We’ve just finished the most fabulous two weeks of housesitting for Nicky and Mark. It was meant to be two months, but due to the pandemic it turned out to be two weeks. For the months preceding the housesit, we kept in touch and were able to keep arrangements, albeit with changes to the dates. Nicky and Mark genuinely cared about making sure they gave us notice about their plans and ensuring it worked out for us. And I’m so pleased they did and we were able to go. Their home and garden are beautiful, located in a quintessential, English village with a pub and a little shop. There are an infinite number of combinations of walks around the Downs, many starting from the house, but with the use of Nicky and Mark’s car we were able to take Ollie on a multitude of different walks, from fields and forests, to the beach! Ollie is a wonderful dog with limitless energy, thank goodness for all the walks available, and is well behaved. Nicky and Mark did a great job of explaining the commands he follows which made taking him out, off the lead, a breeze. The best bit about looking after Ollie was the cuddles. He loves sitting on the sofa with you or jumping on your lap when you are sitting at the kitchen table, he’s hard to resist. The cats, Eduin and Ella, are around during the day, lounging in their baskets which are at the perfect height for some strokes when one walks past the utility room. They are no trouble at all. The chickens were also no problem and their eggs were a daily treat. Of course I completely recommend sitting for Nicky and Mark and hope that we will be able to sit for them again.
This was a very peaceful and relaxing sit. The kitty's are lovely and very well behaved, little nervous at first but they come around. Everything was well organised and the home is comfortable, I can highly recommended. Thanks Mercia and Beth.
I had a lovely time in Geneva with beautiful Coco, she's very friendly and comes for cuddles when she wants them, often when I was trying to study and she felt that I needed a well earned break. The apartment was lovely and spacious and clean and in a great location, close to the centre, the station, the park and lake. Essien is great at communicating and any time I had a question was able to answer it quickly. Coco was really easy to look after, Essien provided really clear info and direction. I would be more than happy to go and look after Coco again in the future.
I have had an amazing week housesitting for Nienke and looking after her dogs Bear and Stella. Nienke is really kind, welcoming and great to communicate with. Bear and Stella are really sweet, funny (they try to catch flies) and great company to have around. They love long walks, cuddles and to play with a ball and each other. They also enjoy spending time in the garden and just laying with you on the couch. It is a really beautiful apartment with a great location in the Pijp (a nice area very close to the center of Amsterdam). Everything you need is close by such as restaurants, cafes, supermarkets, and parks. And if it isn’t close by there is a great public transportation network. I am going to miss Bear and Stella after the wonderful week I got to spend with them. When you get the chance to look after these two amazing dogs I would definitely take it: you won’t regret it!

A 10/10 host who ensured I had everything I needed, for a comfortable stay. The house is stunning,clean & incredibly safe! We have used Jim Anderson to watch over our 13 year-old Labrador, Cooper, on several occasions, most recently during a two-month trip overseas. Both we (and Cooper!) have been very happy with the experience. Jim's home in the Buenos Aires northern suburbs is compact and has a small garden. That suited Cooper just fine as he doesn't need to run around to expend energy like he did before. Jim fed him and medicated Cooper exactly as we had specified. He also sent us daily updates with photos, which allowed us to know the dog was happy and well. I would be happy to recommend Jim's services.
Our 10-year-old collie/lab mix stayed with Jim for a few days before his big flight to Miami. Jim regularly shared photos, updates. Our dog had a great time and was well rested and ready for his flight. Would absolutely book again.
I left my 15 year old yorkie with Jim for what I thought was going to be a one month trip back home. That one month turned into 9 months. He took such amazing care of my girl - taking her to the vet many times, cooking meals for her, etc. She was truly treated the best she ever has been! I highly recommend him to care for your pet! He also helped me with transport of my dog back to the United States which was a huge help! I’m so thankful we had Jim during our time in Buenos Aires!
