Having the opportunity to sit this house and Indigo is like winning the sitters lottery! Indigo is a great cat, very welcoming, and the house is simply amazing, specially the kitchen. Célia and Richard were very nice and kind, and provided very detailed instructions in the welcome guide. I would love to have this amazing opportunity again.
We had a wonderful couple of weeks petsitting for Annie and Neil. They were very communicative, friendly and welcoming. They gave us a comprehensive handover (and a delicious dinner!) and made sure that we had everything we needed. Both Tatts and Mozzie are very well behaved with loving personalities. We enjoyed taking them for walks or hanging out at the house with them. The house and property is stunning and they have a large kitchen that was a great place to spend time with the dogs. We also really enjoyed cooking on the Aga and it kept the kitchen warm too! We would highly recommend this housesit and would love to look after Tatts and Mozzie again!
I enjoyed sitting for Eric and Alsion and looking after the inimitable Brodie. Brodie's favourite occupation is being brushed and he would often come and ask for this in a way that could not be misinterpreted. He especially liked to be looking his best before venturing outdoors, although he would sometimes decide the wind might upset his hair so would retreatback indoors. He is a real character . Alison and Eric are a friendly couple who are easy to chat to. They kindly invited me to join them in a meal when I arrived (Eric having picked me up at the nearest railway station) and introduced me to local friends. They also kept in touch while they were away . The house is very comfortable and conveniently located a very short stroll away from the shore. There are lovely walks by various paths into Dornoch which is an attractive town. I enjoyed following the history trail which is signposted around the area. Thank you Alison and Eric for inviting me to sit for you.
Rocky and Magenta are the sweetest! Rocky like his naps and wants to be near you while magenta loves being outside but also loves to snuggle next to you when she’s tired. They are both great walkers and very easy to take care of. Jesse is a great host, she has great stories about adventures she’s been on and has really cool things around her house. I would absolutely sit for them again in the future.
Lindsey was a fantastic communicator and great host. Juniper is super cuddly and playful, you can tell how well cared for and loved she is. Lindsey left very detailed (YouTube video) instructions on how to care for Juniper as well as her 6 fluffy chickens. The house is in a beautiful location; right outside of town and a quick ride to the coast. Having a car was super helpful and extremely generous of Lindsey. 10/10 sit.
