A truly wonderful sit. Teddy is such a friendly and well mannered dog who loves cuddles and walks. Biscuit is a grand older lady whose tail wagged 24/7 even though her legs don't want to go very far these days.
Both were well trained and were very easy to care for and to love. We miss them both already.
The house and location is amazing (though we would recommend a car for shopping and visiting the wider area). Stunning views and decor and space. Grand yet comfortable and well equipped. And a great local pub within walking distance, the Queens Head. Do try it!
Marvelous places to visit. We knew the area from 20 years ago and still want to return as there's still more to see and visit. Because Biscuit stays at home we did limit our trips out this time to 3-4 hours taking Teddy with us as he was very good in the car.
The wet winter has made most footpaths too muddy but there's a good local network of lanes for easy dog walking. We can imagine summer to be amazing and hope to be invited back so we can explore even further with the gorgeous Teddy.

Deirdre and Jamie are amazing hosts. They made me feel very welcome, took their time to explain and show me around and were easy to communicate with. Winter and Lily were just the perfect pets to take care of, so well behaved and full of love. I can definitely recommend sitting for this lovely family.

Fern
We had a wonderful sit at Fern's beautiful PEC home with Charlie, Darcy, Lilo & Stitch. You will absolutely fall in love with these pets! Charlie is the sweetest chocolate lab you'll ever meet. She has some mobility and incontinence issues, so needs some extra potty breaks and wears daipers inside. Darcy is an energetic young dalmatian who will keep you on your toes and adores lots of attention, positive praise, and cuddles! The ideal sitters for these pups will have experience with energetic, intelligent big dogs. The kitties Lilo & Stitch mostly keep to themselves, but eventually came out for scratches and treats, they're both very sweet and will often sit on the stairs for some people watching.

Fern's home is beautifully appointed with everything you could need, yard, pool, scooters and bikes, and is within close driving distance of restaurants, wineries, sandbanks beach and the towns of Belleville and Picton. Fern also gave a great list of local recommendations!

Please don't hesitate to reach out to us for any questions about Fern's awesome housesit.
