I looked after their two cats while they were gone for a week and they are both super lovely creatures who really appreciate being snuggled.the house is beautiful and the location is a delight, lots of things to explore in the area and a really nice welcome guide to help orient you. Highly recommend them and their home :-)
Really great sit, 10/10 recommend. Sophie and Finn are great cats. Finn was unintentionally comedic in his efforts to scope me out in the first few days. His eyes regularly popped up around the corner of the staircase or just above the table top, to check out what I was up to and asses whether I could be trusted. He let me pet him after a couple of days. Sophie was also a little hesitant at first, but came around in a matter of hours. She loves to be brushed and hang out on the front patio. The house is very comfortable, Ben and Molly are super welcoming and helpful. The neighbourhood has everything you need within walking distance: groceries, bakeries, cafes, restaurants, pharmacies, Target ;)
We totally loved the dogs Leechy and Carbonara. Very cute girls who enjoy to be loved a lot. Isaline and her mom couldn't be more welcoming, really nice. The location is also great, on a sandy road in the forest. 35 minutes north of Lisbon airport. Great for hiking. Lovely clear forest and sea view (from 10km distance). Had a rental car, think that's best because it's quite remote. Had a very good time and hope to come back!
Housitting for Luke & Georgie was a pleasure! Even though she's a very shy dog, Zippy was a very easy dog to take care of, who seemed to enjoy our morning and evening walks. The house is gorgeous, very well located, and super easy to care for as well. Thanks again for everything, and we would recommend this sit for anyone!
