and Matteo were wonderful and warm communicators who left detailed instructions for Fiona's care as well as for their houseplant care. This allowed us to enjoy our sit and focus on caring for Fiona. Her delightful personality is much like our own dog's, except for her diminutive size (10 pounds). She has the ability to walk for long periods, and she knows where she wants to go. She will also bring you back to her house if she is ready to return. She is a lap dog par excellence! The apartment has all the necessities, is beautiful and is well arranged. If you like to read, books are plentiful! The bed is also very comfortable and having Fiona sleep with you is such fun! She wakes up and is ready for a tummy rub and some playful kisses. The kitchen is equipped for cooking, and it was easy to use. The location is lovely for walking and visiting the city. All in all, this house sit is superlative, and Fiona is the star! We look forward to sitting for Fiona in future and highly recommend this sit.
Jim and Lindy were lovely hosts. Their modern 3-storey apartment is located in Wynnum with picturesque views of Moreton Bay that can be seen on the 3rd floor. Charlie and Maggie were great company and they are well known to the locals on their twice-daily walks. They are quite partial to their treats from local cafe owners and fellow dog walkers along the foreshore. The apartment is complete with a built-in lift which was very handy. Due to Charlie and Maggie ageing and experiencing joint pain, it was easier for them to move around the house. They were never far behind me and would often accompany me about the apartment. Jim and Lindy kindly included their car too. This made life so much easier to get to and from appointments and do groceries too. Their daughter Jess and her partner Diego came to stay in between house moves and renovations. Given my recent relocation to Qld having them there was lovely. They were great company, along with their cute little pooch Pippen. I highly recommend this sit. Thank you Jim and Lindy!
This was a great house sit in every way. Jo was friendly and communicative about our arrival, departure, and any question that came up Taking care of Scout and Boo was one of the highlights so far of our eight months trip around Europe. They love a good walk, but also are very content to relax in front of the TV. Brentwood is a lovely London suburb ,that offers all of the amenities of a big city without the hassle, and is a quick train ride to London. We hope we have the opportunity to sit for Jo again.
This was our first sit and it has been an amazing experience from start to finish. We spent a couple of nights with Anne and William in their beautiful home before they left for their holiday and in this short time we felt that we’d known them for years. They where so welcoming and accommodating and they made us feel at home from the outset. Hazel, their two year old chocolate Lab, was just adorable, such a character but so loving. We took her out most days in the car because we wanted to see as much of the local area as we could. Hazel loved all the beach’s that we visited and we really bonded with her during our stay, infact, it was a wrench to leave her in the end. We really hope that one day in the not distant future we will meet Anne , William and Hazel again . Thanks for everything Marg and Phil X
Fabieny and Tim really looked after us. Lovely treats left for the weekend and very clear instructions about Frida's care. They accurately described her strengths and foibles so we felt confident looking after her. Frida was such a sweet natured pup! Still a pup and some crying at night or in the morning but responds to "go to bed" and a reassuring pat. An absolute dream during the day and so good in public. We kept her on the extension lead due to her age and the fact she doesn't know us but excellent manners on lead and recognises the click of when you unlock it so she can try to chase some pigeons which is very funny considering they are nearly the same size as her! So much enthusiasm for walks but more than happy to chill out in her bed with toys when you are back in the flat. We can absolutely recommend this sit! You will fall in love with Frida straight away.
