My cat, Archie, is always well looked after at Midsomer Pet Lodge. The cats have lots of space while there and the "rooms" are set around a central outdoor space so the animals get fresh air and natural light. The facility is very clean and the staff are lovely.

Good facilities in a nice - if perhaps a little remote - location. U-shaped set of cubicles with good adjustable window coverings for when it is hot or cold. Very friendly and helpful service. Will happily use again for our cats.
Our cats really enjoyed their stay at Midsomer Pet Lodge. They were really well looked after - the staff took the time to play with them and brush them as well providing the occasional treat. As for us, we were really impressed with the cleanliness of MPL and the super friendly staff and owner. Nothing seems to be too much trouble and we will shortly be booking our cats in for next year's holiday. Highly recommended.

5 STAR Pet Lodging for my fur boy Jasper John. Very friendly staff, clean, quiet, lovely facility. Fairly priced...and a pleasure to deal with. Would highly recommend. (When I was away, I sent them a text to see how my baby was doing. They quickly replied and gave me the reassurance I needed that he was happy, being well looked after, and spoiled!! When I came to collect him, they gave me a little note reporting his behavior during his stay...It was really sweet!) They love cats as much as we do! Thank you Midsomer Pet Lodge :)))

Superb dog physio and hydrotherapy centre and dog leisure swimming pool, the staff are all really nice and amazing with the dogs. Brilliant indoor swimming pool with nice, easy ramp entry/exit so even the older dogs can get in and out with no difficulty. Water treadmill, stance analyser to check weight distribution, later therapy, and more. Oh, and Barney's favourite bit, they do a lovely range of natural treats (he likes a pigs ear or a lamb trachea in particular, but there's also a range of other things). Easy to find site with plenty of parking, and they also do doggie daycare.
You need to have your dog registered, and book appointments in advance, but I've never had a problem. Great place. Teddy loves it. The staff are particularly friendly and live all the pooches. Hill you turn off is a bit dangerous, but you just have to be very careful
The dog swimming sessions are just the best days for both our dogs. They love every minute of it (and it keeps them quiet afterwards for a good few hours)
