Ryan was excellent my babies loved him. He has a calm and easy going energy, the communication was amazing when I did have cell service. I would definitely have him sit my babies again. The house was clean everything was excellent. I highly recommend if you are looking for a sitter.
Jennifer and Kerry went way out of their way to welcome us. Jennifer made us a great dinner the day we arrived and made sure we had everything. Mr Murphy and Fannie were awesome and very easy to take care of. Even though Mr Murphy is blind, he can get around just fine. The house is in a great area if you like to explore the outdoors. We went tubing, white river rafting and hike the Appalachian Trail besides exploring many historic towns. If you get a chance to sit for Jennifer and Kerry, do it. You won’t be disappointed.
We had a wonderful stay with Layla! She is an absolute sweetheart - well behaved, friendly, playful, great on-leash walking and fun to watch at the dog parks. We’ve cared for over 50 pups through Trusted Housesitters and Layla is up there with as one of our favorites. We were sad to say goodbye. Sunil and his family were gracious and friendly hosts. Their home is lovely: comfortable, clean, well appointed and has absolutely gorgeous views! The neighborhood is quiet and safe and the hills provide a great cardio workout when walking :-) We would love to return if our schedules permit!
I enjoyed taking care of Mr. Trevor. He has such personality and is really a velcro dog (always stays nearby) … shows you lots of love and enjoys play. He and I bonded iver the course of some days and it was a lovely time. Marini and Daniel really line you up for success when caring for their adorable pup Trevor. Their instructions are clear, they place everything where you can easily find it, and are responsive in case of any questions you may have. Their home is lovely and is in a convenient location with nice (and dog-friendly) eateries and cafes nearby. Highly recommend!
This was quite frankly an amazing sit! We had an excellent video chat with Liz quite a few months ago. She took the time to go over any queries we had as well as state her and the girl's requirements. Feeling very much at ease, before we had finished the chat, we felt ready to say yes. Communication during the weeks leading up to the sit was great and we established when we would arrive and leave, as well as suitable arrangements for the girls when we did so. Liz and Steve welcomed us into their home and went into great detail about various features of the house and of course, the schedule for the two lovely furry babies, Inka and Sassa. By the way, you will fall in love with these cats right away! Sassa came up to us and was very friendly letting us stroke her as she sniffed our hands. Inka was peacefully asleep at the time but stirred out of curiosity and was equally receptive. They are truly adorable and amazingly fluffy! The first night Sassa was very keen to hang around us and came for lots of strokes, even playing with her orange ping pong balls that she likes to chase. Inka required a little bit of coaxing in with treats, but that was mentioned in the welcome pack. She gladly came in as it approached bedtime (dusk) at all other times. When we had gotten into bed, Inka came running up to us and happily plonked herself down between us. She absolutely loved all the fuss she was getting and we were equally as happy to dish it out. Each subsequent night she came for snuggles and slept with us until breakfast time! Sassa would come and chill with us when we relaxed in the lovely lounge in the evening, then once she had fallen asleep made very cute noises! It is so lovely to see two cats who are clearly well loved and looked after, but who have also had a hassle-free upbringing and so have complete trust in humans. They truly were the most loving cats we have ever met. Writing this review a few days later, we are still quite sad and genuinely miss those two lovely ladies, we really hope to see them again someday and would jump at the chance to sit for them again.
What a wonderful house! Jaye and Tom were extremely helpful showing me around. Biscuit is just such a gorgeous dog, very cuddly! He is easy to walk and does not run off. Pod the rabbit is also friendly, and very easy company. This is a lovely location with plenty of walks from the house. The town is a 10 minute drive away with everything you could need. I would thoroughly recommend this to any other sitters that enjoy the countryside.
Daniel and Michael have the most charming, beautifully decorated home with a cook's dream kitchen! I never wanted to leave! Besides being a comfortable, welcoming home, their pets, Charlie and Al are so very special. Well trained, great on walks, super bed mates and just fun to be with! The town is great to explore as are the nearby towns. Definitely a five star sit, may be ten stars! Thank for trusting me with Charlie and Al!

This was my first time using Michele for my cat, Flynn. She was good with him during my vacation. I appreciated that she sent me pictures of Flynn each day she was with him. She followed my Instructions and left my home in good shape. I'll use Michele again for future trips.
Michele was great! We needed a pet-sitter for about 5 days to take care of our troubled child-a black, feral cat with anger issues. She braved morning and evening rush hour traffic in order to give him 1/2 hour feedings twice a day, change his litter, and attempt to play with him. Unfortunately, he was often hiding when she'd come. He, also, attempted to bite her a couple of times, and growled quite a bit, but by the third day, her warm ways began to coax him out into the light. She sent us photos, so that we could see his progress. When we arrived back home, the house was in great shape with no destruction, and Batman was just as we left him, and maybe, a little less troubled. If you're looking for an exemplary pet-sitter, Michele at Tailwagger's Pet Sitting Services is the best, and she's beyond trustworthy. We'll definitely be using her again,, if she'll have us. P.S. Michele is an Angel!! We were so nervous to leave our 3 Pomeranian for two weeks but Michele took such great care of them. She notified us every time she went to visit them and when we got home they were clean, healthy and happy! Usually my Lacie (the smallest white Pom) has a rough time when we’re away and doesn’t eat but Michele worked her magic and Lacie had no problem. We plan to use her services every time we need to leave town. Thank you Michele!!

Wag Days is amazing! My dog attended the 3-week puppy preschool and learned so much during his time there. The staff at Wag Days sent updates on his progress and tips on how we can practice at home. They truly care about all the pups that come through. We also love visiting for regular day care now that he has graduated. Couldn’t recommend way days enough!
Our dog started at Wag when she was about 5 months. It's been almost a year now and she can't get out the door fast enough to get to school. Nora and the staff really love the dogs as their own. I love watching the stories and seeing Holly playing with her friends throughout the day. Thank you so much for all the fun safe space you provide the dogs.
We started bringing our puppy to Wag Days last fall to help with her socialization (and get out some of her puppy energy!) and we couldn't be happier with the care she continues to receive. She has so much fun "going to see her friends" and does her excited dog dance when we get within a block of Wag. We love that she gets a mix of indoor and outdoor exercise, has access to enrichment through our membership, and is friendly with all dogs she comes across through the great socialization she gets at Wag. We've also used the home-based boarding and loved that she got to hangout with people she knew from going to Wag while we were away. I also appreciate getting photos of her during the day and being able to check what she and her friends are up to on the Wag Days instagram account. Can't recommend this place enough and feel lucky that it's located in South Philly!
We are a big fans of Wag Days! Our pup Olive is about 10 months now. We originally started with another puppy kindergarten class, and the trainers expressed their concerns with our pups play style -- they weren't sure if she would be a good fit for day care or the dog park. As experienced dog parents, this was really upsetting for us to hear, especially with such a young dog. We were determined to make sure she was properly socialized. My husband had won a free day at Wag in a raffle, and initially I was hesitant to redeem the offer because of the feedback we had. We reached out to Wag Days, explained everything, and they basically said, "We got you. Bring her down, lets have an eval and go from there". Long story short -- Olive crushed her puppy school training with them, has the best time ever at day care when she goes, plays well in the dog park, and has really great leash skills (with lots of treats, she is still a puppy after all). We have had such a great experience with Wag Days, and are really grateful for their help with our pup.
Our dog, Mo, absolutely loves going to Wag Days for daycare! She is basically dragging us to the door to go see her friends and comes home happy and tired from playing! We feel really comforted knowing that they love and care for our dog as much as we would! One of the best decisions we’ve ever made!
Wag Days is excellent for dog boarding and day care! I’ve been taking my dog for 3 years! My dog Biscuit LOVES playing (and getting attention), and they do an excellent job! I love that they give you tons of updates via Instagram and their portal about your dog at day care. I love seeing the enrichment activities they do - you can tell they really care about the dogs at day care! I cannot recommend them enough!

We (and our dog Bogey) are obsessed with Wag Days. They constantly send us pictures via email and also update their Instagram story throughout the day which is really great! Nora the owner is always very responsive if we have questions or concerns. We have also used Wag Days for boarding a couple of times and Bogey always returns happy and exhausted.
Our puppy Cooper did so well with Wag Days. Colby is an awesome trainer and I love all of the videos and pics they take of him during the day. Our pup picked up a tremendous amount of skills while refining some of what he already had in place. Can’t recommend Wag Days enough!
I literally cannot say enough about how wonderful Wag Days is. We have been taking our dog Charlie there for almost two years now & we have never had anything short of an amazing experience. Our pup sprints to daycare when we tell him that’s where he’s going & we feel so at ease knowing he’s happy there and having fun. The staff is amazing & gives frequent updates via pictures throughout the day. Your dog will come home tired & happy!
Our dog Molly loves this place. She goes three days a week and enjoys playing with the larger dog group there. She has A LOT of energy so it's great that she gets it out while we are at work. It appears that the staff actually enjoys working there and cares about dogs wellbeing. It's fun seeing our girl on social media having a blast. Molly also gets groomed there - it's not exactly cheap but that's because they do a phenomenal job. My only small gripe is *sometimes* the building and she smells like pee when I pick her up.
House of Dog is amazing! I bring my two dogs Miley and Presley there to get their energy out during the week. Everyone knows you and your dogs. It’s run like a regular daycare with lots of enrichment, play time, and they sometimes send them home with arts and crafts. It’s so much fun and my dogs love it! Highly recommend!
House of dog is great! We have been sending our 2 year old mixed rescue Shadow for about a year & 1/2 now to daycare & she loves it! She went through training classes there! She was board there for our wedding & they even transported her to the wedding to be in our ceremony! They do cute themed days! Now we will start sending our new puppy Rocky who is a 6 month old mixed rescue! He just went through his temperament test and seems to love it already! The staff is amazing & I can’t recommend them enough!
My puppy Dakota has been coming here for a few weeks and we have been super happy!! She is always excited to get out of the car and go inside and is always so tired when she gets home from playing! I also love how they post pictures/videos on Facebook all day you can really tell they love the doggies like their own! :)
There aren't enough good things I could say about House of Dog! My dog Romeo has been going there since we first got him (7months) and he LOVES going. I love how they post so many pictures and videos to ease the pup parents minds while they are at daycare/boarding. I have a 8 year old pit, Autumn, who can be a little fearful and was nervous she wouldn't be accepted, but they assured me they would make her stay as enjoyable as possible. Whenever I can recommend this facility, I do!
Hank has been going to HOD for almost a year and we absolutely love it! He attends daycare 3 days a week and has the best time. The staff is always friendly and super welcoming. As soon as we walk in the door, we are always greeted and Hank’s tail instantly starts wagging! I love all of the pictures they post on Facebook and I can always tell Hank is having the best time. If you’re looking for a place to board or send your dog to daycare HOD is the place to go! We love it so much!
This is the only place I would ever feel comfortable boarding my dogs. It’s a ver large, nice, clean building. They even have the cutest shuttle. Follow their Facebook for the cutest posts.
House of Dogs Retreat and Spa was the best move for Tootsie. She loves going there and playing with the other dogs and humans. The workers are friendly and pay great attention to the dogs.
The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive in creating a welcoming atmosphere. They provide a safe and comfortable space for my fur baby. Riley loves going here and she will sleep until 2pm the next day. I can’t recommend House of Dog enough!
HOD is great for doggie day care, and boarding needs. We have been a customer for the last three years and have seen the business evolve. HOD has been effective every step of the way at always keeping up the high quality of their services. They have a great staff and well maintained facility. Their staff are great with communication and they have a client portal which is very user friendly. Highly recommend!
Best place for your dogs!! Whether you are boarding them overnight, for a few days or just a day for daycare.. your dogs will leave happy and tired :-) They have so much room to run around... and it's not too many dogs per dog attendants in the yard! Many places we've gone.. there are wayyyy too many dogs to keep track of. This place, not only has lots of room to run around, they always have different enrichment activities to keep your dogs happy. They offer so much for what you are paying for. Lots of different treats and services. My pups Chewy and Pandora are always so excited when we pull up. Love how the attendant know them to as they are pulling us in :-) They have great communication. We were in a different country when they needed to update us one time and getting in touch with them was easy. We highly recommend this place. Your pups will love you!
My pups stayed here for 2 nights in a flying solo penthouse to keep them happy as my one pup is dog reactive. I just picked them up and they are the happiest pups right now. I know they received the best care and were so loved while we were gone. The pickup time was SO well orchestrated. The workers all seem to love what they do and truly care. Thanks for everything!
It was Jameson's 1st time boarding and he had an amazing time! The staff always kept us informed of how he was doing, sent pictures and report cards. We are so very grateful for all the staff at Fetch! Jameson didn't want to leave 🩵 It's so comforting to know that he was so well cared for and loved!! Thank you to all! Fetch is the only place I will board our pup Wyatt. Their care is exceptional! We loved getting tailored report cards and pictures every day while we were away on our vacation to ease our mind. Our pup gets so excited to go to Fetch as soon as we pull into the parking lot! We recommend Fetch to everyone we know for boarding and daycare!
I have been using Fetch for daycare and boarding since we moved to Pitman NJ. I’m so glad we found this place. My dog Buddy gets so excited once he realizes where we are driving to. They are very professional and run a very controlled safe environment. I feel very confident in the care they give my dog , and Buddy is our whole world and we don’t trust just anyone with him. I also like that they have fun holiday activities that your pet can participate in.

Max had such a great time at his first day! He was knocked out all night from how much fun he had. The staff is so sweet and you can tell they truly care about you and your pup. They made me feel so comfortable leaving him there to play. I highly recommend Fetch to anyone looking for a safe and fun place for your pup!
It was my first time here and they were good with my two small dogs. Very thorough with explanations and we did a trial day before their actual check in - so that we’d see if the dogs would be a good fit. I was able to put them in the same room and keep them together. They called me with an update and left a message for me. My one dog is part Chihuahua with some behavior issues and they were able to accommodate him just fine. They came back happy and safe. The staff is very friendly and they treat you with a lot of understanding. I was able to bring some things from home to leave with the dogs for comfort items. I was very nervous leaving them but they eased all of my worries. Thanks !
Philadelphia Pet Hotel & Villas was an outstanding experience from start to finish. Prices were fair, it was simple to schedule the boarding for our cats, and the service/updates of our cats we received were great. I would highly recommend their services to friends or family.
For several years, my cat has been boarding at Philly Pet Hotel when I am out of town, and we’re both super pleased with the experience. They are such kind, caring, compassionate people, and Jelly Bean clearly enjoys the attention from and playtime with the staff. I appreciate the option to get text/photo updates of her stay. I’m grateful that I can rely on the team there to take care of her while I’m away. Highly recommend!

This is now the umpteenth time we’ve lodged our dog, Cosmo, here, but a perfect example of how Philadelphia Pet Hotel & Villas always goes above and beyond: While I had arranged for a late check out, my flight kept getting delayed. I ended up picking up Cosmo at midnight, and even at that time, there was someone there to hand him over and carefully read me his detailed chart (notes on his stay)! This same visit, they gave me a call to let me know Cosmo had gotten a tiny scratch on his nostril while playing… so tiny that I probably wouldn’t have noticed it day-to-day, but they did! They watch over many dogs but still deliver attentive and individualized care to each dog. The peace of mind I get when traveling knowing Cosmo is safe and cared for is worth it every cent. As seen below, Cosmo himself cannot wait for his next stay.
I recently boarded my dog here for around a week. It was my dogs first time boarding and I was super nervous leaving him by himself since he's also a little reactive to other dogs. But the staff here were so kind and accommodating to our needs and my dog had no issues while staying here. Will definitely be coming back here to board my dog and recommending this place to my friends!
Absolutely stunned with how amazing this pet hotel is! I needed to board my 65 lb yellow lab named Mango in a short amount of time and Daren and Chris from Philadelphia Pet Hotel & Villas wasted no time to accommodate our needs! Being given a tour of the facility, I knew I had chosen the right place for my dog when I saw their 'villas' and play areas. Beautiful land, clean facility, excellent price. Mango will be back!
Great, modern, clean pet hotel w very attentive staff. Honestly surprised it's in Philly. We felt really good about leaving our dog here for a week. We got photos each day, email reports, and she had play sessions each day.
They did a great job with my Geely! Their cat facilities are really beautiful. Each cat gets 1 hour of playtime per day outside of the cat condo. The staff was very attentive to his needs and they even contacted me to let me know he was not eating much (which is completely normal when a cat is outside of his/her comfort zone). Geely was perfectly fine and had a wonderful visit, I just really appreciated how much they cared about him! I would 10/10 recommend to a friend. We love Philly Pet Hotel & Villas!
I cannot rave about this place enough. Our sweet little boy was there for 8 days while we vacationed. We got updated photos and told about his progress throughout the whole trip. When we picked him up he looked like he was having the time of his life and the staff was so friendly I can just tell they treated our guy well by how he wanted to say his goodbyes to everyone. Not to mention he came back cleaner then when we sent him! I highly recommend The Philly Pet Hotel to anyone that loves their fur baby as much as I do!
About five years ago, I received a recommendation to use Shawe’s Paws. I had just rescued my dog Charlie and needed a dog walker during the days. Jenn at Shawe’s Paws was there from Charlie’s first walk and is still walking Charlie today! Not only is Jenn friendly, reliable and loves Charlie as if she was her own, but she knows how to handle Charlie’s quirks and personality. Jen is truly one of the best dog walkers out there. Our dog Oscar is obsessed with her - to the point where she tries to walk quietly by our house if she's going to walk our neighbor's dog so he doesn't hear her! On Oscar's first birthday, I was traveling for work and Jen took Oscar to the store to get him a birthday cake toy. It's the smaller, thoughtful things like this that make her irreplaceable in our pup's life. She also takes super cute pictures (attached) and sends an email about how each walk went. She makes leaving Oscar for work trips less hard because I know that he'll be so excited to see her when she comes for his walk!
Jen and the Shawe's team have been walking my family's dogs for 7 years or so. They have always gone above and beyond to accommodate shifting schedules, schedule or cancel on short notice, and even pick up the phone to talk about any pet concerns we might have (unrelated to them! just for advice!). My pup Ollie loves seeing his walkers and I could not do my job without the peace of mind that someone responsible will come take him out and play with him while I work. Bonus - they take the best pics of my little guy while they visit!

When we first moved to Philadelphia, our dog was very shy and timid around walkers that we would hire through various apps, but then Jen came and saved the day. She goes above and beyond to make Benji comfortable and now he gets excited when we just say her name. I have been using Shawe’s Paws for over a year now and have nothing but amazing things to say about the company!! After several bad experiences with other dog walking services, finding Jennifer was such a relief! My furbaby is in love with her and her assigned walker, Jake. She is always accommodating and treats my dog as if she is her own. Their app makes scheduling and paying so easy. I highly recommend Shawe’s Paws!
I’ve used Jen and her walkers for over 5 years now and I honestly would never use any other dog walking service in Philly. She is trustworthy, reliable, AND LOVES all of her dogs. And my dog absolutely loves her dog walkers, as I’ve been able to see a couple times when my dog will go running toward them, tail wagging if we happen to bump into them on the street. Jen uses an easy-to-use app to schedule walks/pay invoices and to see the daily walk reports which is super convenient. Also Jen makes herself available for every client and will always try her best to accommodate any late requests - I can’t tell you the number of times I’ve had to put in a last minute request for a same-day dog walk or for an overnight stay the week-of and Jen will always make it work. Aside from that, it’s great to get pictures of my dog on her walk while I’m at work - I truly never have to worry Sophie when I’m not at home because I know she’s in such great hands. Jen and her team has been taking care of our dog since he was brought into our family as a puppy! From consistent walks, amazing walkers and just all around dog people to overnight stays, she has been there for us throughout his life (and will be for the many years yet to come)! Jen is understanding and flexible with last minute changes, which for us happen a lot! Her walkers leave a note about their walk every time and even text/call us from time to time with updates. I have never noticed a thing out of place in out of place after a walker left. The Shawe's Paws team is the only team I trust to take the best care of our dog! Both my wife and I HIGHLY recommend them for all of your dog care need! If you live in Philly and have a dog, CALL JEN!
Jen has been in my dog's life for years (even though we've since moved to the suburbs.) She and her staff are flexible, reliable, and they LOVE their charges/pets. They truly understand my quirky, sweet dachshund and he loves them for it. He even got to sleep over Jen's house!! Jen is super responsive and capable and she chooses excellent staff members. I could go on and on, cannot recommend highly enough!
There is absolutely no one I would trust more with our pups than Shawe's Paws. They are fantastic and dependable for daily walks, and they are there for you if you need to travel without your dog. Shawe's email updates provide you with a story about your dog's walk and a number of pictures as well. We have been a client for six years now. We have no idea what we would do without Shawe's Paws!
We reached out to Five Paws very last minute to see if they would be able to watch our dog who had significant medical needs. They were wonderful from start to finish and I was so confident each time that she was in such great care. We've previously had her boarded and she would seem so stressed when we picked her up. We were desperate to find an alternative and we didn't look back once we started using Five Paws. They give updates, pictures and each time we came home she was as happy as can be. They provided such peace for us knowing she was in good hands and was happy especially given all of her medical concerns (dog dementia, blindness, hard of hearing, pain, etc..). Our Sahara has since passed but I would use them again and again with any dogs we may have in the future and cannot recommend them enough.
I don't trust anyone else with my pets when I'm away! I love that I know I will get photos of my cats and a report of how the visit went from the sitter. They take time to give the cats individual attention, not just coming in to feed, clean, and leave. Scheduling is very easy and the rates are reasonable.
Hi: Kudos to Five Paws Recently had Five Paws cat sit our cats and pond fish. The team at Five Paws hit a homerun with us. The team is very professional, respectful and loving to our gang. The team of Melinda and Blythe were so observant of our pets, even going out of the way to feed our strays, without blinking an eye. Special shout out to Melinda who really saved the day as she was feeding the fish in our pond, when she noticed that one of our goldfish got stuck in the filter. Without any hesitation she jumped in to save him, which would have been a disaster if she didn't as he would have passed and fouled the pond water. Five Paws provides the BEST pet-sitting service around! Finding them has made time away from our dogs stress-free, as we get fun updates and photos after every visit. The sitters have really gotten to know our dogs, and even our super-shy pup now loves when they come. Highly recommend!
Five Paws has taken excellent care of all my pets (rabbit, cat, mice) for many years now and they do an excellent job! They were even able to give my cat pills (in pill pockets) and coordinated with my vet once when she stopped eating and I could not be reached. They are reliable, responsible, trustworthy, and professional. I will continue to use them when I go on vacation and highly recommend them!
They've taken great care of my cats for a few years! I can relax on vacation, and love getting the photo reports each visit which show how my pets are doing.
We have been using Five Paws for a few years now, for small weekend trips or week long vacations. They have been so wonderful with our pups. It is a relief to know my dogs are in good hands and they can remain comfortable in their own space while we are away, instead of in a kennel which would stress my 13 year old pup too much. I always hate to leave them behind but I am so grateful to know they are happy and healthy and having fun while I’m gone.
We used Five Paws for our cat while we were on vacation. It was the first time we left her behind without family checking in, and I was a nervous wreck. Faith was our sitter, who took wonderful care of our girl. After every visit, we'd receive an update with multiple pictures. We've already put in our vacation request days for this summer!
I HIGHLY recommend hiring Five Paws of Delco! The owner is fantastic, the scheduling process is so simple, and all of the sitters are wonderful! They are EXTREMELY reliable and trustworthy, which is so important when you're away. They also have a great app used to communicate with each sitter and to see pics of your pups! I always receive such a sweet and detailed update from our sitter after every visit. I had an experience where I was out of the country using a different sitter (not Five Paws of Delco) who was supposed to watch my dogs at their house for the week. They decided that they no longer wanted to watch them after a couple days, so they dropped them back off at my house, alone. I was panicking, just having arrived in another country, so I reached out to Five Paws of Delco who immediately responded and scheduled multiple last minute visits for me. I cannot thank them enough for being there during this very stressful time! It's so comforting to know we always have them available to sit for our dogs. I promise you won't regret hiring this company!
We have been using Five Paws for a little over two years for noontime walks and visits for our miniature poodle. They are absolutely the best to work with!
