What a wonderful sensory and visual experience this house sit offered! Jan and Bill have a lovely mid-century home on Lake Washington with a view that seems to go on forever. Each room seemed to offer a new daily surprise with interesting books, artwork, posters, and collectibles. Evenings were spent watching movies from the extensive collection of great films on DVDs. Kitties Poppy and Ziggy were another source of entertainment and very easy to care for. Jan left detailed instructions regarding care for the home and cats as well as great tips on where to go in the neighborhood for food, entertainment, hiking trails, and even resale clothes and discount fashion. We very much enjoyed our stay and getting to know our generous hosts via a welcome dinner, frequent email communication, and a good-bye breakfast. We highly recommend this home to future sitters.
Great house and pets, lovely welcoming family. Rolo is the sweetest dog, we had a lot of fun with him. The cats are also lovely, although only one of them will give you the time of day. We love Sevenoaks and the whole area around it.
We had the pleasure of house sitting for Nisha at Anouk's beautiful home, and it was truly a delightful experience. Nisha is a charming and unique cat with her own set of quirks that make her all the more special. At first, Nisha was a bit reserved and took a little while to warm up to us. However, once she got comfortable, her true personality began to shine. One of her favorite activities was drinking from the tap, and it was so cute to watch her playfully paw at the water trickling from the tap. During our stay, Nisha would often find her spot under the TV while we watched movies, almost as if she wanted to be part of the action. She had a quiet, graceful presence that added to the cozy atmosphere of Anouk's home. As the days went by, Nisha's trust in us grew, and we were fortunate enough to receive some cuddles and soothing purrs from her. Anouk was always a message away if we needed anything and she gave us clear instructions and some absolutely great recommendations for highgate area. We would gladly take care of Nisha and Anouk’s beautiful home again.
I had a wonderful time taking care of Larkin! The house and town were a great city break. Not too far from central Edinburgh to get out and explore. The walks near the house were beautiful and gave great views of the city. Larkin was an exceptional companion.
Kelli's housesitting experience really is a cat lover's paradise. The cats are so precious, especially her little Lulu that I have adopted in my heart forever. The pool is so relaxing, especially with the forest backdrop and cats entertaining me. The big community pool is like a resort. Kelli is a fantastic communicator that loves her cats and appreciates her sitters. I enjoyed the conversations we shared. You will want to come back!
We had such a nice time in Manciano with the three pups! Guido and Marie Elizabeth were super helpful and welcoming - 10/10
